@@ItsAllGoodFishing if you can cast a right hand bait caster then you can cast a left hand bait caster. The only difference is you don’t pass the rod and real to your left hand. You just hold it in your right hand cast the same and crank with your left hand. I found this out by mistake when I bought two left-handed reels by mistake when started fishing with them fell in love with it I made more casts in less time. therefore placing my bait in the water, faster and more often allowing me to catch more fish

Ya it happens and different jets have different means to clear the jet but in my circumstance u have to jump in and Clear it by hand, on the most part when I suck up a bunch of stuff I can shut the motor off and restart it and it kinda just coughs the junk out, there has been two times that I can remember that I had to jump in and clear it, thank god it was warm out 🙏🏻
Those are gravity feed pumps from all the duck hunting islands... amazing fishing on minus tides... a tip is throw it farther where all the water is coming out, you were throwing it just short cause the tension in your spool was a little too tight... that storm swimbaits are very good to or something that rattles... stripers are apex predators and they're trying to eat all the bugs coming out the gravity pumps
yeaa if you throw it where it's bubbling, it's only going to get better too the blacker the water coming out, the better lol it's almost time for halibut too, gotta get it while the getting is good lol we been trolling for stripers and catching big ones too they in right now.. especially this water guna clear up this with no wind... hopefully see you out there

You need to up grade to a left hand reel. No passing the rod from hand to hand. More casts per hour. More chances to catch fish.
I don’t know if I’ll be able to use a left hand reel , I was just imagining now and I don’t think it will be possible lol

Right on .There is what they call a stomp grate that might fit your grate .I have a Thunder jet .Mine has to be custom made.
