This was the best view of the eclipse I’ve seen including all of the live news broadcasts. Ryan you are truly a great story teller and videographer. Thanks so much and so happy you were able to be there. What a moment in time for us all!
Appreciate it a lot!
whoa
We got TWO Ryan TWOmey videos this week!
I saw the last eclipse in 2017 so was cool to see other people's experiences this time.
it's crazy that we had a full eclipse in 2017 and 2024 but we won't see another one in the United States until 2044 😮
Was trying my best to get this out as quick as possible - hope you enjoyed!
Don needs to start vlogging. He's such a fun character to watch
We were rained out this time but 2017 was amazing. Down south, crickets and frogs came to life. It was wild.
The birds went crazy where we were at in rural Idaho
I drove to a spot in 2017...it was pretty cool. We stayed home this year and got 99.3% totality and that last .7% of the sun kept the area pretty well lit. It was amazing how bright that last little bit of sunshine was.
I seen the 2017 one in Nashville we were visiting family and had no idea it was going to happen that week it was very cool
Your best video yet Ryan! Thank you sharing the awesomeness!
I could feel your excitement! Happy for you all sharing such a memorable experience! 😊
The eclipse transitions through the video were genius editing! Great job
I thought the same 🎉
Haha thought it was a cool idea, glad you liked it!
Love your videos- you’re a fast talker and keeps it interesting! You got sooo excited for the eclipse- it was awesome!
Thank you Ryan for taking us on your amazing eclipse journey! As always you didn’t disappoint! 😃
Man Ryan you are such a great planner. So awesome!! Great content per usual!! Thanks for sharing with us. Have a great week ahead. The coverage in Chicago was awesome. We had a fantastic look at the eclipse.
one of the best captures of the emotional aspect. well done.
I'm in Dallas and would've hosted you in a heartbeat! I had the same experience and reaction to witnessing that event. In full totality, it was an absolute unreal experience. I know for me, it made me feel so tiny and insignificant.
Dallas as well and it ended up being incredible!
The video fox 4 uploaded with the view from klyde warren park was wild
100% thought it would not live up to the hype but experiencing full totality in-person was one of the coolest experiences ever
Dallas here too, and I wish he would have come here! Amazingly the clouds parted for all of totality and it was ridiculously cool!
Happy it worked out in Dallas, it was my first choice but a little too risky with the weather.
Thank you so much for this amazing experience, much gratitude from New Zealand.
All I could think about was the giant pole in front of your parking spot🤣🤣. I was thinking the pole was going to throw off the focus on your cameras. Great video. Thanks for working so hard to share this with your viewers. Well done Ryan. Don and his girlfriend seem like perfect roadtrip companions.
I didn't fly across the country and drive 6 hours to get beaten by that pole 😂
Thanks for sharing this video Ryan. I missed the eclipse and totally got the full body chills seeing it here. I can’t imagine seeing it in person. Awesome video man 👍
Really never expected you to swing through the Capital Region! Stopping at The Ruck while in Troy was a good decision!
Born and raised in north eastern Vermont. And you’re absolutely right. There’s nothing to do. now I live in a short bus and travel.
I'm so happy you saw IT!! I was in NH; it didn't get as dark but it was still super cool. So happy VT got the benefit of revenue from tourists ... we have not had the best skiing season. Thank you for sharing your enthusiasm with us!
Wow excellent footage of the total s. eclipse Ryan ~ thanks 😊
Enjoyed your video. I watched it in Cleveland. It was raining in the morning so I was worried but it cleared up beautifully by the afternoon and the eclipse was spectacular. The camera doesn't do it justice. Seeing it in person is truly a surreal experience. Most amazing thing ive ever seen.
Beautiful video! Thank you for sharing that experience with us!
Love the videos Ryan. Can't wait to see the adventures you have in the new micro van.
Yoo you got an awesome view of the eclipse man! Enjoyed every minute of this video. Shout out to Ryan for brining us this type of content every week 🔥
Bro, you should of just stuck with Dallas. I can show you video of what we had and it was beautiful. The clouds left and it made it 100% better and 100% clear view of it.
This is one of my favorite videos of all. I'm here today re-watching it because it was so good. If you make videos less often, I can just go back and watch the best of the best!
2 in one week!!!!!!!
This is the best coverage I’ve seen of this year’s solar eclipse. Thank you for sharing, it makes me want to travel to see totality next time.
Man i watched one video….then another…and another. Now i am binge watching all your videos. Lol. The way you do your videos makes me feel like i am along for the ride. Thank you for sharing your experiences with us!
This was incredible. I couldn’t travel for the eclipse and you captured the experience beautifully. I was actually quite verklempt watching. Well done!
Few things are as incredible as witnessing a total solar eclipse. Loved this video!
I got goosebumps just watching your video. I would hug anyone near me in that instance. Thank for taking me there.
That was awesome! We watched from our backyard deck in Arkansas! So cool!
I got chills the exact same time you said you got chills.
I'm so happy you saw IT!! I was in NH, it didn't get as dark but it was still super cool.
it's hard to tell someone how incredible it is. they're like yeah yeah, but I have never seen something so majestic, mind blowing, spectacular, ever!
Not gonna lie tou guys picked a great spot to see the eclipse
Great video today, Ryan. Gave me chills too.
That field you went to in Jericho I played football at when I was younger 😂 hope you enjoyed the eclipse and your time in VT!
Amazing. We had about 50% here in SoCal,which was cool, but I was fortunate to see the last full eclipse while working in Santa Fe last October. Very cool! I like your filming and editing styles (I work in feature film production), and always look forward to your vids. Good work! 🎥
Loved this video! Your friends are awesome! Would love more videos like this. 😊 Thanks for sharing your awesome experience! It felt like we were there.
Ryan, Thank you for sharing. I'm so happy that you got to see it. I will be 91 for the next one, I do plan on seeing that one. Love your videos😊
Every time Ryan Posts It makes My day
nice work. glad you posted your trip.
Super cool that you shared that with us Ryan!
Amazing experience. Thanks for bringing us along.
Clevelands weather ended up being amazing. That will be a hard experience to top. I'm glad you three got to enjoy !
This was like Christmas for Ryan. Great video! 😊
That was awesome! Thanks for sharing.
In 2017 the totality passed over a family member's house in Idaho so we went to see it. This year it passed over another family member's house in Texas so we went to see it. The next one in 2045 will pass right over my parent's house. It's an unreal experience. I love how weird the overall light gets once the moon starts going across the sun.
Thanks for sharing this great experience...take care!
Indianapolis was also in the path of totality, and the whole thing was fascinating, humbling, awe-inspiring, take-your-breath-away. You could hear cheers from all over the place. It definitely was an experience that brought all who saw it to unity, even if only for a few minutes.
Ikr it was so surreal to see!
Awsome wish i was there
I wasn’t far from you in Northern Vermont myself. I was in Enosburgh Falls. I decided last minute to drive up from south of Boston. I agree with you. It was the most amazing thing I’ve ever seen and I am so glad I took the 4 hours to drive up there and then the 10 hours to drive home with all that traffic. Worth every single minute. Next one I go to, however, I will plan better and stay wherever I am viewing the night of, but with that said, I am so glad I didn’t miss this one. Walk in peace, Ryan and keep the videos coming.
Yo, thank you for that! I never realized I needed to watch that. That was amazing.
Dallas turned out amazing!
There are times when we as humans really come together to truly experience something...
*This is one of those times, and it's amazing!*
Wow that was amazing! Witnessing a solar eclipse is now on my bucket list!
And it was one of the clearest days of the year here in Cleveland. 😎
Yes, finally! Every time there is a phenomenon in Ohio, weather ruins it for us.
We got lucky lol
I was just SE of Cleveland in Orwell, it was fucking perfect. Couldn't have asked for better weather.
Yes it was beautiful
The weather in cleveland ended up being perfect. One of the coolest things I've ever seen in my entire life. Pictures and video don't do it justice
Loved the video. Great job! Here in Buffalo it was cloudy, we could only see parts of it. But by 20:19 5pm, the clouds rolled away, figures😒
🔥 definitely the best video I’ve seen of the eclipse
I was in the path of totality here in MO for the eclipse that happened back in 2017 definitely a breathtaking moment. Awesome video.
I was in Piedmont missouri for totality. I don't have words! I
It was absolutely incredible. We had a perfect view here in Central Texas and everyone was out downtown and cheered when it hit totality. A truly awesome sight !
Thank you for Sharing your experience 😍
This is the solar eclipse review video I was waiting for
Vermonter here. I watched from just south of Burlington in a town called Shelburne and had perfect conditions as well. North East Vermont is undoubtedly beautiful but you definitely would have had more to do closer to Burlington. Glad you enjoyed it though and I hope to see more content in my little state at some point!
It got so dark about half way here in Columbus Ohio! Wow Ryan, thank you so much for sharing your eclipse experience with us!! It was definitely an experience of a lifetime!
Awesome friends my man. Hilarious. Appreciate the eclipse footage.
I’ve watched so many of your videos and this is the first I’ve ever commented on. I plan to retire in 2.5 years and planning to go van life. Looking for all the van life build tips I can get !
I love your videos. I’m so close to where you are now! If you ever return to the area. I would love to host you whenever you’re nearby!
This one was so dope to watch bro!
We watched it in N.E. Ohio. yeah, the weather was sketchy, but at the last moment the skies cleared. Our group was at the eastern edge of totality, so we only had about a minute. Still every bit the experience you say it is. It's something everyone needs to experience once in their life. Awesome video.
Just watched this video Ryan thanks for sharing with us as always awesome view point I felt like I was there.
Flew from Atlanta to Little Rock Arkansas to see it. Such an awesome experience!
Thank you for sharing that’s so epic!
I’m from Arkansas thankfully the skies were clear during the eclipse it was definitely awe inspiring
Thank you Ryan…. I was getting goose bumps watching your video….
My family drove up from Albany to the home of more family in Northern NY. Everything that you mentioned was so exciting to watch in person. Some of us cried. My grand dog had an existential crisis when it was over, and just stared at where the sunset had been seconds earlier. I got a phone call with a job offer two minutes before totality. It really does change you.
That was great! thanks for sharing.
Hey really love your "show". Huge fan!
You guys should have come to Jay Peak (near Newport, VT) for the event. Perfect weather, stuff to do including live band the night before. Jay Peak really outdid themselves. As the moon started to eclipse the sun, the live band they had playing there outside on the deck played the entire "dark side of the moon" album. The atmosphere was joyous. Such an spectacular experience with incredible people at such a fabulous venue. I am so lucky to have been able to experience it.
Hope you're able to come up to VT, NH & the Adirondacks soon. Summer is a fantastic time to visit this area! Your perspective on the Northeast will most certainly change.
Stay well and keep those videos coming!
Cheers from VT
I enjoy the 20 minutes a week I get to spend with you where ever your adventures take you.
I’m just relieved pastrami is being so thoroughly researched.
me too
Incredible !! So amazing !! Great video, bravo Ryan and company 😊😎🤓🌘🌔🌑👌✨
Thank you so much for showing the eclipse Ryan. I really appreciate it. I wish I could see it live. But it will be a long wait 2090. Sad 😢
I saw a total eclipse when I was about 11 when I was living in Africa and this one I was in Ohio and I opted to stay home and not travel three hours but from my house I saw 97.2% covered and it was awesome.
Thanks for sharing!!!
Thank you for sharing xx😊
BACK TO BACK UPLOADS LETS GOOO
I honestly thought you didn’t go view it. So this is so awesome! It was my first time as well, and honestly, cameras do no justice. It’s truly a remarkable experience in person. I was super hyped. So many strangers, from so many different states, came together to watch the eclipse and cheer the moon on as it covered the sun. It was spectacular. Not sure if you noticed but from where I viewed it, we saw the planets Jupiter and Venus as well.
I went by myself from south of Kansas City to Poplar Bluff, MO. Took an extra 3 hours to get home due to traffic (total of 8 hours. When I got home family said I could see partial eclipse there but a partial is nothing like a full eclipse! You captured it!
Thanks Ryan for your video. Amazing what everyone hopefully got to see. Love Science.
I saw it in Maine. Definitely can’t put the experience into words, it’s something that needs to be done seen in person. Absolutely incredible
I took a leap of faith and stuck with my plans to fly from Richmond, Va to Dallas and could not have asked for more perfect conditions. I am in awe. It was a fun trip all around, but the eclipse is the coolest thing I've ever seen. I was definitely making alternate plans for things to do in Dallas just in case the weather sucked, but the forecast ended up being dead wrong.
The eclipse was incredible. No clouds and Watched from my backyard in Cambridge Ontario with the the glasses. Had 99 % coverage .
Awesome, thanks for taking us along. 🌙 🌚 🌔
I was in the totality in Herrin, IL and the way the sky looks during it in this video captures it perfectly. Obviously no video or photos do the real thing justice but it's an amazing sight and feeling.
Thank you showing it for us in Europe! I remember the one from 1999, this was like traveling to this memory.
I live in Indianapolis and we had total totality it was so beautiful glad you got to experience it Ryan!
I drove around VT all day... ended up a little west of Stowe with a view of snowcapped Mt.Mansfield for the eclipse.. Total trip man probably the most psychedelic experience I've had without drugs in my life
Thank you for taking the trip and bringing us along! ☀️ 🌖 🌗🌘🌑🌒🌓🌔🌔
And Dallas turned out to be amazing!!
