Sometimes homeless people have more compassion than regular citizens tbh. This was so heartwarming

They are regular, and citizens. They're just homeless. But I get what you were saying.
Because they have been to the bottom of life and know what it's like. Do good to others and others shall do good to you.
Sometimes? How about always. People end up homeless because they are too intelligent, too sensitive, too independent, or too creative to fit into the sad, oddfellow society we have created. Drugs and alcohol are how people escape the misery, scorn, contempt, and pitiless cruelty shown to anyone who is different.

Some people may be forced into it just because of covid, some have done wrong and done better in their lives. Some do what they can knowing they may not fit back into society so well or do the best they can to get back to regular society. But what's regular? You and me watching this on our $700+ phones? Thanks for the response and I mean it but homeless doesn't mean bad. We all could be one step away. Anything can happen. Stay safe wash your hands and dont worry about covid all things in time will pass.

Hard to believe after watching videos of people throwing punches over TP
There is a LOT of nice people around. The rush of daily life make us to ignore them. But they are there. The current situation is going to take the god out of good people and the bad from bad people. It's a good opportunity to see who is a true friend. I'm both positive and terrified.
Quite often it is those who have the least that will give the most to others.

My a car broke down on the way to work right at a stop light in downtown seattle. My hubby was on his way. I was trying to push it into a parking lot right across the intersection but failed miserably not a single person stopped or offered to help me they just honked and yelled at me even a police officer drove past me. Then out of nowhere a young man probably 18 or 19 pulled up on a bike he said he saw me struggling while on the bus heading to work. Got to work and rode a bike back to help me! He was my angel I couldn't thank him enough I hugged him and offered to pay him for his time and he said that wasn't necessary he was just happy he could help. I couldn't help but cry it was so touching that a young man went out of his way to help me. I told him he restored my faith in humanity.

Back in maybe 2003 I used to drive my mom to work early in the morning, still in my pajamas, then go home to get ready for work myself. I saw a lady struggling to push her car off the road, and everyone just passing her by. So I got stopped and got out in my pjs and Eeyore slippers and helped her push her car. She was so thankful too.
Good to hear when things work out that way. I'd love to think anyone who'd approach me is a good samaritan just looking to help, but I'm pretty wary of strangers especially at night and especially since I'm a small woman. Unfortunately you never know if someone is completely harmless or if they have less than good intentions no matter how nice they seem.
Wow. Homeless guy used his own money to help out a stranger? That a real nice guy. Hope his life changes for the better 🙏

Never judge people by their appearance. A homeless man on a bicycle stopped to help the stranded motorist with flashers on while hundreds of people in cars with their religious stickers on the back, drove right on by. Kudos's to the policeman.
See the best spirit in those with what we perceive to be nothing.
you also can't say no one stopped for help. they could have stopped, the lady says she already has help, and they drive off, and when the cop comes it looks like a traffic stop. don't judge a situation by its appearance either.

A cigarette can 'barely' ignite gasoline (i.e. only when actually smoked), so in these snowy conditions nothing is going to happen by accident.
It's not like in the movies. Try it. Pour some gas onto some concrete then immediately throw a lit cigarette on it. Doesn't ignite.
It takes an open flame to ignite gas. There's not enough heat energy in a cigarette coal to do it.

Just love these moments. The most important thing we can do is treat everybody with kindness and respect. If we do that, ultimately the world will be a better place.

I don't think its insensitive, she was cautious. I wouldn't trust anyone with a gas can and my own money. How was she supposed to know he was homeless? "a guy on a bike" is what she saw.
@@GamerGoop My mom had a guy show up to her house, say he broke down and wanted to borrow a gas can, and he never came back with it. People do things like that.
We never heard how much she paid him. From my experiences rich people rarely give money away, she probably paid the homeless guy the cost of gas ($2.50), I would've paid him $20 cash minimum. But only after he came back with the gas.
Crazy world where it’s illegal to keep pets out in the freezing, yet we have millions of homeless in that position with nowhere to go. Godbless that man.

Some of the homeless people have the best hearts. I believe they try to help others when they can just because they know how it feels and appreciates it when they TOO need it. NOT all... but some.

I always say just because a person is homeless doesn't mean they are out to harm others...I gave a homeless man a ride to the homeless shelter last week. He was very kind and told me and my kids to come get food clothes and sit and have soup at the shelter whenever. God bless the cop, the lady and the homeless gentleman!
