Mike Joy is absolutely timeless, best part about NASCAR on FOX
His voice sounded then exactly how it is today. It’s odd hearing such a recognizable voice attached to a face that’s eerily familiar, but definitely alien
He was Dale Sr’s loyal friend. A member of the Alabama Gang.
Bonnet was an important figure in Earnhardt’s success during the early 90s. The reason the Goodwrench car was always setup so well was thanks to Bonnett and a ton of track time. Their understanding of one another helped him win not only races but championships
Neil Bonnett was one of the most underrated drivers ever. RIP.
I remember watching “Winners” on Sunday morning, thinking to myself;”man I just gotta meet Neil 1 time!” I was truly heart sick on the news of his passing.
I remember watching his hunting and fishing shows, a week or two later, looking for the show, months later,I found out he had died,so enjoyed the programs,I miss Neil, Dale Sr,Bennie Parsons, several others😃
I was a Neil Bonnett fan due to his hosting of his TV show (that I could finally get to watch thanks to the BIG satellite dish) long before I was a NASCAR fan. I remember when my late younger brother told me of his wreck and passing and I couldn't hardly believe it. Wow...25 years ago. And not only do I miss them both, today I feel old. RIP...
Rip Neil Bonnett and Rodney Orr.
Thank you for mentioning Rodney

This ain’t about rodney Orr. It’s about a hero
@@hayden4597 They both died in practice for the '94 Daytona 500. Orr in fact passed away 25 years ago today, on February 14th, 1994.
NitroGaming then give him his own thing

Neil was a good guy, a lot of good memories of him
He was a great guy that loved this sport so much.. you could tell that when all his broadcasting.. I hate he passed but I think we all wanna go doing something we love
Very nice playing back what was an excellent tribute to Neil from 1994.
Disappointing they didn't interview people in the garage about Neil to show he still isn't forgotten.
Neil Bonnett A TRUE NASCAR Driver from the 70s 80s and early 90s era you make 😂 and you make 😢 from Bessemer Alabama native always be Alabama Gang God bless Neil Bonnett born 1946 passed away 1994
Never forget Neil “Niles Bonnét” Bonnett
Dr.B097 HAHAHAHAHAHA
As a Teenager, I was a NB #12 fan. Saw him race in Rockingham in the early 80’s. One heck of a great man.
Alabama Gang!!!! Allison, Allison, Allison, Bonnett, Farmer!!!
You left out one Allison (Clifford) and Stricklin. Hut is Donnie's son-in-law.
he was one of my favorite drivers, of all time
Gone but not forgotten.
Very cool to see the best of nascar races
I really hope BFM does a Gone Too Soon Video for Neil Bonnett
His career was pretty much over though. No disrespect but he last won in 85-86. He did it part time because He also loved being in the booth.
@@todd_gilliland335 His last win was Richmond 1988
That is true, but they were still "Gone to Soon" in terms of the sport in general. He was a fantastic commentator when he was up there.
Miss Neil greatly. The old TNN network was fantastic
Time to put Neil in hall of fame
Wish they would bring back "Winners" RIP Neil and Rodney
I have 800 some channels on my tv and not one of them have shows like ten with Neil on his winners show. The modern day kids in NASCAR don’t have old stories like this generation of drivers had.
RIP Neil u r missed
Rip Neil and Rodney
Hueytown! Alabama Gang forever!
RIP Neil
Ha, Dale looks like Mr. Rogers cooler brother in that sweater.
25 years. Where did the time go? Seems like just yesterday he was burning up the track. I love to watch Neil race when I could. Neil, along with other great drivers will always be missed. The sport just isn't the same without them.
😭so sad
My dad was a huge Dale Earnhardt fan. Huge. But I believe he liked Neil Bonnet better than any other racer. Rest in Peace Neil and Dale. #31🏁 #3🏁 Heroes.

I miss Both of these great Race Drivers. Both were at the top of my drivers list 😢 such a Bad time ever cents.
Rip Neil and Rodney 25 years later
The quintessential Neil Bonnett: when asked about why he'd buy a bass boat with a 300 HP motor on it - "You hook a bass at 100 MPH, you take the fight right out of him." R.I.P. Neil - you are missed.
That's not right(figuratively speaking)but funny🤣
Between his and Dale Earnhardt’s crashes, the cars are now safer. That’s why Ryan could walk out of the hospital just a few days after his crash
Neil Bonnet was a great man first and one of the best race drivers as well
I have the picture of Neil and Davey in my office,,
Neil and Dale are fishing or hunting right now! God bless those legends!!!
I remember the late, great, legendary neil bonnett, brother! One of Nascar's all time best! GOD REST YOUR SOUL!
One of the finest men to grace our sport as I was only a 9 year old child when he past a day before my 10th birthday I will always remember him as the host of winners and when I met him he was one of the kindest and most gracious humans I have ever met still to this day . My heartfelt sorrow and sympathy goes out to his widow Susan and children I know what it means to lose one of your heroes and I am thankful for having the privilege to have met a man like that looking back kkl ago.
he was genuine !!!!!
Still sad today in 2020. The world misses him and the other titans who've lost their lives driving fast.
ONE OF THE GREATEST HUMAN BEINGS TO EVER GRACE THIS PLANET. AND ONE HECK OF A STOCKCAR RACER. GOD BLESS YOU NEIL.
victory lane! ...... he named his driveway victory lane... he loved his family, racing, and the lord so its no wonder .,, the Lord Needed Him for a starting field that He Had Already Qualified for !!!.. Victory In The Sky . Dales Accident was all too similar results.. thanks for the HANS device and may the founder rest in peace knowing the lives he helped to Preserve...
Amen
I feel that Rodney Orr has been left out.

I heard his wife found out he died by a radio announcement while she was driving to the track. (Which might be a rumor idk)
SmugRoom38 it was true
HE was great commentator.
One could say Dale wasn't the same when his best friend died I hope and pray 🙏 they are together swapping stories RIP too both
TNN's Winners was aired on GMA Network every Thursday evenings after GMA Balita
Neil Bonnet was just a Very Kind and Great Man, I met Neil in the infield at Daytona, had my girl friend with me getting some autographs when we where close to Earnhardt’s RV I seen Earnhardt’s getting in the RV so I took my girl friend over there told her to call Earnhardt’s name and ask for his autograph so he stop turned around and realized my mistake it’s was Neil Bonnet! He started laughing, and says No, but I Sure Wish I had he’s money, l telling Helen, who it was as he was still laughing at USE, Neil stud there and talked to use for 10 minutes autographing hats and other things!! God Bless Him and He’s Wife and Family!! A Very NICE MAN

1994 was an awful year for motorsports: Ayrton Senna dies, Roland Ratzenberger dies, Neil Bonnett, and several others.
Rodney ore
With all the concussion he had he should not have been racing.
Ugh can't stand DW
RIP Neil and Rodney
