I was never a big fan of this song-never understood what it meant. But I have a memory connected to it. When I graduated HS, my parents bought me a ticket and paid for me to meet my biological parents. This song was playing at Lambert/St Louis airport when I boarded the plane. Most meaningful present I EVER got in my life. Made me love and appreciate my parents. They gave me my wings.
@@renees8003 When she says "your baby," she's talking about herself. He found someone else, which made her "blue" (sad). She's saying she never looked good in blue. AH, childhood memories when Expose ruled the airwaves. I remember their first radio song "Come Go With Me", but "Seasons Change" put them on the map. Radio played their songs until "I Wish the Phone Would Ring" in 92. Sure miss listening to their songs on the radio
Exactly, you are absolutely right. And as far as Milli Vanilli goes, what's funny about driving one of them to suicide??, how many of today's singers lip sync?, a LOT.
@@rgrndu Milli Vanilli had talent, and they wanted to sing their own songs. Unfortunately, they signed a contract without seeing the little details. Basically they were just puppets for videos, and there was nothing they could do to get out of the contract.
Granted, Exposé was also a manufactured act... and they weren't a 'band' since they didn't play instruments (though Ann can play the guitar). Still, I'll take them over the Spice Girls or Fifth Harmony any day.
You should check into Pandora they are girl-only trio from Mexico. I think that expose has more or less musical influence by Pandora's Latin-pop style. Expose is Latin free-style when they sing romance ballad I thought of Pandora.
I'm a male and hearing this song reminds me of my childhood I think I was 6 or 7 yrs old when this song is released. I was playing the cassette tape on my stereo with this song and jotting down every lyrics of the song until I finally memorized it. And I was too damn proud to sing this at school. They're asking me hey what's that song? I said It's expose you looked good in blue, without your baby. They said that's a nice song. :) I said It's a great song.
Expose should of been in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame 3, 3 1/2 years ago. What up with that? Let's go already. Matthew Adcock@icloud.com👋💪🏿👍🏾🌈✌🏿👌🇺🇸🌏🥂🌯
I knooow ! Nothing compares to this music and that of the 80s. The disgusting circus clowns balloon asses I just can’t anymore. Unfortunately stations that are supposed to play this type of music end of playing goo goo dolls and Britney Spears. There isn’t one not one female singer that has anything that can compare to this.
I am so honored- still- to have these 3 women as friends. I have not seen this since then, and OMG did the memories come flooding back! I not only was an artist signed to their producer, Lewis, but Ann was one of my very best friends from college when those halcyon days all began. And I can personally attest to your statement (and I heard & watched them in all aspects of performance, from the rough, dry cut to the masterfully produced & flawlessly performed versions of the songs), it is quite true that each one were extremely talented....each had their own unique sound, but could easily change to such perfect unison...these women had been artfully cast for this gig, and Lewis GOT IT RIGHT. These 3 also became lifelong friends, and their cameraderie--love, in point of fact--is so beautifully captured in this video. One of the most underrated groups of all time, one doesn't have to have been there, like I; one only needs watch, and listen--- to know all they need to about these three terrific women, their all-too-brief stint at the very top of the charts, & what it felt like to be there to share it with them. Indeed, it was a privilege. Love you guys! ---D. Brooks
there are some totally awesome runnerups like: The Covergirls, Sweet Sensation, Seduction, Company B, Pajama Party, Genuine Parts, Sweet Connection, Sequal, etc.
without any doubt these girls were outstanding, even though I was a child and non-English speaker I really really liked their music, I had a crush on Jeanette and Ann and I still admire them
Lately on long drives I’ve just been putting my iTunes on random just to see what comes up. This song came on and my 14 and 12 year old instantly fell in love with this song. If you see two girls and their dad belting this song out at the I-5 by Del Mar, that’s us.
EXPOSE WAS JUST IN CONCERT AT THE WELLS FARGO CENTER IN PHILLY AUGUST 18TH, 2018 AND THEY SOUNDED GREAT. EVEN THOUGHT TAYLOR DANE AND STEVIE B WERE THERE THE BEST WAS EXPOSE THAT NIGHT.
even though this isn't the original group they are the Expose I grew up listening too. I haven't heard to much from the original lineup but they to sound good not as good as this version but I like them though. RIP Sandra (Sandee) Casanas.
I had the chance to talk to Jeanette at the Phoenix Freestyle Explosion concert back in 2007-ish. I vividly remember her sitting at the meet and greet table just outside the venue in the walkway. I froze up, freaked out, and out of nowhere felt super shy. After hearing their music and seeing their videos, I literally couldn't believe she was right there, with no one else around here yet. The performance they put on that night was super amazing. I only knew a few of their songs from the roller rink, but every song they sang that night was soul touching. I didn't even know about "Your baby never looked good in blue" until that night and it is now my favorite song by Expose. Damn it Jeanette, I wish I mustard up the courage to talk to you for a brief moment that night. You looked exactly how you did in your videos. All 3 of you have soul touching voices. If I could only go back in time. I wish the most success for all of you.
@Aryel Muse;I definitely looked bad in"blue"from 1992 when my childs mom"fled from my heart"to 1996 when sage counsel from my Daddy in the midst of a concrete"slab"we worked on together, caused me to stand STRONG and pull myself OUT of despair and despondency by recognizing her departureFROM MY presence was HER loss, not MINE!! Thanks Dad for being the only person IN my adult life who made me feel/let me know that I MATTERED!!

my favorite girl group in the freestyle era love expose ♥ this, point of no return, seasons change, let me be the one, tell me why , come go with me and what should have know are my favorites ♥
Seasons Change, When I Looked at Him, Your Baby Never Looked Good in Blue and I'll Never Get Over You, Getting Over Me, these were my favorites. They did ballads really well.
Love Expose and their music! There is truly no one like them in the world. I regret missing this tour in 1989 when they came to Detroit. However, I did get to see them play at the Michigan State Fair during their previous tour with Julie Albers subbing for Gioia, when she was on maternity leave. I am very glad that this video includes footage from their concert at The State Theater in Detroit, now known as the Fillmore Detroit. There are a few shots of the marquee of the former State Theater including the shot where the fans are all lined up out on Woodward Avenue , waiting to get in to the show. I’m pretty sure that at least some of the live performance footage in this video is also from that same concert? The Video Exposure home video release also shows a brief excerpt of an actual live concert clip of Ann singing “Stop, Look at Listen” that really looks like it’s also from that same Detroit show? Thank you Expose so much for including this footage from the last time that I know of that they played here in Michigan. Please come play here for us fans again very soon please. You are missed.

This song is criminally underrated. Jeanette does such a wonderful job with it.❤❤❤❤❤
Yes, she really can sing. And these girls put feeling into the music.
Right, I Love it!
Wow. Expose was the group in the '80s/early '90s. They NEVER got the respect they deserved.
They're still together today and still performing.
Their #17 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 from 1990
This should have been at #1 It is one really good song, a favorite of mine.
Written by Diane Warren too

Sounds like they were trying to get rid of you.
The word "Blue" here is supposed to represent sadness almost depression-like bc the other half has found someone new

Back then you really had to have talent to make it unlike today's crop of artists.

Jeannette Jurado-seriously under-rated singer!!!
i know right, mad underrated
Wrong place ... she looks like Selena
She looks like Actress America Ferrera's doppelganger!😃
No lie
Yeah ,she is amazing
The Go-Gos, Bangles, and Exposé are my three favorite girl bands from the 80s, early 90s. They don't make them like this anymore.

Listen to this song: Me Dedeque a Perderte then you know what o meant.
One of the best girl groups of all times. Luv then!!
I always loved when Jeanette sang lead. She had the best voice!
Awesome song, and Jeanette's voice is one of my favorite female voices!!! :)
I think it's fair to say they out-Bangled the Bangles in this one. The vocal harmonies are to die for.
The Bangles can hold their own as both groups were awesome
The Bangles would have made a huge hit out of this song too if they had it
Brings me back to my teen years of social awkwardness and beautiful music.

Love this group still listening in 2024❤
Still listening to them still their fan saw them in concert in Bossier City , Louisiana 1989
Still a banger 2024 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

Most talented group of the 80's and most beautifull girls too....
Toss up between Expose and The Bangles
@@612db yo and Cover Girls
Definitely the cover girls!
Sweet Sensation girls too, Sequal, Genuine Parts, Seduction, Lazzaie Faire,

This song is so full of emotion with Jeanette providing the vocals. Her vocal in this song is amazingly fitting.

Back when music was a religion. Absolutely soulful and sobering.
They were a very solid group, it's hard to find the Solid Gold videos anymore where their choreography was awesome.
Were??? They still are.
FaytLinegod Oversensitive a tad maybe? Well let me be the one to keep you from the point of no return. Look it's not the end of the world and seasons change, and as such so do people. Jet Fan How am I being over-sensitive? All I'm saying is that they've still got it.
This song never got the airplay it deserved.
Nice beatiful song. 80’s lives on forever.
