Maybe 1% of the people who say they are undecided and truly are. The 1% that really are undecided are likely very ignorant people that have absolutely no knowledge of either candidate. If you are the type of person who doesn't like to talk politics and someone comes up and asks you, who you are voting for. The easiest answer is to say, I am undecided. I don't know yet. That way you don't have to worry about debating someone.

The Electoral College never made sense when our Social Studies teacher explained it to the class fifty years ago. It still doesn’t.
Then get to work. Draft an amendment to the Constitution to change it
It was a way the slave states could retain slavery. The non slave states were more densely populated and the southern slave holders realized the Northern industrial states at any time could vote to end slavery so they insisted on offsetting the population difference with the electoral college. This country was/is/and has always been a racist country starting with the genocide of the native population. Nothing has changed. t***p's a racist and so are his supporters. Exactly. Defenders of the EC say that if it didn't exist, election outcomes would be determined by the most populous states, such as California (which actually doesn't track, because while California is the most populous state, the next two most populous states are Texas and Florida, which are both deep red and when combined contain far more people than California). But how is that any different to having a few swing states determining election outcomes? The EC is outdated and anachronistic, a 237-year-old relic of a bygone era which should have disappeared along with powdered wigs and flintlock muskets. It has no place in the modern world.
I can never get over how casually people accept the electrical college. Like when Kornaki says "she's ahead in national polls but that doesn't matter. Look at Pennsylvania". Excuse me. The response to "national polls don't matter" isn't "look at Pennsylvania". It's "wait isn't that pretty messed up?"
The US electoral college problem is the exact same thing as the UN problem and the EU problem, and for the exact same reason. When you create a larger body out of the unification of states and still try to leave the component states some autonomy of their own, then states vote instead of the people in those states.

In part Bill Barr and Chump left both DOJ and FBI a disaster, worked out well for Chump though. Right after J6 the FBI divided into two camps (internally) as to what to do about Chump and how to proceed legally. Short version is that both camps were more worried about negative publicity and how it would affect the Bureau than doing their damn job.

It's a tough question. Large cities can vote. Rural can vote. If large cities outvote rural voters, then so be it. We all have to comply with what we disagree on.
When a few hundred votes in ONE STATE can wipe out a third of a MILLION nationwide, and less than 100,000 votes wiped out OVER A MILLION (two or three mil.?) there is certainly something wrong. @cleverchaleigh I'm in Vegas for quite a while on the Strip, so that's very touristy. Vegas has grown a lot in the last few years. I have a place in Reno, which is a lot smaller but has grown quickly, too. Reno is very busy now with post Burning Man people returning from the Playa.

Let us not forget that during the Coronavirus press briefings, Trump suggested using disinfectant and sunlight to treat COVID-19 patients... I opted for the vaccines, standing 6 feet apart and wearing a mask...
Disinfectant and sunlight are actually good things. Disinfectant on surfaces and hands, sunlight because it kills germs and people need sun to make vitamin D. But rump advocated for shining light inside people's bodies to kill COVID after he heard that UV light was a way to kill germs. What?! How? And he thought bleach could be injected INSIDE people to kill germs, not being aware that would not be beneficial to their health.
He also shut down the pandemic response arm of the government , downplayed the pandemic's dangers, withheld shipments of critical PPE to states he didn't like, refused to wear a mask, tried to block mask mandates across the country, encouraged crowded gatherings of people, supported people using horse wormer to treat the disease despite the company making ivermectin advising against using it because of the dangers, and on and on. That was all criminal because it no doubt killed many people who would otherwise have lived. And of course many of the people who died were maga supporters. There was a Facebook page that told the stories of rump supporters who caught COVID because of following rump's bad advice.

How can anyone be an undecided voter after what we all witnessed for Trump’s sole term as president?
Because the chain of information is flawed in the US. How is an undecided voter going to get the information needed to educate himself/herself if there is no clearly objective means of information? Fox is known to be far right. CNN is known to be left. Is there any network where everybody agrees that it’s neutral, objective news? If not, how can you trust what you see in TV if your undecided?
In the end you just assume everybody’s lying which leads you to pick based on your indivisible impression of the person (which you get in the debate - a clearly flawed perspective) or you don’t vote at all.
