I'm getting up there in age, but went back to school over the past 4 years. I wound up interacting with lots of people her age and younger, but never felt like I should be talking down to them, randomly quizzing their historical knowledge, or telling them what would be best for them.
I also started an atheist organization on campus in which we had open discussions on all manner of topics. We were all equals there, and I certainly learned a lot from those that attended because everyone experiences different things in life and has different areas of knowledge.

Man, I work a minimum of 12hours a day, get paid double time for anything over 40hrs/wk, and enjoy every day I'm in the shop. Granted I work with a bunch of other engineers and prototype guys but even when I was a full time welder/fabricator I even loved it. Work a ton now, save like madness spend VERY little, retire really early.

Having grown up around girls like this, she's a lot smarter than he's giving her credit for. The grandma fix up was no faux pas, but her own jab after being very patient. This is a classic view of how 'city slickers' patronize rural people; watch this assuming she's as intelligent as he is, and you see how patient and self-controlled she is.

Bill has a bad habit of condescending young people... a LOT. But this was just awkward. And she seemed like a nice girl. He seemed very off his conversational game. Also, he really does seem to look down on rural people at times. I left the city for the country and love it. The people are friendly and community oriented and even the ones that seem like "dumb country folk" are often smart in their own way (mechanically or what have you). I felt this made Bill look bad, and made her come off as a nice southern girl. And why did he keep on about that sex advice thing. That was just awkward.
