I still found myself memorizing the boss's moves, but I am happy that the game wants you to try new builds. Sure, you can git gud and memorize the boss and try to master dodging every single attack. However, you might miss out on trying somethings new. Maybe you were a tank, but now you need to be a speedy boi. I love that, and I've found myself having fun with all of my builds. In ER, sure you can respect with how many larval tears they throe at you, but you cant get all of your smithing stones back. Sure, you can buy most of them eventually, but respec/maxxing weapons isn't really an option early game.
I am not a mech guy, so I always ignored the series. Always played King's Field and then Souls instead. Would still have preferred a new KF but I might buy Ac6 for 50% in the future. Currently saving for Lies of P and Lords of the Fallen instead
As someone who absolutely was not interested in AC at all - and was only going to cover it for the channel - I personally would recommend you give it a try. If you beat the helicopter boss and don't start to enjoy the game I'll be shocked. That feeling of everything starting to click and overcoming challenges, and that fluid movement and combat is incredibly similar to souls, but in my opinion its only something you can understand by playing the game, because for me I wasn't interested at all even by watching vaati and other channels
Excellent review ! It"s the lead of Sekiro and Bloodborne, Masaru Yamamura behind the Team of Armored core 6. They did an oustanding work once again !
