After a lot of research I Just ordered a LWCG .5 stand and 5 beast stick minis wanted to get it early and have plenty of time getting it all set up and getting reps in trees before next fall Thanks for the review helped me in my decision purchasing the stand

I JUST ORDERED THE LW .5 I ALSO ORDERED THE MEDIUM SEAT BUT YA I'LL HAVE TO THICKEN MY "CUSTOM" STAND TOO. I'M USING TWO OF MY FULL LENGTH STICKS AND ONE AIDER. I USED TWO 8" SWIMMING NOODLES (CAMO TAPED) AND BUNGY THEM TO THE STAND. GREAT VIDEO! NEW SUB. ALWAYS THUMBS UP! GOD'S BLESSINGS!

I got a first generation Lone Wolf stand. Like from 1995. It looks small and thin like this stand. I went down in the basement to weight it. It weighs 9.7 lbs and it still is one of the lightest stands I own. It feels like nothing packing it on my back so This 5 pound stand would be insanely light! I think I’m gonna pick one up cuz I gotta experience it. I walk a long ways on some hunts, pretty much all I do now since I hunt all public land

You willing to sell that .5 grey seat pad or trade it for a bigger one like the 1.0 (new one)? I have 5 new 1.0 ones and 3 hunt comfort ones

I’m getting ready to order the .5! Great review, my only question is how high can you get with the doubles with all 4 aiders? Idk if I want the 17” doubles or the 20” doubles yet

Do it! It’s a fantastic stand. I was running 3 17” doubles with aiders and was easily getting 15’. I’m sure with 4 you could get 17-18ft. Plus I’m short

Can you do a comparison between the DS.5 and the Novix Helo?

Hey…seeing as it’s virtually impossible to get ahold of LWCG on the phone, can you stack 4 sticks on it if you wanted or just 3 max?

Saw u also got the .75 if you could only one run between the .5 and .75 for a whole season what would u choose

Depends on what for. For the long rut hunt sits I’d go with the .75 but for mobile sits in the early stages of the season I’d go with the .5!

Helpful review man. I have the old original 8.5# LW Assault and I want to go even more lightweight. I'm trying a saddle but so far, I don't like it. I don't like how I can't see behind me, and since I face the tree, I have a huge blind spot in front of me... I find myself moving around a lot trying to maintain good situational awareness and visibility. It has me longing to be back in the stand... Don;t get me wrong. On the hike in and hike out, I love the saddle... but in the tree... I want my stand!
