My heart breaks at the condition of this world, the push for power and greed that rains down hate and division on us. And just a little hint at how we ALL in the world could connect in peace if our politicians would stop fighting for power and person gain. I am in America because my family fled the Pogroms in Russia. Had things been different, we could have been neighbors. Sigh. But SO glad to see we are all still connecting!!!!

That's awesome! I tried to mail my friend a package to Russia from the US. They said that their system wouldn't let me. They tried to do it, but the system rejected it. :( So when I went to Mexico the next time a few months later, I mailed it from Tulum. I was so sad and upset that I couldn't mail to Russia. I hate these stupid ass sanctions.

I actually have moved, and I live on the East Coast. (But. I was born in Hawaii, and grew up there. My mother’s mother was a picture bride from Okinawa… back in 1916, I think. Thank you for caring. No one in my family was in that terrible fire.
