Why Some Men Go Bald

- Although there are many bald celebrity icons like The Rock, Jeff Bezos, the Dalai Lama, and Shaquille O'Neal, losing your hair is not something men aspire to. We asked a dermatologist to explain the scientific reasons that some men lose their hair. Dr. Jennifer Chwalek is a Board Certified dermatologist at Union Square Laser Dermatology in New York. Chwalek explained that hair loss is not directly related to low levels of testosterone. Going bald is largely determined by genetics, and how sensitive a person's hair follicles are to a byproduct of testosterone called dihydrotestosterone.

Why Some Men Go Bald - Наука та технологія
Sadly i loss a friend to suicide because of his hair loss, he's a kind guy, and i think his early hair loss (23 yo) and bullying drove him to suicide. I know it sounds so silly but some people cant accept hair loss no matter what people said, i just wish that people take it more seriously not treating it as a joke.
Damn
Because being bald makes u look 100yrs older and all male who goes bald also suffer from major depresion. Not pne of them was happy to see their head going bald. But they learn to accept that they are already an ugly creatures
That fact that people in their 20s are still bullying people shows there's no faith in humanity

Mitochondrial dysfunction driven by the acne bacteria, which prefers dht rich secretions. Side effect of its feasting causes inflammation that causes gradual mitochondrial damage, and the body to swap to a secondary collagen producing gene that swaps body from creating papal cells to normal skin cells, which provide acnes less food, thus less inflammation.
Its like the body changing gears to avoid chronic inflammation, in an attempt to preserve mitochondrial function.
Most people don't realize that baldness, depression, prostate cancer, and acne all share common factors. Namely an immune response buildup of FGF9 in the brain, prostate, and anywhere certain forms of collagen are in rich supply.

wait so sensitivity to DHT causes balding (hair follicles closing up) but in the other video about why some men can't grow beards you guys said that sensitivity to DHT causes beards to grow. So why does DHT sensitivity for facial hair equal hair growth but DHT sensitivity on the head causes hair balding?
It’s because your hair follicles on top have the same sensitivity but the sensitivity due to the AR Receptors shouldn’t technically be on top. Genetics helps determine it. It’s rare for men to have both. There are men who have full heads with a big beard but then 40 hits? It’s fully gone. It just happens earlier for some.
The hair on top has a far greater sensitivity in men who go bald. Too much of the hormone binds and causes the folicles to shrink and become dormant.

about to hit 27, still no signs.
Instead of asking the dermatologist "How can we fix or delay this"..
Im 33 and started loosing my hair around age 22. Roughly. Main reason you loose hair is one due to alot of sex...... second no sun exposure on head or less vitamin d n fish foods....... also not cleaning head when its oily skin......... third is diet. If you eat fake food meaning anything not natural. Then that causes dirty skin....... lastly the tap water we drink has chlorine floride etc its dirty water. Solution is you can only maintain what you have or hair transplant
How to maintain listen carefully and share
Mustard seed oil mix with fungreek powder apply on head for least 2 hours a day
Garlic water. Get garlic clove crish and squeeze till the juice comes out n apply direct on head. Will feel little like burning but thats killing all the germs mainly
Red onion do same as garli cut n sqeeze juice out b apply. Mainly for 30mins to an hour max. Garlic n onion
Lastly message head lightly in morning for like just 5 mins or less
THESE ARE WAYS YOU WILL MAINTAIN WHAT YOU HAVE BUT THEY WONT REGROW LIKE YOU 13 yr old.
Never lose confidence thats the worse way to loose more more hair. Accept and make solutions. More stress more bad breath lol
Sleep least 8 hours don’t stare at phones like you becoming superman n as long as yourbrain works. Your beautiful male or female the heart is real beauty not skin or hair
Genetics are the greatest reason why
Johnny Sins is a great baldman
DHT doesn't cause the hair follicle root to shrink, mitochondrial dysfunction does.
DHT buildup is a side effect.
A synergy between the acne bacteria and the down regulation of a gene that creates a certain type of collagen causes the inflammation that causes the, eventual, mitochondrial dysfunction.
Do consuming Coenzyme Q10 for the rest of my life can prevent the mitochondria damaged prematurely?
How do you prevent mitochondrial dysfunction
Or how do you deal with it
Upregulating PGC1Alpha and Beta, which regulate Mitochondrial Quality Control, which many substances do.
I also take GAS6 activators, to counteract the negative effect of stress.
Corticosterone inhibits GAS6 to govern hair follicle stem-cell quiescence. Look up this study.

I'm 20 and my father side have a history of baldness, everytime I see a hair in my hand, I panicked. 🙃
Aww poor thing. How is it going now ??
No one talks why they loose their hair on top and not on the sides. And its pretty simple. The spots your pillow massages at night and keeps dry from oils not only help blood flow and skin thickness but also keeps your existing hair thick buy stretching the core. Tight ponytails helps growth and thinness/stronger core. Open your eyes ppl stop watching crap
if you're a lady and want to make your hair longer and stronger grab your plastic elastic or whatever hair clips ropes and give your hair a good stretch. it might hurt for a couple of days but you'll build tolerance and thick hair.
For gentlemen. massage your head in shower and also give them a good stretch while drying them out. Its true that long hair need more attention and you should give your hair in a daily dose. You make stronger what you work and you lose what you neglect.
This isn't really true. Hair on the sides isn't lost because it doesn't have the same androgen receptors as the hair on top. Hence, the folicles are shrunk and made dormant by over abundance of the hormone
Thanks dad
I love my hair. And I never wanna lose it!
