hey mate have you had any 1kd hiluxs in where they will only produce 4.5psi of boost? confirmed theres no vacuum leaks, the map sensor filter is new and also has a new turbo driver ecu fitted. was told by toyota the stepper motor was okay aswell. so stumped im ready to sell it!
Having the same issues mate. Can’t believe it. Ready to flog the car off to the auctions as all the non qualified mechanics in Melbourne are useless. What did your problem end up being ?

If one of these runs great cold then lack of power when the engine is worm, no fault coded. What to look for?
Did you end up finding what the problem was ? I have the same issue
so the problem is the SCV& cracked maf filter?
Yes the SCV was the problem but we replaced the MAP sensor filter anyway because it was cracked.

Definitely could be. Can you smoke test the intake to see if you have any boost leaks?
