I have a 2010 v6, I already have the RV6 j pipe on there and i have the rv6 high flow cats otw. I am looking at different cat backs to put on it after and the takeda one sounds amazing! I bet it will also go well with my takeda intake!
Just grabbed a 2016 6-6 Coupe as a second car, first because it’s the last of the coupes and second because new Accords are just weak looking not to mention the best engine is a 2.O turbo which just doesn’t work like the J35. That Honda V6 is just a solid well built engine. Even though mine is 2016 I still love the look of the 8th gen , the rear end especially but the profile on both still look good in 2023. I am not sure what happened to the designers at Honda for these boxes they’ve released recently. I mean they look worse then a Ford Taurus. It’s nuts. I checked the video cuz I was deciding what exhaust to go with Takeda , Borla or Magnaflow. Car sounds and looks nice especially for a car that 10+ yrs old.
Thanks bro and congrats on the 2016 6-6! The 9th gen looks so agressive its definitely my gen! I def recommend the Takeda exhaust. Finna upload a video showing the full exhaust highflow cats, and jpipe soon
Are those factory spec sizing for the tires? They seem like they’re a bit wider. My 9th gen Sport came with 235 wide tires, but I eventually went as wide as 255 all around. I went with an 8.5” wide rim eventually, but 265 wouldn’t fit without rubbing, unless the offset was like +20 or less, and still had to run shims or bigger spacers.
@@imcalebfr I like the stock 18’s on the 8th gen 6/6MT as well, but they’re just so heavy. After I changed out to some light aftermarket rims, it made a whole big difference. I saved like at least ~20 lbs from each rim or so. Oh, and also, if you still have the car and decide to max it out to 255’s, you’ll be able to take up more wheel gap, since the 45 tall size sidewall is a steeper with 255’s, compared to 235-245.
Hey man I have the same engine 2009 but I’ve been wanting the takeda intake with the matching takeda exhaust and the rv6 but I’ve been second guessing is it worth it? Have you had any engine issues? Check engine lights? Is it still reliable? Mines at 140,000 running at 100% no lights and I don’t wanna fuck it up. So any issues so far?
That shit sound crazyyyyyy on yo car nice vid keep up the good work can’t wait for you to get a new gpro soon I need to see that car cut up!!!!!!!!!
Yeah I need an exhaust asap! Sounds good bro 🔥
thanks bro. yeah this exhaust is perfect for daily driving just enough and probably wont get in trouble with the law lmao
Damn this is sick bro

How you liking it so far? Post a vid bro!
Regarding the interior resonance, is that drone noise I'm hearing at about 1500 rpm or so?
Was there any drone with this set up?
No drone sounds perfect

i had no problems at all when i installed them, definitely recommend you buy them bro
Great video 🔥 any specific reason you chose the Takeda over the magnaflow exaust? Been trying to decide which one I should get
it looked more oem + for me, those big exhaust tips are beautiful to look at too!
I ain’t no car guy but this makes the car look sick. I have the same car. Do you take it to someone to install it?
thank you! i went to my shop to get the exhaust installed, but i installed the rv6 jpipe and takeda intake myself
what mileage you bought at? is it holdin up well for you since you almost got 180k? no major problems?
got it with 159k and its given me no problems. i do all the maintenance myself and its still running strong:)
BROOOO GET UR TIMING BELT CHECKED !! dawg my shit used to sound like that
i totaled the car 2 weeks ago but ill make sure i check for that when i buy another v6 accord
@@imcalebfr damn bro no way...sorry to hear that. hope you get another honda soon bro!!
