- I get asked this question a lot, almost daily. The decision is so heavily based on personal preference that you really need to try both or atleast see both to make a decision. So In this video I display the differences in size between the 1.0 and .5
The 1.0 weighs 8.1# and the .5 weighs 5.6#
Those weights are bare stand weights, with strap and cushion id add about a pound.
Let me know if you have any questions and log in to the Mobile Hunters United page on Facebook for more knowledge on mobile hunting tactics and gear.
Great deal. Just right size for us. Wish we had bought one sooner.
Great video man.... Thank you for showing all of those different perspectives. Truly the first video I've seen where someone did that.
thanks man, when the new stands come in ill have to do it all over again.
@@Stache.squatch It just came out. Semi disappointed to be honest and don't think it would be worth it for you... same length as the 1.0 but 3 inches skinnier... But you get a drastically smaller seat and you only save 0.6 pounds!
@@GarrettOutdoors I’ve sat on it and handled it’d the dimensions really are sweet and mainstains the narrow profile for hunting these thickets
Enjoyed watching your video, showing both stands from those perspectives was helpful. Liked and subscribed 👍✌🏹🦌
Great! Glad it could help out!
Nice review. I have the same setups and pack and love them. Good luck this year and I will follow you
Lone Wolf extended the seat on their Assault years ago not only for comfort, but because you simply can’t come to full draw seated too close to the tree. But I suppose the redeeming thing with the .5 is how the cables end up a little farther apart for standing. Good comparison.
While that is true, it is also true for the .5, the seat was also pushed slightly forward for these as well. I have been messing around with shooting in the seated position and have not had any issues out of normal.
Good job with video Dude, you went all in! Both LWCG stands, sticks and the backpack
Just the beginning haha!
And shirt
What diameter of trees are you getting a lwcg
Stand on the brackets seem to be small looking
I have put them on a tree that maxes out the straps. Personally I haven’t found a tree I was not able to hang on.
@@Stache.squatch so it doesn’t bother u to have the platform teeth just on the last teeth one on each side? Mine one bigger trees just has one tooth connection on each side on big trees
@@brianguest5622 no sir, those two teeth bite hard enough and I’ve never made any maneuvers while hunting to rock it. I only ever use one strap and toe cam.
@@Stache.squatch thanks for the info
Size boots? Any additional thoughts?
I wear a 13-14 depending on brand. The more I use it the more I think the .5 will do it for me. I’ll never let go of the 1.0 though
Do you see yourself getting the 2.0? Or do you think the 1.0 still has plenty of room ? I’m 6’4” 260 myself
I have a 2.0 as well, it is awesome.
My stand selection will be based on terrain. Most cases I will be using 1.0.
If I know I’m going to be doing a lot of arduous hiking, I will take the .5.
If I’m hunting flat land private or have a short walk then the 2.0 is super comfortable, super solid, and still quite light.
Do you have the 20” post?
At the time of this video these were 20” posts. Mine are 22” now!
Total hunt weight on the 1.0?
With everything including 4 minis, 2 cable aiders, j hooks, all straps and cushion I was at 17#
Just the 1.0 with one strap and the seat cushion was at 9#

Do it for a living, so yeah
