Before I get crucified, I'd say play in the 85 natural Grey's or Georgetowns, or the varsity. The materials used on the 85s are alot better than the retro, the leather was thicker and more cushiony, better ankle support, I believe it had a bigger outsole, and even a fiberboard inside of the soles.

If you start out with the shoe and wear it consistently for years, your feet would not have any issues.

If you want insane traction or just don’t want any slipping (you might fall if you abuse the traction too much) then get Jordan 1s, but if you’re looking for all around then don’t get it
