I don't know, why do you need to sound better than you do with a wired headset anyway? Is it worth spending hundreds of dollars to sound a tiny bit different? Do you know how to remove all the little white noise sounds, the hiss, the noise gate settings, and all of the sound engineer nerd stuff?
I don't. I would rather know I have the best setup, or just use what I have without spending extra money.

I don't understand why you are using the iRig2 ?
Rodecaster pro 2 is able to connect with trrs or bluetooth to a smartphone.
Using an Iphone 15 pro max connected to the RC duo and the USB C cable included on the box works for me.
Great video. Just picked up a duo. Praying I don’t need the iRig. Tried an iRig Pro Duo and the whole thing would work everywhere BUT spaces. Probably Murphy again…

What kind of input is there on the console? I honestly dont know, but that's a great question!
If its a TRRS connection, then you'd be able to hear gameplay and speak through a mic.
If its a TRS, like a normal mic jack, then you'd be able to send your audio out the console, but you'd have to listen to gameplay and chat on something else. Are there no other Rodecaster on Console videos out there?
@@Shreditor Will i think the controller 3.5 is trrs but i use a different method which suitse better i have a stealseries dac which plugs to the console through usb and it has TRRS input, i used a similar method to the one in your video back with my goxlr mixer it had line in and out puts Which i plug them to headphone and mic splitter that is connected to the dac and it worked with me with a couple of ground loops isolaters, but never thought it would work with the rode caster but u had a brilliant idea and i think it will work i just have one question do u have any ground loop issues? I know this would be much simpler with the iPhone 15 using the USB2 but I'm wondering if you still have lightning connections on your iPhone or iPad, does the SC19 cable work? Does Spaces follow the same protocol as phone calls with iOS? Because you can't record phone calls on the RCP via USB. You can only do it with Bluetooth.
It does not. I bought it because this was the first obvious solution to try, and it indeed failed.
It will always use the iPhone built in mic on the bottom of the phone as the mic instead of using the rodecaster, but it WILL bring in the audio from the iPhone into the rodecaster.
It’s like a 1 way valve, or a TRS connection. Only goes one way, not both.
I’m using an iPhone 15 pro max plugged in to usb2 (rodecaster duo though) - no adapter needed. Works great

Yeah. I think it is down to the lightning connection (SC-19). But I’m pleasantly surprised when I got my iPhone 15 to find out that it works with my RØDECaster Pro II. Been longing for this day since RØDE launched it. And coming from the original RØDECaster Pro, where I used to be able to take phone calls etc with my TRRS connection, it was certainly a bummer when I lost all that. Until of course USB-C came to iPhone 15. Thanks EU! 😉

I've experiecing problems with play MUSIC specifically with USB C / Iphone max pro and spaces, voice and everything is crystal clear, but music for some reason is causing "lyricals only" and weird issues.

I have no muffled sound using Bluetooth on my SM7B through RC2, maybe you received a bad unit.
You’re not talking about speaking on spaces. You’re talking about using Bluetooth to something that your rodecaster is hardwired to.
This video is specifically covering the use of a rodecaster for connecting to Twitter (X) live social audio.
I think if you have only rode trs to trrs cable you don't need nothing else mybe only the Dock doesn't
