My favorite attachment.. Watching these while I'm on deployment, can't wait to get back to work again.
Thanks for watching and for your service!!
Love that grapple! Back saver and time saver. Very satisfying.
It’s a fantastic tool! The grapple is almost exclusively on the tractor unless doing specific pallet fork or dirt work.
Great job Jake. The grapple worked much better than I thought that it would when cleaning up that overgrown area.
It does a very good job at the initial rough clearing.
That was really great! Thanks for the tour, and demo. I wondered when I saw those tire-tracks in the turf... but you changed your direction, smartly. Regards from the garden state
Thanks Ted! Yeah I didn’t think about marking up the grass on that first one and then immediately changed my plan of attack!
Looks pretty good in the end. The right equipment certainly does make short work of a project.
It certainly makes all the difference!
Great video. Very satisfying when you see immediate changes. Customer will be happy
They were very happy!
Great demo and nice work. I need one to clear the back side of my land. Thank you.
Thanks! It works really well.
great work! thanks for sharing. very handy grapple rake!
It works great!
Yes it was a great job looks good. Jake
Very good job !
Great video, was impressed with the capability.
Thanks, the grapple does a great job for many things.
Good grapple video, thanks Jake.
Thanks for watching Brandon!
Great video love our root rake grapple and our 2501 makes tough jobs easy the land owner should sell those nice logs to someone
The grapple is a life saver! These people wouldn’t want to have been bothered by that lol
Great grapple and tractor combo.
I suggest you take your time when engaging the ground with the lower tines (raking), you never know know when you will encounter a massive root or an old stump.
Thank you for sharing.
Good content.
Thanks for watching! The grapple works well.
You did an awesome job man,,, love that grapple
Thanks it’s a great tool
Definitely does a good job. I wish had one. Think come spring going look for a bigger tractor
The wicked grapple is great! I’m very happy I decided to go with this grapple!
I like your new video the moming you did a really good jop this was nice you help out good the moming buddy 🍺🍺
"511' grill guard is a must !
I love my stuff from them!
That is a job I would love 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Looks great! I just put in my order for a Wicked 55 yesterday!
Nice you’ll love it! From what I hear you have quite the waiting list to contend with for one!
@@DudeRanchDIY They said 14 weeks! I'm not in a rush so that's ok.
You have sold me on the Wicked 55!
Glad to hear it Dave! It’s pretty awesome!
Wicked 55 is my go to attachment
It’s always on the tractor!
My 3 years old girl say that's a good idea to bring bring with you yours big garbage box at the rear of your tractor while your working ! Lol
Lol!! She’s really not too far off…it serves as a great spot to toss my garbage too when out in the woodyard so as not to litter!!
Hey boss.....nice work.
Thanks Guerry! Hope you’ve been well!
Very good video brother
Thanks Shannon!
I orded the 60" wicked but wondering if I went to big for my 1640 Mahindra. It comes in at 38 hp. The fel is rated at 1650# lift. The 60"wicked is 400#. The 55" on your tractor seems a great fit. Great video.
Hey Mike, personally this is exactly why I went with the 55”. Those extra 5” for the 60” more than double the weight of the grapple. I love my 55” and my L3901 they work together really well and I can pick up very large logs and load them into my trailer!
@ #4:40
Keep the rake tilt so that the bottom of the rake is flat on the ground. When in this position hitting a stump hydrolic pistons can bend or crack.
Yeah I try to for the most part but there were lots of roots in this area that required a bit more aggression to eradicate! Always very slow and careful when tilted like that. Thanks for watching!!
Great Video ,the only question I have and I haven’t heard much or see in other videos is about the auxiliary hydraulic lines ,I own a Kubota L3901 and it has the Kubota loader original from the Kubota dealer ,and my question is can I attached the wicked grapple to my Kubota with out adding more auxiliary hydraulic lines other than the ones it has for the regular loader?
No you can’t, you will need to add on the third function valve in order to have full use of your FEL as well as opening and closing of the grapple.
Grabbing that small brush, back drag your grapple and pick up the pile, you’ll be happier with the result!
I’ve been told it’s not good for the hydraulic cylinders on the grapple to apply pressure like that on the top lid!
@@DudeRanchDIY double check with your manufacturer. They should have mechanical stops built into the hinge area that prevents the claw from opening too far and damaging the piston or your hydraulics.
Did you ever added any fluid in your rear tires for ballast? Helps with traction too. I just got the tire valve adapter to do mine, picking up a pump tomorrow.
I haven’t yet but I really want to! I didn’t know there was a valve adapter!
@@DudeRanchDIY There's several on Amazon. I got www.amazon.com/Slime-20073-Air-Water-Adapter/dp/B003V9T6YI
Tractor dealers in my area fill them as part of the sell. They won't sell it without it
Did you fabricate your chain saw holder ? I really like its location. Thanks for the video !
I did not, it’s a sawhaul!
Its a shame those logs are just going to rot away. They should have let you have them for fire wood.
Nice work with the grapple!
I probably could’ve taken them for firewood but it would’ve meant an extra trip back and forth, not to mention I’m currently trying to cut down on my log pile!!
I'm also interested in your grapple set up. I have a l3400 extra power 2008 with a la 463 loader. I'm looking at a everything attachments 55 grapple also. My loader does not have a quick attach so I would have to convert mine. I was wondering if your tractor was quick attach from kabota or did you have to convert your. My concern is that the everything attachments q/a unit looks like pivot pins at moved forward and with a possible loss of lift ability? let me know what you leaen with setting up your system. Thanks Kevin
Hey Kevin, my loader is the universal quick attach from the factory. Although the connection point gets moved forward a few inches as opposed to the pin on style, the convenience of having the quick attach far out weighs whatever loss of lift capacity you might experience in my opinion. There are also a few things that can be done involving shims to boost your lift capacity back up if desired.
@@DudeRanchDIY Hi I have shimmed mine at few weeks ago.. I also built in a permanent hydraulic pressure gauge. mine with from about 2250 psi to just under 2700 psi . if you have a chance do you have your current pin to back plane of bucket measurement so i can decide where to go with factory quick attach parts or the everything attachment setup , thanks for replying so quickly. what about your music . I liked the music on i think it was your 2nd demo of the 55 grapple
Please steer me to.the video of the ballast box. How much weight is it?? Great video. Have a Safe Day!!
I don’t think I have a video on the ballast box! It’s filled with gravel, no idea how much weight but I know the chipper is heavier ~1,000lbs. I plan on filling the ballast box with concrete similarly to “DIY My Way” has done!
I have a 72” bucket should I get a 72” grapple or should I go smaller?
I have a 72” bucket and went with the 55” for me I have no need for a grapple that wide, not really sure what it would change vs. the 55” besides being able to grab more brush out of a pile? I use mine primarily for logs and it works great and is light so I can maximize my lift capacity.
How does the B26 compare to the L3901 with regards to using this fabulous Wicked Root Rake? Could I have similar success with the B26? Many Thanks!
I’m not sure, never ran a B26. The grapple itself is awesome. I love it’s versatility for everything I use it for.
What model kubota do you have? I couldn't tell. New sub
L3901 welcome to the channel!
Nice. How many horses does your tracor have?
39hp
I like your banjo and picking music where can i find it
It’s just some music off of the free UA-cam library!

I just got a Chub lol
Lol it’s fun ripping stuff out!!
@@DudeRanchDIY I got the 4701 with Backhoe, I ordered this wicked rake grapple waiting for it to come in
Where are you out of???
CT
You sold me on the grapple is their brand name model number & mfg
It’s a great grapple, lots of crap out there…Everything Attachments Wicked Grapple huge lead time on them unfortunately. I got mine 2 years ago.
It’s a shame EA disappeared and ran off with their customers money without fulfilling orders.
If that was anyone reading this, do a credit card chargeback.
It sure is, I know a guy that was caught in that predicament.
