Yeah, that's because MBS is playing games with Iran, Russia and China. Pisses me off because we have more than enough oil and natural gas here in the US to be self-sufficient, but we still pay international rates artificially driven up by the games played by medieval desert caravan raiders.

I always appreciate a fellow car guy. Here in America, we have to pre pay at the pump. The fact that you do not says a lot about your society and the fact that people don't steal gas like they do here in the USA. I live in Cheyenne, Wyoming and the cost of gas here today was $3.09 for 85 octane. We only have up to 91 Octane here which is $3.66 a gallon at this moment. My 74 Camaro would appreciiate the 95 octane! I try not to let my tanks go below three quarter. I feel like I am paying less then
Yes, the price of gasoline is going up in the USA. I live in California USA. And so is everything. Last year, I paid $3.60 USD for one gallon. This morning I paid $4.49 at the same gas station.
So, basically 1 liter is $2.20 USD for 92! octane. This is vastly cheaper than it is here in the USA since everything happened over there last year. Our food is outrageously higher than it has ever been.
@@rm6857 RM. there is a reason some things "seem" to be cheaper...their INCOME is one third as ours. sooo, they spend a higher percentage of their income per item...or per gallon. do i need to explain more in detail? its simply called "local economics"...coca-cola is cheaper in GHANA for the same reason.
We in Michigan pay almost 4.00 a gallon. Gas is just under 5 dollars where I live in Southern California. If I go to the coastal cities it can climb to 6. It’s outrageous and California charges more than any other state due to the additives and seasonal formula changes.
How many miles roughly in the USA do you get to the gallon? A gallon is 7 euro in Ireland but cars get about 35, 40 - 50 miles to the gallon depending on car, or city v motorway driving..
In New Brunswick gas is $1.67/L ~Diesel $1.88/L vs March 2022 gas $1.79/L ~ Diesel $2.00/L. We hit higher prices last fall, but they seem to be slowly coming down. (Canadian prices) Thanks for sharing 🇨🇦
I can't get over how much the gas station, including the convenience store part inside where you paid, looked just like the ones here in the U.S., maybe even a little cleaner. I don't know what I was expecting.
cleaner???? really??? are you nuts???? have you been to rural russia or maybe just outside moscow or st. petersburg? i have. not only are they NOT cleaner, but thyey are slowly being run down. once a gas station opens, it is never maintained. before you make general statements after seeing just 1 gas station...you better know what you are talking about.

Hello Dan! I notice the trees behind you are full of flowers; I love this time of year. Top price I've paid this year for gas, $6.99 US Dollars per gallon. (San Diego, California, USA) I don't know the Rubles/Dollar exchange. Thank you for working that out, I'd need a calculator. Like a lot of people joke, "It's time to buy a horse." Good to see you arrived safely. Gas pre sanction was $3 $4 per gallon, after sanctions it went up to almost $7. (Who is sanctioning who?) Can't wait until it settles down around here. It's hard enough to just make a living without war going on. Bless you, Dan! Take care!
In California we will not be able to buy a gas powered vehicle by 2035. For an EV, we will have to pay high electric prices plus a new tax, called the mileage tax. So even if you have solar, you will be subject to the mileage tax.
In Los Angeles California, gas is $4.60/gallon. Google says state tax is 50 cents a gallon. Prices have come down in the past year. I have paid up to $7/gallon a year ago.
In central Texas (Killeen), lowest price at one station (QT), $2.75 a gallon for 87 octane. All around it’s between $2.90 - $3.19 for the same. Prices have been fluctuating, highest price $4.79 in 2022. We’re glad it’s down right now. Love y’all’s videos, greatly enjoyed your travel vlogs, glad the earthquakes weren’t in the towns you were in, happy that you’ve arrived home safely. Hi Dan and Suzi, I enjoyed your video, as always ;) here in Eagle River Alaska the gas is average $3.75 a gallon. Mainly because there are no refineries here, so the crude oil gets shipped from Valdez pipeline terminal, to California to a refinery, then shipped back to Alaska as gasoline.
What always cracks me up is the old saying that the closer you live to a refinery, the cheaper your fuel should be. With 4 in the Bay Area of California, I should be paying pennies, being only 5hrs away. But the opposite is true😂 Friends in Iowa, Minnesota, and Alaska pay FAR less than I do! Right now, our cheapest is 4.99/gal. It always makes me laugh to hear how little you in Alaska (a state known to have higher prices for many items) are paying so much less😊
@@denni7173 I would like to think gas would be cheaper than what it is here in Alaska. With the “North Slope” refineries here, plenty of oil being produced… it’s RIGHT HERE and I think the same as you, gas should be pocket change but gas prices are high especially during the pandemic. I say high because I’m familiar with gas prices in the east coast! Wayyy cheaper than the west coast!
@@denni7173 I'm also in the SF Bay area. Gas in California is so expensive because of all the "add-on" fees that are included in the gas price at the pump.
So glad to see you out and about. You will be happy to know that your gasoline prices are still SO MUCH LOWER than here. Last price I saw was $3.49 per gallon for lowest price here in San Antonio, Texas. It changes almost daily. 😮 Stay safe and love to you, Susie and Sati baby. ❤❤

In Austria you will pay between € 1,52 to € 1,62 per litre for 95 Octane. The price for 98 Octane is round 1,72 per litre. Prices vary depending on the time of day and days of the week. They are usually cheapest on Saturdays.
@@IdahoPohTaToh omg idaho. ah the mind of uneducated americans. ok , i will walk you through it. Since the price per gallon in russia is $2.60 with NO taxes in their price, in order to compare oranges to oranges you have to take the price YOU pay per gallon and subtract taxes...NOW you have an equal comparison. IF your state or community added taxes per gallon,,,well, that is YOUR fault, They could have easily added the taxes you wanted to a gallon of milk, but they didn't.
i'm in Milwaukee, Wisconsin USA $3.19 a gallon 92octane... and yes there's been huge inflation on practically everything with no end in sight..i appreciate your videos, really gives me a better perspective...
Today's exchange rate = 81₽ per $1 Gasoline is $3.35/gallon (73₽/liter) today here in central Virginia. Those mountains in the background look pretty great BTW.
Hello and Good Day Dan!! Today I paid $2.91 per gallon for 92 Octane. Our prices will be going very high (in USA) very soon - determined by the price of a barrel of Saudi Oil.
I got 92 at $2.91 a gallon today in Ohio USA. That’s with fuel discounts from grocery store. Pump reads $3.45 without discount. Going up by the end of the week.
Thanks Dan! I just completed a 1,000 mile drive from Florida to Indiana. The cheapest price I saw last Thursday was at a Walmart in Hanson, Kentucky. It was $2.98 per gallon. On our way back yesterday it was $3.03 per gallon for the lowest octane they sell.
You don't really have a choice. You need to use the octane rating your car is tuned for, which is indicated in the owner's manual. Most N. American vehicles are tuned for 87 octane, but high compression and turbocharged vehicles may need higher. The wrong octane can cause performance, economy, and longevity issues. 92 octane is pretty high for a normal passenger vehicle, and I don't think 95 is available at most N. American gas stations.
@@dougbrowning82 With a 125 year motoring history, we basically have everything the world has to offer. The option of 95 octane only, I speculate, is purely a government / oil company decision.
Enjoyed the video. Just paid $3.59 USD/gal for mid-grade gas (89-90 octane) in suburb of Detroit, Michigan, USA (the “motor city”). However, many other items such as food, household goods and clothing prices are higher.
Hi Susie and Dan here in Brisbane Australia our petrol prices fluctuate between $1.80-$2.20 AUD. Everything else food, housing, rent has risen quite significantly over the past 12 months some things more than others. I would say everything has gone up by at least 20-30% compared to pre covid. Hello my friends. So happy to see you!! Prices in the USA for gasoline varies depending on the region/states you live in. Currently where I am, the price for 1 gallon of gas is $3.19. The prices go up and down,of course, because of the seasons.
Hi Dan, in the UK , one American Gallon costs 7$ but in the UK, we use Imperial Gallons and 1 UK Gallon is 4.55 liters and that would cost $8.41. It is a very high price but it is cheaper than it was 6 months ago.

Sadly, it's not a product one can stock up on. 😕
In Dulith Minnesota USA $3.29 per gallon of 87 octane gasoline, $4.09 per gallon of 91 octane gasoline, and finally $4.09 per gallon of diesel fuel! God bless you and yours real good. We are praying for peace. We enjoy your content my friend!!! Happy Easter! Jesus Christ is Risen!
Just found out that OPEC is cutting production, and we can expect another price increase. Right now in my city, Appleton, Wisconsin, the price is $3.19 for 95 octane. It has been bouncing around for the past several months. Please keep more of your wonderful videos coming!
That's a lot cheaper than our gas per gallon in USA. Here in NW Florida it is $3.89 gallon. Cost approximately $63 USD to fill my truck up and about $42 USD to fill up our small car. Glad you are all doing well so far. Keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers for safety. God bless! P.S. When Trump was President it was $1.89 USD a gallon. How times have changed, for the worse.
Dan, keep in mind we in the US usually buy regular unleaded which is cheapest at 87 octane and in most places is mixed with ethanol You are buying 92 octane which in the US we call premium gasoline which can be around 15 to 20 cents higher a gallon! So when people in here are comparing the prices most are using our cheap gasoline for comparison!
You guys are still doing way better on fuel costs than we are here in the States. I hope our countries' governments can grow up and make peace between them soon.
Will never be the case. As long as there are borders and oceans people will fight over them. Has been happening since the Neanderthals we're just another animal like the rest of them with a little to much brain.
Not sure exactly what percentage things are up here in Canada, but I know for sure that several items I used to buy are now double. Many people here are feeding their families much lower quality, less nutritious food because they can't afford the higher prices. There is a lot of controversy as stores are showing huge profits (with customers buying far less), yet saying they're not gouging. Apparently, they're still putting the same profit margin (not sure if that's the right way to say it) in that they're still making the same percentage, but pocketing that amount based on much higher cost of items. How is that not gouging?
@@candykane4271 absolutely that's the start of it, but the stores pocketing more money when customers are already struggling isn't ok in my book. If they made say $.50 on an item before, they might now be making $1 & they're bragging about their profits.
In my area (in Wisconsin, US) the current gas price for 92 octane was $3.39 for 1 gallon, but this gas also contains somewhere approx 15% ethanol (so less fuel efficient). It's difficult to find gasoline that doesn't contain ethanol. Prices for gasoline, over the past year have gone up/down/up/down but now they are going up/up/up & are expected to continue to climb.

Yes, the price of gasoline is going up in the USA. I live in California USA. And so is everything. Last year, I paid $3.60 USD for one gallon. This morning I paid $4.49 at the same gas station.
I remember last year northern California in bay aera it was in excess of $6.50 a gallon, and briefly hit $7
So, basically 1 liter is $2.20 USD for 92! octane. This is vastly cheaper than it is here in the USA since everything happened over there last year. Our food is outrageously higher than it has ever been.
if you calculate life cost, basically everything is cheaper in Russia, just our western governments telling us its so good here, and russia is bad.

I live in Florida and the average price of everything from food to utilities has gone up over 25 percent in the last year.
All fuel related….maybe oranges shouldn’t go up in Florida
