Anyone on a budget looking for an exhaust, get the ISR GT single exit, IMO sounds way better than tomei

When I bought my z, it was running a HKS true dual exhaust. The rev9 is basically a knock-off, but the HKS just sounded amazing. It wasn't loud and the tone was just great. I sold it for a more free flowing exhaust though. The Z1 exhaust is crazy loud though, not as loud as the Tomei, but I can still be heard miles away lmao
I have 04 g35 with rev9 exhaust and specd headlights i even did the rear tailights with the halo kit you showed us a while back thanks for the content.
Rev9 idles like a rattlesnake I plan on switching to a Z1 single exit but this rev9 hasn’t disappointed me. I wanted to see it’s full potential so I went ahead and added test pipes with the rev9 catback and I can say it sounds so good
Which test pipes did you end up getting? I have the rev9 exhaust and was looking into test pipes
I wouldn’t do the rev 9. The z1 dual sounds amazing. It’s worth it to save for the better part.

Man I just got my invidia gemini exhaust in last week. About to get that thing on Monday. Cant wait to hear how it sounds in person. Also got that kuruma z bumper in too. Its a pain to get it all drilled out to fit to the front

I had a Rev9 exhaust on my first G and personally I didn’t like it at all but it’s a good mod if you’re on a budget build though
Thanks for the feedback. I did have a feeling. I definitely recommend getting an exhaust outside of Amazon for this one.

whatever you guys do, DO NOT buy that rev9/HKS replica exhaust. It sounds far far worse than oem, and it’s even more hideous if it’s an automatic. Go with a muffler delete if you want more noise, or keep it stock if you want a good tone, or try the ISR. Actually performs well and doesn’t sound like a dead radio station when you step on the gas.

@@pierresmith8175 Here in California finding one that’s half decent under 5k can be challenging at times. I had a coupe with 90k miles and it sold for 6, it may be different due to location but who knows!
