Everyone was great, but I loved O-T Fagbenle. I believe he's actually British (I know he isn't American) but he pulled off the accent perfectly and he even changed his voice. If you watch him in "Handmaid's Tale," he speaks differently. His voice in this was lower and slower because he was playing a much different type of character. And he did this slack-jawed thing that was so annoying, I wanted to just punch him in the face. 🤣But that's good, because you weren't supposed to like him. (Although Peter's character was the EXTRA creepy one.) It's probably a lot of fun to play parts like that.
Tommy was so genuinely in contempt of Rusty - although I knew they were brothers in law- I was curious to check out this clip and see if Peter does, in fact, like Jake or not. Peter gave a stellar performance and was incredibly believable.
This was such an amazing show. Highly recommend. They describe it so well without spoiling it. The performances, the writing, and the production was top notch.
Everything and everyone was perfect up until the last 15 min when the series went into a tail spin- very disappointed with the not very satisfying ending - AFTER learning who was the murderer. It was a very weak wrap up- should’ve test marketed it.
It's an incredible watch. The conviction with which the characters put forward their thoughts and ideas takes this show to the next level. At times you feel that you are inside the courtroom and there's something at stake for you. Brilliant.
Jake is outstanding in it! Just incredibly well acted, and I don’t consider myself a fan of his, although I appreciate some of his films. But this time he’s blown it out of the park.
Shout out to Peter and also O-T Fagbenle who both played the most obnoxious, unlikeable characters when they actually seem lovely in real life. (I LOVE O-T on "Handmaid's Tale." It was like he was a totally different person in this.) I was also really happy with the ending. I didn't know what they were going to do because this was a book that was already made into a movie with Harrison Ford and I didn't know if they were going to completely change the ending and ruin the original story, or stick with the original and be predictable. But I think they found the right balance. I thought one thing was going to happen and, at one point, literally said out loud, "What?!" Well done.
For over a month now, i've been rewatching and rewatching Garden State over and over again (LOVE the film) and i've been used to see Peter Sarsgaad as a very young man. Watching this interview hit me like a train, i completly forgot it's been over 20 years since Garden State. Peter is a terrific actor, but for me he will always be Mark, and everytime i finish watching Garden State i long for a sequel, just to see what happens to Mark.
Man! it's really amazing how perfect the series is the acting the transitions of B cheating into romance with Rusty and thinking who's the killer, I thought Tommy is the killer. fyi I never watched the original movie only the series so it's really a fresh authentic scenes for me!
It’s the best platform if you’re looking for really good shows with high quality writing, acting, producing, visual effects, and the whole nine yards. Apple spent a few billion on shows but they’ve done a horrible job marketing it. Worth the money in spades.
For God's sake! GET over it! SHE has! They only dated for a few months 14 years ago!! So pathetic and ridiculous! Grow up! I've been done far more dirty many times and I got over it! And those relationships were years long not a few months!
Bringing up someone’s relationship that have been over, even doesn’t have any relation to this video, was really uncalled for and she doesn’t even know you. You should get help
Unfortunately this is a wooden, over hyped series: one remake that didn’t need to happen. As always Saarsgard is terrific. ep 4 was directed by Greg Yaitanes & was ….almost worth it.
@@daveclark8337 did you even watch the show ? bc the show's version is by far much better than the movie. changes were made with a purpose and it was smart.
Peter definitely deserves an Emmy for his performance in this show.

Incredible series and incredible dynamic between these two. Must watch
Great show, and the cast is amazing - Jake and Peter obviously, but also Bill Camp, Ruth Negga, and O-T Fagbenle are all excellent.
Jake is outstanding in it! Just incredibly well acted, and I don’t consider myself a fan of his, although I appreciate some of his films. But this time he’s blown it out of the park.
Jake aged very well actually he didn’t age at all 👌🏼
They are brothers-in-law indeed.
I loved the show and the ending ! What great acting !!!
This is one of the most beautiful series that I have sharpened in my life

Ruth Negga was so good in this.

The best thing I've seen in a long time
LOL. Loved the interview!
Every time I see Peter S., I'm reminded of one of the skits he did when he hosted Saturday Night Live. It involved pirates and was very funny.
Watched episode 1 last night. Very good. Huge Jake fan xo
You'll never guess who was Innocent.
This show was amazing and this interview was hilarious!!!! 😂
U can tell these guys have been really good friends for a while. They been in a lot of films together. Jarhead, the guilty, rendition, the guilty.
also the guilty
@Ulyssmusic Darling, see your eye doctor. OP stated "the guilty", without having edited his comment.
Loved this show, great drama, acting.
jake was great in the show but jake is great in everything (except prince of persia) but Peter skarsgard was absolutely phenomenal 👏
It was so good!
"This case is not about Tommy, it's not about me, or Carolyn atleast not the application of Justice...... it's about you"
Last episode to drop soon. Great series so far!
Where is Ruth Negga. She deserves an Oscar for her acting especially the last episode
Man! it's really amazing how perfect the series is the acting the transitions of B cheating into romance with Rusty and thinking who's the killer, I thought Tommy is the killer.
fyi I never watched the original movie only the series so it's really a fresh authentic scenes for me!
Incredible show
I would live to watch it, a film, TV movie with these two actors, in a movie I kind of remember... But really, another, and another platform...

You can get a 3 month trial if you have a console.
It is sooo good it is so good
Now I'm craving pickles.
Just finished great show
Jake has been the same age for the past 20 years
I think Jake’s lower body is too jacked for that chair or something 😂
Great show. Different from the movie
Wuao i loved
❤❤❤
Later he learns they were just jarred Dill pickles. Ha.
I don't think the line between TV and movies exists anymore...
OT’s accent is soooo lame
I love Peter Sarsgaard. Jake Gyllenhaal, meh, he did TSwift dirty! Can’t get over it!!
For God's sake! GET over it! SHE has! They only dated for a few months 14 years ago!! So pathetic and ridiculous! Grow up! I've been done far more dirty many times and I got over it! And those relationships were years long not a few months!
I like them both.
Get a life, they have moved on

grow up, jeez
His wife is the killer
I don’t think the TV show is going to be the same as the movie
@@johnnyboy7144I agree I think his brother in law’s character is the killer
@@charitymafuba2241 yes that’s a good theory
I think Trump did it.
@@MrPDTaylor I think your mom did it

That is your opinion only and you are certainly allowed to have it. Other people are free to like it.
The actress that played Jake's daughter is so perfect she's so beautiful 😍.
In the book Jake only had a son. They're ruining a perfectly good story with all these changes to it.
@@daveclark8337I don’t even see the point of calling the series Presumed Innocent. So far it’s really awful and boring.
