When my dad had plenty of runner beans from the allotment we use to come home to a big plate of runner beans with butter on and 2 slices of crispy bacon on top and a couple of slices of crusty bread (salt and pepper ) who it was Lovley .enjoyed the video Kerry thanks
Evening again Kerry lol. Harrison said "thank you very much Kerry and so glad your boys are cooking, hope you show us what they make" I'm going to attempt to make this in my ninja speedi. Thanks again Kerry for sharing Harrison's cooking, he was so happy with the results and I was happy to have my dinner made for me with a tasty treat also. You should have poured yourself a glass of that wine, we wouldn't have told anyone 😉. That looked delicious Kerry, thank you again for another budget meal idea xxx ❤💚
The Cottage pies turned out so fabulous! 😋 I used some thawed frozen peas as well, turned out perfect for my first attempt in an air-fryer. Cooked them in two separate trays, with sharp cheddar mixed into the mash, at 15 min each at 350’F…Perfecto! Muchas gracias for your help. My friend from Bournemouth 🏴 was very appreciative to eat his first Cottage Pie in 7 years. 👍
Oh that's lovely Don😀👍👍💕 it's such delicious comfort food😋😋. It's an absolute pleasure Don. Have you ever had Toad in the hole? That's a good british staple too. Cosori DB cooks it v well, straight in with crisper plate out
@@budgetcookinguk Thats an excellent suggestion. 😋 Another dish that my mom made. Sourcing the sausages here in the Southern CR area would be difficult. I could possibly use some American style frozen breakfast sausages that are available in the stores, but the CR style of sausage is really not suitable for Toad in the hole. I’ll definitely continue to look around. Thanks for the suggestion.
That looks so tasty Kerry,we always buy Morrisons 5% mince but I get 15% off so that helps with the budget, there certainly isn't much you can't cook in an air fryer, another great video, don't know why I missed this one Xx
Absolutely Brilliant could almost smell that beautiful dinner!! DOH!! learnt something . . . use without the inner basket!! Why did I not think of that. Keep up the great work. 💕🏴
thank you. love to watch your cooking. My daughter bought an airfryer and you helped me a lot with your recipes. I lost my fear in innovating (?) with ingredients i can get in my country. once again, thank you 🙏
2nd page. I’m going to cook mine separately in aluminum trays. I have a British friend from Bournemouth and we both miss these comfort food dishes from home. I only have an air fryer at my home in Uvita, CR. Thanks for the demonstration and instructions.
@@budgetcookinguk It’s been an adventure so far today. I’m trying a new beef gravy recipe as well, lots of fresh vegetables, plus Chardonnay wine, beef broth etc. I thought I’d add a little extra side gravy to the Cottage Pie if my friend wants some, or myself. 😄
Hola. You’ve inspired me to cook the Cottage Pie in the Air Fryer. Im from Canada, but I retired and now live in Costa Rica. My mom moved to Canada from Liverpool after the war and cooked a Cottage Pie regularly for her family of 4, which I was one of them.
Hi Don, your mum bought traditional uk recipes with her that's so lovely. A cottage pie is a big favourite here (cottage pie if its beef, shepherds pie if its lamb mince) my gt gt Uncle emigrated to canada (pre world war one - joined the Canadian regiment Cameroon Highlanders in 1914) 👋😀💕
Tasty 😋 Kerry. Never thought of using the basket like that. Good idea. Where would we be without our air fryer? Good to hear your boys have taken to trying some of your recipes.
Great idea cooking directly in the pan!Recently when making meals with mince, I've been adding some red split lentils to stretch it even further. In things like bolognese and mince curry, you don't even notice it!! Thanks Kerry x
Hi Kerry a very tasty meal, i think the cosori is very versatile, it's a lot better than doing it on the hob and all the mess to clean up, where with the cosori a quick soak and it's dead simple to clean. I've been getting some individual foil pie containers, i think i'll make the cottage pie in there, then i can freeze the the spare ones
My late sister in law who was a very good cook,, she was chosen to cook six fruit cakes, for the wedding of the now King Charles and Queen Camilla, told me not to blanch green beans before freezing them, then they would be like fresh and not go soft .
Great recipe, saves on dishes. Potato peeling make the best crisps, toss in a little oil, salt and paprika(optional) airfry on 200 until crispy. Never again will I not use the whole potato.👍x
Hi Kerry, that looked so tasty, yep got to have cheese on the top😁 hhmm I reckon that red wine needed tasting😂 great to do it all in the air fryer. The beans, great idea but will cook a little before like you suggest. What a haul, they will freeze down nicely. Hope you enjoyed the rest of the wine😜 See you on the next one, Byee 👋Jen 💕😘xx
My god but that looks tasty, sadly I’m suffering with gall stones waiting to have them removed so any fat at all would cause pain but as soon as they’re gone I’m trying this 😀👍
Hi Kerry, thanks for another inspiringly good video. I have made lots of your recipes. As others have said, the sound was low on this one. Looking forward to the next one x
I need more info Stuart: temp, setting, time etc. My roast chicken always come out juicy! I cook mine on roast, 180c, upside down at first for 1st 30mins then right way up 30mins after (in the ninja) 1.6kg extra large
I don’t like the bistro in the cardboard tub, but have you tried the bistro in the glass jar. That’s very different snd really tasty. Also doesn’t clot up snd it is. Available in lots of flavours. Good idea doing direct into the air fryer. Maybe your runner beans could be done in the pressure cooker of your ninja. That sounds good. I know you cooked on bake, do you think to cook on roast would be ok.? Just a thought really.
Hi Tina, thank you😃👍 its lidl beef gravy👍(usd to be 79p 300g now about £1.19 I think) I prefer it to bisto which I find you need a lot of granules to get it to thicken so runs out quickly plus its pricier!
ever thought of steaming the beans in the microwave I use 1 pint plastic pudding basins with the lid on loose do my small new potatoes and small green veg experiments required for different veg
May God bless you, you absolute kind Soul. May your family be pleased with your sweet heart.

@@donmorrow1923 oh sorry Don, I forgot the US lack 'proper' sausages 🥴 oops. Crazy really, they don't know what they're missing!
Could you do everything in the ninja dual draw on a smaller scale. Looked delicious!
Maris piper are my favourite potatoes to air fry xx

Great minds think alike! I love red lentils in a veggie bolognese sauce!! Definitely makes it so close to a mincey bolognese sauce 😃👍💕

Just watching this at 11.15am on Saturday. It’s making me hungry! Is it too early for lunch😂
Ooo you were close, more a brunch💕💕
This looks so tasty and got me wondering if anyone has cooked a casserole/stew type dish in air fryer pleasex
So good we saw it twice! lol x
Aww thank you for watching twice Maggie! Flippin audio I mucked up, luckily fixable 😎👍💕💕💕
People forget air fryers are dehydration monsters. Dried up a roast chicken last week. More water needed obviously.
I need more info Stuart: temp, setting, time etc. My roast chicken always come out juicy! I cook mine on roast, 180c, upside down at first for 1st 30mins then right way up 30mins after (in the ninja) 1.6kg extra large

Hiya, looks really good. What instant gravy do you use as some of them that I’ve tried are really bland. Love to watch you, many thanks x

Looks yummy 😋 how was cleaning after the pie came out the airfyer? Xx
My Cosori won't operate if I take the basket out . Also, the base is much different. The size is the same.
Mine doesn't operate if basket is out either
