Hi Lovely's Just an update: I now pop my potato slices in the microwave for a few minutes in a microwave container with a splash of water before I add them on top. Just to make sure they cook properly x
May I suggest to all, Iceland mash, was a quid, probably 7 a bag now, but pellets of frozen mash in the Microwave. It's lovely. The time, energy, cooking time, Give it a try..
My easy easy tip is buy Marks and Spencer’s buttery mash, I make the meat and onions in my ninja speedy, cook for several minutes to brown the meat and onions, on the sear and sauté, add some diced frozen carrots onions and celery, add some hot water to just cover the meat cook for 15 mins on airfryer and steam, add some gravy powder towards the end to thicken the liquid , transfer all the meat to a foil container, allow to cool before adding the mash I sliced the mash as it’s cold coming out if the fridge, and place on top of the meat, then when you need it, pop in the airfryer for 15 mins to heat up the middle and brown the top, either sprinkle cheese on top or blobs of butter, enjoy with any microwave veg of your fancy.
Hello from Manchester! Thank you so much for your LOVELY videos! I have to say that your way of cooking is so true and honest and therefore lovely that it becomes the very reason that everyone who is watching you cooking is naturally drawn to ur dishes! I wish you all whats best in the universe, mainly health. Thahk you again and cant wait for your next video! Best regards Piotr&Jake🎉
Excellent video,I only really started dabbling in cooking when I bought the Ninja air fryer, but after I viewed your easy to follow instruction for the cottage pie ,My long suffering wife awarded me Husband of the month ,lol ,A big thanks and I am looking forward to trying another air fryer meal
Well I have just bought this very air fryer, just awaiting delivery now, and planning to make this version of cottage pie, as I an now a widow i can make this and eat some and put some in a container in the fridge for another night, I love cottage pie. One thing that would be very helpful is if you could list the ingredients, method and approximate times you used. Also love the thought of putting the potatoes in the microwave for a few minutes to soften them up a bit. Another tip my Daughter uses in her Ninja Foodi is to soak the pototes for approximately 10 mins or so in boiling water to start the cooking process first. Will be going through a lot of your recepies and trying a lot out, thank you for this lovely channel too. Keep up the great work.🥰
I jyst have a small airfyer, but I live alone. I find it does sausages beautifully. It doesnt do chips from scratch well, but I buy the frozen ones and I pop them in the microwave for half a minute, then i to the airfryer. Beautiful! Ditto my roasties. If I am doing chops, I pop them in together, and it is great. Steak cooks great too. I season my steak, put a couple of oats of butter on it and it is beautiful. I like medium rare, fairly thick cut, so 200° for 4 mins a side. Going to try this recipe.
Hi Liz 👋 I agree with the sausages 😋 I do make real chips a lot but can be tricky to get them right. I buy the cheapest frozen chips that are meant for a fryer and find them the best. Pop them straight in frozen on around 190c for 12-15 mins with a shake half way. Hope that helps some x
I love this recipe and have made it several times. I divide the mixture in half before I add the potatoes so it is ready for freezing when it cools. Great to have another dinner for another day!!
I just found you, watched you make the toad in the hole then the cottage pie and subscribed immediately. So nice to see videos from a Brit watched by another Brit. Nice to see the oxo and Bisto come out. I live half way round around the world, it’s so nice to recognise the meals and be educated on the Ninja air fryer. ❤
Hi Gail 👋 lovely to have you here. I live in Ireland and have done for over 26 years. No matter where we are, it's always nice to have some meals that are homely x
Hi Lindz thanks for all your great guidance with air fryer cooking. I am new to all this ( mum pestered me to get one, as she has two Ninjas and swears by them! I was sceptical at first as I thought they were a gimmick, but now I’m a believer!! 😂) I bought a Speedi a couple of weeks ago and I’ve only used my conventional oven once since as I’m so in love with Speedi😁 Now I’ve bought a flex drawer Ninja and I can’t wait to try it. You cook very similarly to me, as I can seem to second guess your timings! 😂 Thanks so much, I’m sure I’ll refer to you for help going forward with my Ninjas. Liked and subscribed ❤ Take care lovely. 😁❤️
Just found your channel and watched a few, have say very well presented and giving me more ideas of things to try. Thank you, look forward to more ideas
I have the Dual 10qt (US). Previously, I had the 8qt Dual (rehomed to my son). I dearly love the versatility of this Ninja device. If I told you just how many Ninjas I have presently in Active use, ones in StandBy, and ones gifted to others, you would be shocked. I love the glass pans you use in your Dual as well as the gadget to lift them out. Great job showcasing the Ninja Dual. Folks would be quite surprised at what all can be accomplished with it. :)
I love ninja products. I've a fair collection of kitchen gadgets now, and I'm sure it will continue to grow 😊 I'd love to know what your favourites are ? x
@@LindzandLifeAmong my favorites are: SingleLid 8qt PC/AC OL701; SFP701 Combi (updated version of Speedi); Sizzle Griddle / Grill; PowerMixer System; 10Qt Dual; NeverDull Knife Set; DualBrew Coffee System; 10Qt Dual Zone AF; Smart Double FlexDoor Oven; 12-cup FoodProcessor with adjustable slicing blade. These are all in my Active Daily use lineup. I have one non-Ninja product of which I love and use mainly for protein cooks. It’s the Dreo ChefMaker. I have not used stovetop/oven since Feb 2021. I’m so glad I found you. You are the first YTer i e seen that really showcases the Dual and shows it’s way more than just a nugget-French fry device. 🥰
@dothill1258 I'd love to come and cook in your kitchen, ninja heaven 😍 I didn't know they made a coffee machine, but I do have their kettle. And I've been waiting for the never dull knife set to come back in stock here months. I like the new flexi draw, but I'd never fit it in my sink. I'm glad to have you here Dot ❤️ x
@pharmacypeople It's a stainless steel dish lifter. I've linked it in the description (more). I had one with plastic before, and it broke, but these are amazing x
I have soaked my ninja drawers by pulling hot water and soap in them and they didn’t leak. I purchased 4 of the Ikea 1 litre dishes with lids for using in my ninja and also storage of other foods and I would advise getting the lids as I used one to keep some spaghetti in sauce in the fridge for a couple of days having closed it like a Tupperware pot (pressing on the mostly closed lid to expel air) and the seal (airtightness) was amazing and would be perfect for the freezer. ❤
Hi Jane I worked out the screws were a little loose on 1 of my draws I've tightened it and no more leaking 😊 Thats great advice on the lids when I'm next putting in a ikea order I'll definitely get more and lids. Thank you lovely x
Hi Sandy 👋 I found it very confusing before I bought my first one over a year ago. I now have 2 a 4.7l single draw Cosori and my ninja, and I absolutely love them both and, more importantly, use them both. The last time I used my main oven was last Christmas. The only change I'd make would be the ninja I'd go for the model without the probe. Hope I've helped a little x
New to air fry…just basic at the moment so these videos are awesome to gain a little knowledge…. I love traditional cooking, but as we all know, the price of gas and electricity is worrying….., will give this a go for sure xx
Hi I've just received my Ninja Dual air fryer today, I must say I'm very impressed I cooked a lamb shank and roast potatoes and veg in half the time my oven would have cooked it. thanks for sharing you have a new subscriber 🥰xx
I’m a new subscriber to your channel . I love your no nonsense style of video . We bought a Ninja in the last few months and at this rate we are only short of doing the washing up in the Ninja 🤣. Looking forward to new ways of cooking . Keep it up
I am a new subscriber to your channel,I have only just bought my Ninja dual 3000, so I am a complete novice. I love your easy to follow demonstrations and down to earth approach. I am going to definitely have a go at this. X
hey , you just got a new fan... i have watched two of your videos... so so natural and just an awesome way you deliver the message... real life...more like this Big Hugs and thanks T
Hi, very much like your way of presenting things in a calm and humourous way and will be following your instructions when I attempt to make the meal that you have just made, well done to you. I have 2 x Cosori, the smallest one and the next one up and have now bought a Klairston 2 in One grill/air fryer as I cannot get a decent friend egg on the Cosoris but can on the Klaiston. Favourite meal is pork chop, mushrooms and creamy mashed potatoes.
Hi Patrick 👋 I have a cosori also and love it I've never tried to fry an egg in any of my air fryers I normally slow fry mine in a pan as I don't like the crispy skin bit 😅 I hope you have a happy healthy new year 😊 x
I put canned sliced potatoes on my shepherds pie now and cover them with grated cheese for the last five minutes and the family liove it . Since i retired i do all the cooking because my wife needs a break after forty odd years. It is cheaper and easier to buy them in cans and they are sliced better than i could do by hand .
Hi David 👋 Your comment gave me a smile, Its so lovely to hear you've taken over the cooking your wife is a lucky lady 😊 I used to love tinned potato's but there something I can't seem to find anymore anywhere here in Ireland. Happy New Year and happy cooking x
Wow that’s fantastic I’m going to make that Lindz, I’ve only just bought my Ninja the same as yours and I’ve cooked homemade chips and fish and I’m really pleased with it, thank you for the video’s xxx
Looks so delicious Lindz,I'll need to have a go at that,I bought a Chop and Stir utensil from amazon when browning mince for bolognese or chilli and its brilliant it gets the mince so finely chopped,no lumps and its plastic so ideal for the non stick surface, mine has 4 straight blades but I've seen them with 6 curved,it was only about £8.99 ,another great video Xx
Really enjoying your channel Lindz - you have a very natural style of presenting. Just a wink on the potatoes. Cottage Pie is made using minced beef, and with sliced potatoes arranged on top of the meat to resemble tiles on a cottage roof. Shepherd's Pie is made using minced lamb, with the potato piped on top to resemble a sheep's fleece. (Mine are just "throw together and see how it turns out", so we never really have the same thing twice, even though I will call it shepherd's pie every time :D )
G'day Lindz 😊 I hope you're well. I absolutely love this recipe, I do cheesey mashed potatoes on top and me and my husband love it. It's so handy cooking it in the air fryer 😊 sending you love ❤ from Sydney, Australia 🇦🇺 From Kellie
Hi Kellie 👋 Really good to see my videos are reaching as far as Australia 🇦🇺 And that you liked my video. Chessy mash sounds so good must try that 😋 Have a great day x
Just came across your channel and loved this twist on a staple dinner. Ive got the ninja dual but havnt ventured into doing too much but this has given me the inspiration. Ive just subscribed so will be viewing some of your other videos.xx
I haven't cooked anything yet in mine I'm too busy binge watching all your videos for help lol x Ps don't change anything all the subscribers on here have probably signed up because your videos are so real.
Aww, thank you Gina 😊 I'm definitely not overly tech savvy 🤣 It's all about real life here. No fancy filters. I'm currently having microphone issues, so I just hope Tuesdays video will be OK 🤞x
Iv had my Ninja one day and I don’t know fully how to as well , but I enjoyed your efforts and I’m going to try this way cooking cottage pie , keep um coming , looking forward to cooking more with you 😅❤ x uk
I made it, with a few changes. MOF, MOF…minimum of fuss…maximum of flavour!! Yummo! Hard to tell the cost in electricity but I think about 20pence! Thank you!
Hi really like what you do, you should always let the cool down finish because it protects your element & prolongs the life of your air Fryer. Thanks for sharing. Jan.
This was a great video for showing how to work with tools, temp and time. For instance, I didn't''t know I could put in a glass caserole and use "air fry"
Hi Pat 👋 Welcome to the YT family. If you do give it a go, I've started popping my potato slices in the microwave for a few minutes to avoid any sneaky raw bits x
Hi You're answering all my questions right now from appliance, food, and running costs. I even have that energy meter you've just plugged in. Keep up the good work...❤
Hi lovely, thank you for your comment. I do have to say the ninja is a little more power-hungry than others I've now researched due to its wattage. Still cheaper than running a standard oven. I'd love to get another similar model to do a comparison but not in the budget at the moment. Happy cooking and have a great day x
Hi Lindz , just looking at some of your videos, great ideas and very helpful, thank you, I have subscribed to your channel, I have the Ninja 500 with the drawer dividers , x
Hi Jenny 👋 I did consider the flex, but as only a small sink with low fitted tap, the draw wouldn't fit in it to clean. I am planning on changing the tap, hopefully soon. I'm hearing some wonderful things about it, though, so who knows. Happy cooking, lovely, and thank you for being here x
That was interesting. I have thought about using sliced potatoes on the top of a Cottage Pie in the past but have not done it so I am glad to see your efforts. Not entirely convinced it is a good idea though after seeing your results. Worth a try though. Your electrical usage reflects mine in general use.
Hi Andrew 👋 One thing I've changed with this is I now pop my potato slices in the microwave for 2-3 minutes to soften them a bit or can get some sneaky hard bits. Happy cooking with your new machine x
with thin potato slices on top rather than mash i would call this a Lancashire hotpot ,,, Really lovely ,, and nice to see done in an air fryer .. although i would cut the potato as thin as i can ,,, and spray a little oil on top to crisp the top layer of potato in places ,, I do like the idea of cheese though ? I think that may be worth trying ! ,.,First though i must get me an airfryer ,, and that is why i am here watching you ! Fantastic video ! You are a great salesperson? , Ninja should give you a rise
Hi Tony 👋 I've not heard of Lancashire hot pot so thank you for telling me I will say yes to the thinner potato as it can be tricky and I've now started popping them in the microwave for a few minutes as I made one and had a few raw sneaky bits 😀 I wish I worked for ninja I've spent enough buying there products 🤣 x
Thank you for the video. My favourite meal is a chicken stew in the colder months and a tuna pasta salad in the summer. I use the speedi to make the stew, using slow cooker function.
Hi Jacky, I'm starting to long for my winter comfort foods and can't wait to start filming them. I was meant to start this week, but it appears we're having a heat wave 🤣 x
@@LindzandLife yes we are, and I am loving it. Time will come soon enough for the comfort foods. We have long winters. I have the speedi, along with other ninja products, and just made salmon and lemon fish cakes from Aldi, with some fresh veg last night. Oh, and a bit of coleslaw too.
@jackywilliams1336 I'm happy to see the sun back also it's so nice just to sit out with a cuppa. The food is the best part of the cold dark winter months. After hearing what you had for tea I think you'll like Tuesday video 🤞 x
I always use carrots and a can of tomatoes for a beef mince mixture so that I can make a pasta based dish and leave the gravy out. Just gives me an option.
Your way is better because the carrots won’t go soft when the stew is warmed up whereas adding the carrots for the cottage pie means you get a bite from the freshly cooked carrots. Or you could add more tomatoes and some medium curry powder, and some cabbage leaves or spinach.stir in to cook the greens then adjust the thickness to suit the sprinkle with fresh chopped Coriander or some of the spicy salad greens or mint to make it look fresh.
Hey Sue 👋 I'm enjoying filming them I'd lost my want to do much the last few months 😅 The mince is definitely worth a go but to save the faff and extra washing up I'm now just making chips 🤣 Xx
Thank you for the lovely video. I have been wondering the cost of using one of these and you have convinced me to buy one, they look amazing and made some lovely food. Only found your channel yesterday and now i am hooked.
Hi Kevin 👋 I love mine and I've definitely noticed a difference in my energy bills between using a air fryer compared to my oven. My oven is now a storage unit 🤣x
Just wanted to say thank you for the video and mostly for doing it ‘air fryer’as sadly we don’t have a Ninja, we were scammed and couldn’t get another so have a different make. .
Hi Marian 👋 so sorry to hear that Lovely, it's awful to hear, and others have mentioned the same happening 😢 I'm trying to include everyone with recipes as I know most don't have the ninja x
Thanks be to God, your health is good and may it stay! In most dishes that contain potatoes I semi-cook them first anymore. I find that it works a lot better,as those devils don't want to cook completely before the rest of the ingredients otherwise, but yours looked lovely!
Hey lovely your advise is always so helpful and means alot that you share it with us 💜 I've been zapping my potato in the microwave for a few minutes and rightly so cooks so much quicker. Its to warm here at the moment so it's salads and cold potato's and pasta my instant pot is a blessing for them no heating up the kitchen. Hope your doing well and again thank you for being here Xx
@@LindzandLife Yes, the heat hit here, too. For the first time in the 29 years I have been in Kentucky, we had nice Autumnal weather and a bit of a Spring; it's usually too hot or too cold in the part where I am. Once it hits a certain temperature,I simply do not use the oven, which is a wall oven and nicely warms a good portion of the house, when we need it; we don't need that now!
Thankyou, I have really learnt alot and I like the way you present. It keeps things easy and simple. I love the containers you used I have a Ninja 7.6L Duel and I am guessing they would still be appropriate to use in terms of size?
Hi Jane 👋 Unfortunately the 1 little ikea dish doesn't fit in the 7.6l ninja 😕 but I'm trying to find dishes that will fit yours as a lot of people have the model you have. Some have said asda do some. All the times and temperatures would be the same, and you can do most of my recipes straight in the draw hope that helps x
Hi Lulu 👋 I get so excited theses days over cooking and kitchen stuff 🤣 But will only link things that I find actually work and are helpful happy cooking lovely 😊
@@LindzandLife hi Lindz, really glad I stumbled across your channel, just started watching your videos, thought the heathland one’s would be good to start with, and I was right, going to watch all of your vids over the next few days, pretty difficult for u I know, and I feel for you, your content will be good I know, glad I subbed to your channel. Thank you . Have a good weekend. Greetings from Germany 🇩🇪
Hi Lindz, new subscriber and air fryer virgin here, just ordered one. Love your videos, really helped me decide whether or not to get one. Gonna have loads of questions but my first one is... My family love a stir fry, do I take the crisper plates out to do it or leave them in, I don't want to lose the sauce through the crisper plates and make it dry. Thankyou for any advice you can give
Hi Hazel 👋 Any questions always welcome lovely, and I'll try my best to help 💜 Crisper tray out for stir fry 😋 Thank you for being here and happy cooking x
If I was doing it your way I would use a mandolin on it's thinnest setting for the potatoes, but I usually use Knorr mashed potato mix, these are much much better than the old mash means Smash products we used to get and you can't tell the difference these days. I also use Knorr for my other mash dinners because they are always there and don't go to seed.
Hi Graham 👋 A mandolin is on my to get list 😀 I've not heard of the knorr mash but will definitely have a look for it when I'm next shopping as would be handy to have in my stock cupboard. I remember the old smash, and oh no, it was awful 🤣 Thanks for the tips. Have a lovely day x
@@LindzandLife Whilst looking for Knorr in England I find it hard to find they do mash in all their outlets but a good substitute is the Aldi version. I am in Spain where it is easily available.
Hiya lovely excited for you I remember that feeling 😊 I think I was half scared and half inspired to cook takes a bit of getting used to but I'm sure you'll love your new air fryer x
Hi Jill 👋 I absolutely love mine and have noticed a difference in my energy bill. I did start of and still have a single draw cosori which I also love cheaper and again easier on the electricity. All depends on how many your cooking for and needs x
Hi, I very much enjoyed this recipe and will give it a try soon. Just one thing I noticed, why do you put the ingredients in the left draw, you adjust the time and temperature on the right side? Thanks.
Thanks for your reply, although still confused. You used the left side draw and the right side controls? Don't worry, it's not important!! One other question, is that a Pyrex dish and those tongs, where did you get them from?
Hi Going to do your cottage pie looks really good. In your links for the dish it says the 365 dish but also says it does not fit the AF300 which is what you are using so what size is the dish please. many thanks Denis.
You can also do a cheats cottage pie, as I’m 80 and cannot stand for long in the kitchen this is my easy cottage pie, buy some buttery mash from Marks and Spencer’s, brown off your meat, 250g on sear and sauté, I’ve got a Ninja speedi add onion, then add some frozen diced veg like carrots and celery, once meat brown cover the meat with warm water and add a stock pot, cook for 15 mins on mine I did steam and Airfryer, then getting to last 3 mins add gravy browning to thicken, and cook last 3 mins. Then transfer to foil dish that fits your airfryer, allow to stand to cool a little then add mash potatoes, I sliced the mash to fit the foil container, when ready to eat pop in airfryer for 15 mins, with either cheese on top or chopped butter to brown the pots and it comes out lovely. Since having my Ninja Speedl I’ve not used my oven at all, and my Soeedi comes on holiday with us to our caravan. I’ve also invested in a small Cosori 3.4 Ltr airfryer as when cooking roast vegetables they take up a lot of room and they steam while roasting, so I put my roast potatoes in the Cosori airfryer to get them crisp, It gets a bit addictive when you start with an airfryer 😂
Hi Sandra 💜 Thank you for sharing 😊 I bought a ninja speedi last year in the black Friday sales but haven't used it. I'm not sure it's for me after seeing my friend use hers, and the amount of steam it lets out has kinda put me off. Do you find it bad ? Any advice would be much appreciated, but I'm grateful for your tips just in case I decide to keep it x
@@LindzandLife hi, I’ve not found the steam at all a problem, just use it as an airfryer, then there’s no steam, but I use it in place of a frying pan to sear the meat and onions, I airfry some bacon with the trivet in the top position, then sear and sauté the cabbage for a little bit with no extra water other than what’s it’s washed in, then move it over to the steam and steam the cabbage, then chop the bacon into the cabbage. It’s sad not to use it at all it’s better than an ordinary airfryer as it’s so versatile it can do anything. You buy just an airfryer and immediately all veg except roast veg are ruled out it’s also got a slow cooker, which I’ve not used, but mainly I use the airfryer the most and it’s larger than most airfryers on the market because you can take a whole pizza a 10 “ might take larger, but if you get a smaller airfryer it limits the volume immediately, I sit mine on my cooker top, and turn my extractor fan on if I am steaming anything, as I do not use my oven or induction hob since I had it, I just love it, it has to go on holiday with us as well, I cannot live without my airfryer. Please start using it, uou will not regret it.
@sandrawestley4193 Thank you so much Sandra 💓 I think I'll definitely give it a chance now I can see the advantages. I hope you have a lovely weekend x
Hi Liz 👋 I done a video of my honest opinion. After owning it for a while, it might be useful to you. I'm waiting on the new ninja max pro to be delivered. It's a single draw, but with all the same features of the dual and I hope to have a video up on Sunday with my first thoughts and advantage for a single draw air fryer x

I'm glad to have you here Dot ❤️ x
what is the lifting gadget called?@@LindzandLife
Thank you for sharing. I am planning to get my family one of these Ninja air fryers and your videos are very helpful. 😇❤
Hi John 👋 I agree the prices are worrying especially as we need heat so if we can save on the cooking it really helps x
🎉brilliant . No nonsense presentation
Easy to follow
Thanx
Hi I've just received my Ninja Dual air fryer today, I must say I'm very impressed I cooked a lamb shank and roast potatoes and veg in half the time my oven would have cooked it. thanks for sharing you have a new subscriber 🥰xx
Welcome Elaine 💜 I absolutely love lamb of any kind ❤️ Happy cooking lovely x
Thank you, Lindz.... Really great recipe... You are a star!
Thank you Simon 😊 x
I’m a new subscriber to your channel . I love your no nonsense style of video . We bought a Ninja in the last few months and at this rate we are only short of doing the washing up in the Ninja 🤣. Looking forward to new ways of cooking . Keep it up
I am a new subscriber to your channel,I have only just bought my Ninja dual 3000, so I am a complete novice. I love your easy to follow demonstrations and down to earth approach. I am going to definitely have a go at this. X
Great video Linds. Am a massive Ninja fan, have the speedi which i love and recently just got the chopper as well.
Lovely view btw 😜
hey , you just got a new fan...
i have watched two of your videos... so so natural and just an awesome way you deliver the message... real life...more like this
Big Hugs and thanks

Hi Cindy 👋 Just a tip lovely wizz the potatoes through the microwave for 2 odd minutes really speeds up the cooking. Happy cooking 😊x
Hi Cindy, I'm thinking of getting an AF. How do you do your fish please. Time/temperature etc? xx
Hi Ricky 💜 I bought something that sounds the same but was in a cheapy shop and not the best quality 😅 I must have a look online x
Just discovered your channel. It's great! Also like the way u got your hair my lovely. ❤. Ha ha! 😂.
Hi fran 💜 I knew the difference with meats I just never knew about the potato topping thank you for sharing 😊 I love learning anything new ❤️ x
G'day Lindz 😊 I hope you're well. I absolutely love this recipe, I do cheesey mashed potatoes on top and me and my husband love it. It's so handy cooking it in the air fryer 😊 sending you love ❤ from Sydney, Australia 🇦🇺
From Kellie
Hi Kellie 👋 Really good to see my videos are reaching as far as Australia 🇦🇺 And that you liked my video. Chessy mash sounds so good must try that 😋 Have a great day x
Top job Lass, definately gonna try that! Cheers ma'dear
Thank you Andy x
Could watch you all day❤
Thank you Ray 😊 x
good stuff i'll be trying that.
Just came across your channel and loved this twist on a staple dinner. Ive got the ninja dual but havnt ventured into doing too much but this has given me the inspiration.
Ive just subscribed so will be viewing some of your other videos.xx
Hi Pam 👋 Thank you for being here 💗 Happy cooking x
Great video thank you so much for Sharing this yumee Recipe. Take care 🥰
Thank you Mr Bevelvis x
I haven't cooked anything yet in mine I'm too busy binge watching all your videos for help lol x Ps don't change anything all the subscribers on here have probably signed up because your videos are so real.
Aww, thank you Gina 😊 I'm definitely not overly tech savvy 🤣 It's all about real life here. No fancy filters. I'm currently having microphone issues, so I just hope Tuesdays video will be OK 🤞x
Where do you get the metal grabber to pull the glass dish out of the air fryer please? xx
Iv had my Ninja one day and I don’t know fully how to as well , but I enjoyed your efforts and I’m going to try this way cooking cottage pie , keep um coming , looking forward to cooking more with you 😅❤ x uk
Thank you, Grant. It takes a little time to get used to. I find keeping notes helps 😊 x
I made it, with a few changes. MOF, MOF…minimum of fuss…maximum of flavour!! Yummo! Hard to tell the cost in electricity but I think about 20pence! Thank you!
I like that minimum effort max flavour 👌 x
Hi really like what you do, you should always let the cool down finish because it protects your element & prolongs the life of your air Fryer. Thanks for sharing. Jan.
Hi Jan 👋 I normally do just when I'm filming it can be a pain. I hope you have a lovely weekend x
I love my roast tbh I’ve recently bought the ninja flexi draw and oh wow it’s awesome my oven and grill have gone into retirement now totally
Love your video , watching you for the first time, now I will be looking for your videos, love you a lot 🥰❤️
Thank you Raymond x
Loved the video
Thank you, William 😊 x
This was a great video for showing how to work with tools, temp and time. For instance, I didn't''t know I could put in a glass caserole and use "air fry"
I'm glad it was helpful! Doug, thanks for being here x
Hi Again My Luvly, I'm going to try this tonight but as a Shepherds pie (Mash) Thanks for sharing, I hope you're well x
Hi John, I've also done a mash version on here, so I hope it helps. Enjoy your dinner and happy cooking x
Loved your. Video, can’t wait to try this, where do you get the thing to get the hot dish out please?
Thanks for sharing your great videos. May I ask why you prefer to cook on max crisp? Thanks
😊 a new member looks absolutely delicious must try to do it that way
Hi Pat 👋 Welcome to the YT family. If you do give it a go, I've started popping my potato slices in the microwave for a few minutes to avoid any sneaky raw bits x
Hi
You're answering all my questions right now from appliance, food, and running costs.
That’s awesome I’m gonna put some cheese on mine two after it’s cooked then bk in airfryer
Just subscribed to your channel cottage pie looks lovely will try that thanks for sharing xx
That was interesting. I have thought about using sliced potatoes on the top of a Cottage Pie in the past but have not done it so I am glad to see your efforts. Not entirely convinced it is a good idea though after seeing your results. Worth a try though.
Your electrical usage reflects mine in general use.
Hi James 👋 I must say I do prefer my mash version. Thanks for watching x
Yummy 😋 I want some.
I have the same air fryer coming tomorrow 😊 Definitely going to try this 😊😊😊
Hi Andrew 👋 One thing I've changed with this is I now pop my potato slices in the microwave for 2-3 minutes to soften them a bit or can get some sneaky hard bits. Happy cooking with your new machine x
@LindzandLife ok thankyou 😁😁😁
with thin potato slices on top rather than mash i would call this a Lancashire hotpot ,,, Really lovely ,, and nice to see done in an air fryer .. although i would cut the potato as thin as i can ,,, and spray a little oil on top to crisp the top layer of potato in places ,, I do like the idea of cheese though ? I think that may be worth trying ! ,.,First though i must get me an airfryer ,, and that is why i am here watching you ! Fantastic video ! You are a great salesperson? , Ninja should give you a rise
Hi Tony 👋 I've not heard of Lancashire hot pot so thank you for telling me I will say yes to the thinner potato as it can be tricky and I've now started popping them in the microwave for a few minutes as I made one and had a few raw sneaky bits 😀 I wish I worked for ninja I've spent enough buying there products 🤣 x
I must say you are looking very well I wish you good health in the future and keep cooking all the best from Geno
just found youre channel love what you i was looking for air recipes thanks
Hi Jason 👋 I'm glad you like my content 😊 Happy cooking x
I really enjoy your videos Linz definitely going to try the Shepherd's pie in my new air fryer.
Hi Sarah 👋 I'm actually making the mash version for tonight's dinner x
Hi Leon 👋 I often make up a batch of just mince and onion so I can adjust it after it's a great time saver x
Looks yummy!! Loving watching these vids Lindz xx
Hey Sue 👋 I'm enjoying filming them I'd lost my want to do much the last few months 😅 The mince is definitely worth a go but to save the faff and extra washing up I'm now just making chips 🤣 Xx
Thanks for your reply I'm going to get one for Christmas
Thank you for the lovely video. I have been wondering the cost of using one of these and you have convinced me to buy one, they look amazing and made some lovely food. Only found your channel yesterday and now i am hooked.
Hi Kevin 👋 I love mine and I've definitely noticed a difference in my energy bills between using a air fryer compared to my oven. My oven is now a storage unit 🤣x
Loved the video, very well explained. Something to have a go at 👍☺️❤️
Thank you lovely x
@@LindzandLife credit where credit is due ☺️ ❤️
Lovely, but not a cottage pie with sliced potatoes, Lancashire hot pot has sliced potatoes
@alunlambert7456 Hi Alun 👋 To me a Lancashire hotpot is made of lamb/mutton chunks. Isn't it great how we all have our own recipes x
@@LindzandLife it is mate, and with sliced potatoes
Going tocootisoverte weekend! Looks tasty.x
Very useful links. Thank you.👍
This looks delicious, I've ordered everything you've linked in the description box, I'm subsribed 🙂
Hi Lulu 👋 I get so excited theses days over cooking and kitchen stuff 🤣 But will only link things that I find actually work and are helpful happy cooking lovely 😊
Going to def try this recipe ❤
Looks good, might give it a try myself. Greetings from Germany 🇩🇪
Hi Michael 👋 Quick tip pop the potatoe slices in the microwave for 2 minutes makes them cook quicker in the Air fryer hope you have a great weekend 😀
@MichaelSmith-lb4kv aww thats so lovely of you Michael thanks again for being here 😊 Happy cooking x
Hi Linz I just love your videos I'm going to make the cottage pie later have a nice day my lovely 💗♥️💕
Hi lovely, I'm so glad you had a go ( from another comment somewhere 💜) x
Hi Lindz, new subscriber and air fryer virgin here, just ordered one. Love your videos, really helped me decide whether or not to get one. Gonna have loads of questions but my first one is... My family love a stir fry, do I take the crisper plates out to do it or leave them in, I don't want to lose the sauce through the crisper plates and make it dry. Thankyou for any advice you can give
Hi Hazel 👋 Any questions always welcome lovely, and I'll try my best to help 💜 Crisper tray out for stir fry 😋 Thank you for being here and happy cooking x
I make this regularly in the winter, but I call it hot pot lol x
Hi Glenda 👋 My version of hotpot is made with lamb/mutton chunks. I love how we all have our own version for different recipes 😀 x
Hi I love watching you keep it coming please I am new to this I have only just got my ninja .
Thank you Linda 💜 I hope you have a lovely weekend and Happy cooking x
Omg it looks amazing. I will make it for sure next week for dinner.
Hiya Patricia 💕 It's definitely lovely I've made just the mince on its own then chips less work 😀 Xx
I Bought it yesterday first air fryer in my life 😂same model only waiting it to arrive today quite excited to try it. Thank you for your video ❤
Hiya lovely excited for you I remember that feeling 😊 I think I was half scared and half inspired to cook takes a bit of getting used to but I'm sure you'll love your new air fryer x
Hi. That looks delicious. Will try it out. How many litres is your air fryer? I think mine is a bit smaller.
Hi Eleni 👋 Mine, is the AF451UK 9.5L x
Looks really good will certainly try it Where did you get the gadget you lifted your dish out of the air fryer with I must get one
Hi Gwen 👋 The lifter is my number 1 tool for my air fryer the link is in the description lovely x
Hi, cracking video, I`m just about to order my Ninja like yours, and I luv the Ikea dishes idea, where did you buy the gadget for lifting them out. x
Thank you 😊 The stainless steel dish lifer is from amazon its linked in the description under the video x
Thanks for that Lindz
@GM7LSI You're welcome John 😊 have a great weekend x
@@LindzandLife Thanks Lindz, bye the way, we are just loving our Ninja, what a difference to the Tefal paddle one we have 😊
Iv only got my airfreight and a. Always looking for recipes and tips
We did our first ever sausage dinner yesterday and jacket potato today
Hi ...where did u get the 22:21 lifting out thingy from ...looks magic !
Hi Mike 👋 I got it from amazon I've linked it in the description 😀 There much better than the plastic handle ones and cheap have a great Monday
Hi after watching you I'm thinking now of getting one u are cooking food I love and eat thank you
Hi Jill 👋 I absolutely love mine and have noticed a difference in my energy bill. I did start of and still have a single draw cosori which I also love cheaper and again easier on the electricity. All depends on how many your cooking for and needs x
Thank you for sharing 👍
Hi Lindz ,i am new to your channel and really enjoying your cooking ,thank you so much 😊
Hi Kikki 👋 Thank you for being here 💗 x
Hi, I very much enjoyed this recipe and will give it a try soon.
Just one thing I noticed, why do you put the ingredients in the left draw, you adjust the time and temperature on the right side?
Thanks.
Hi Les, The time controls on my ninja are there. I know all airfryers are different and can be confusing x
Thanks for your reply, although still confused. You used the left side draw and the right side controls? Don't worry, it's not important!!
One other question, is that a Pyrex dish and those tongs, where did you get them from?
Enjoyed your video. Have subscribed. ♥️
Thank you, Sandy 💜 x
Looks lovely where's mine x
It was salad today but did do crispy bacon in the ninja 🤣 Xx
This is yummy ❤
Loved your. Video, can’t wait to try this, where do you get the thing to get the hot dish out please? 22:21
Hi Tarnia 👋 It's from amazon. I've linked it in the description ( the show more bit) x
Hi Going to do your cottage pie looks really good. In your links for the dish it says the 365 dish but also says it does not fit the AF300 which is what you are using so what size is the dish please.
many thanks Denis.
Hi Denis 👋 The ninja I'm using is the AF451UK it's a little bigger than than 300 model x
Im watching your cooking with the ninja as iim thinking of getting one but theres so many to choose from. Have you found any disadvantages yet?
Hi Liz 👋 I done a video of my honest opinion. After owning it for a while, it might be useful to you. I'm waiting on the new ninja max pro to be delivered. It's a single draw, but with all the same features of the dual and I hope to have a video up on Sunday with my first thoughts and advantage for a single draw air fryer x
