YES! Lauren, I have been following and enjoying your blog since long before cov1d, and I wish I could articulate how proud and encouraged I feel watching you boldly proclaim the truth. Funny enough, I actually own a vintage clothing shop (fabulous fur coat you’ve got there!) and during the beginning of the pandemic I used my business platform & social media to openly question and challenge what is happening. I have never enforced mask wearing in my establishment, or social distancing, and I shared photos of myself at local lockdown protests. The “woke” members of my community put my shop on a boycott list that was shared publicly on Instagram. As I began to have friends turn on me, lose customers, gain bad Yelp reviews where they were previously 5 star, my ego felt the pain and I began to pull back. While I still don’t comply with mandates, I have been less and less vocal about the truth, out of fear of being shunned by my peers and community. YOUR BEAUTIFUL POETRY has lit a fire in my heart and given me so much clarity. Your boldness is contagious. I watched it several times. Thank you so much for using your platform to share TRUTH
I so appreciate your comment, and pardon my late reply! I am cheering for your courage and strength and conviction. You are a bright soul! What is your vintage clothing shop? Does it have a website? I would love to check it out!
You always have a brilliant way of articulating what so many of us are feeling and struggling with. Thank you!
This is brilliant!
Outstanding, Lauren! Thank you
