It's works for this AU. But I can also see this working for Zooble in the main series. Episode 3 showing that she's not happy with her body gives impact to the lyrics "we don't want your _broken parts."_ I can see Zooble explaining how she was ostracized for her appearance (in the circus and/or real life) but learning she doesn't have to worry what those losers think.
