Kubota Grapple Showdown! - EA Wicked Root Grapple Comparison and Review - Uncle Charlies Cabin

In this episode of the Sometimes Builds… we are back at Uncle Charlies Cabin and we put the Kubota L5150 and Kubota MX to the test with brush clearing. We have the 55” EA Wicked Root Rake Grapple on the Kubota L and the 60” EA Wicket Root Rake Grapple on the Kubota MX. We put them to the test to see if one is better than the other? What are the differences? What should you use each grapple and setup for?
Mike has zero experience with grapple work, Charlie has 3 years of grapple experience for context.

Last year I bought the 55 EA. I was getting ready to buy a land pride at my local dealer. I had a conversation with a guy in the show room who was bitching because he bent 2 tines on his land pride the day he bought it. Not a happy guy. I got sucked in by Ted and the boys at EA who firmly believe that they have the best grapple on the market. I believe it too. NOTHING more gratifying than pulling out brush, cleaning up the location and having a bon fire. Great Video boys. Happy New Year

I bought the EA 60" for my L4701. Absolutely love it! IMO, EA makes the best root grapple on the market. I installed a Landpride 3rd funtion valve myself. Took less than 3 hours. But I did take my time and made the install look professionally done. The 60" does everthing I've needed it to do on my L4701. Glad I bought it. BTW, I've got a 511 brush guard on the front of my tractor. Great product and I'm glad I bought it too. Thanks for the video.

I run the EA 60 inch on my MX5200 and a hydraulic offset Peruzzo flail mower in the back. Fantastic combo for clearing that Autumn Olive. Getting the grill guard is a definite must. I also picked up an enhanced hydraulic line protector from 5:11 Designs and the Zook filter guards. Great video!!

Note to anyone considering EA article this week alledged they had closed up shop. Brtter check before pursuing this brand.
