I think you’re right about the Nettles plot. In the books the only reason sheepstealer took to her is because she kept feeding the dragon over a period of time where others just tried to come in and claim her.

Rhaenyra & Daemon Whole Storyline Is So Good This Season) it's funny how i've saying for MONTHS that this is exactly what would happen, daemon with house bracken on harrenhal was him realizing he completely lacks the patience and the cautiousness needed to be king. rhaenyra at dragonstone is her realizing even her own council does not fear her or truly believe in her capability in times of war, she was too cautious and the enemy is now in advantage. daemon and rhaenyra's plot is basically them changing places, daemon is gonna have to learn to be cautious and rhaenyra will have to learn to be ruthless. daemon is gonna learn that rhaenya has the ability to trade with the common people that he does not. and rhaenyra is gonna learn that he has the commander in the battlefield and the sword ability that she does not. it's what emma said SEVERAL TIMES, daemon and rhaenyra can't show weakness in front of the other, and this is something they'll overcome. Rhaenyra's plot is good? With the exception of the fight with daemon, ive thought everything to come out of her mouth to be idiotic. Her speech at the end is nonsensical. Bitching about about being a cup barer and not a warrior. Like bitch, you had a front seat to see a king and his council rule, for nearly you're entire life. You were specifically trained to lead and rule. You wielding a sword or not is irrelevant to the skills you need now. What happens to aegon is why they wouldn't want you fighting even if a guy. Also your council is annoyed with you, 100% justifiably because you're not an asset but an actual detriment to your cause at the moment. You're in the most important moment and defining moments of your life and just dithering about doing nothing of value while actively risking everything.
Did you notice during the trailer that it appears as if Aemond actually pressed down on Aegon’s wounds? Right before the scene changes, you can see him press on Aegon and Aegon appears to let out a gasp of pain before it changes to the next scene. To me it seems Aemond will absolutely take advantage of Aegon’s bedridden state, maybe insult him or threaten him.
@@vjimenez8 as someone who’s team black, I kinda feel bad for Aegon. He’s so desperately seeking approval from everyone, especially his mom, but he’s just so bad at being king. Granted, he didn’t actually want the role and had no proper guidance on how to be a good king or human being, for that matter. With all that being said, he was a POS to Aemond all their lives, and until the moment he was burnt to a crisp, he still thought Aemond would be a loyal dog (calling him a hound). The show is supposed to be the “true” events for example in the books is said that Aemond purposely attacked Lucerys but in the show it was accidental. I don’t even recall anything about Daemon having these weird dreams of being this disloyal to Rhaenyra. I don’t think he’s fully out to betray her but trying to take the throne from her is obviously pretty disloyal. Also the weird dreams with his mom are new on the show which is a weird take for sure

Yes, but it's Ryan Condal and his head writers bringing the truth to Martin's story on screen with Martin's involvement. Martin's book was based loosely on history but with multiple different POVs. One Maester lived 100 years after the fact and another was completely made up. Mushroom's never around. It goes on and on.

Seasmoke is probably one of Dreamfyre’s kids just like Drogon and Bros. They designed Dreamfyre to look similar to Drogon for that reason to “wink” at the facts she’s their mom.

Aegon is only supposed to use poppy until he heals, after his fight with baela later in the timeline he breaks his legs and refuses the poppy saying he will never go back to living like that.
I don’t think sunfyre is dead. Criston Cole said “the kings dragon was long in the dying” so meaning he left men back to protect the castle and the dying dragon.
@@vjimenez8 I took it to mean, taking a long time to die, though not dead yet. Hence they left men there to guard and feed it. In parallel to what they are doing to Aegon. We probably won’t know for sure this season.
Hugh Hammer is nothing like he was written in the books. Starting to think they do something completely different with his character. I can’t see the way he’s been shown going the way it goes in the book.
I think his daughter got kidnapped then he has to burn tumbledton also his wife’s brother is there as well another reason why it’s so odd he burnt to to the ground he must have some powerful reason cause it seems so out of character for this show version.
I think its interesting that the cat paw didn't reveal a song of ice and fire to Aemond when it was near Sunfire's crash site. If there was anyone in King's Landing who could appreciate the Valyrian words it'd be Aemond.
I think Rhaenyra went to call for Laenor’s support instead of Daemon’s. That would make so much sense because he is not dead and he was scaring of her. Lol.

BOOK SPOILER: it would make Daemon’s disobedience to Rhaenyra more reasonable if Sheepstealer’s rider (Nettles in the books, who she marks as a traitor) was his own daughter. And it would make his sacrifice more impactful. I see what they COULD be doing. I just hope they do it WELL.

I can't seem to understand why scorpions are not employed to a greater extent.. if both sides just focused on making them, the dragons would be much less of an issue.. even vhagar could be shredded by dozens of scorpions.

I’m trying to not watch anymore episodes until I finish A Dance With Dragons. I’m only on the first book and so far, I’m enjoying it as if it was my first time hearing of the events of ASOIAF. I just learned about the lizard-lions of the Neck. I really want to skip ahead but I’m not too sure what to do. What do you think? i see many in the comments are getting tired of daemon's harrenhall arc, and im also becoming kinda over it too. but this literally happened in the books (him being stuck for a long period in harrenhall and harrenhall causing magical visions and alys rivers kinda leaning green/having her own unrevealed agenda). so ofc the show gotta do it. and if anything the show did so much more to that part of the books so that it turned out so much more interesting (by truly leaning into and expanding the magical aspects of harrenhall, and by contextualizing daemon's time there thru his conversations with others). so i kinda still appreciate the show's take on it
Rhaena taking Sheepstealer fits better with the context of the show, the Lady of the Vale will get the grown dragon she wants and the blacks will get her army, plus, is it me or there was some kind of "tension" between the Lady and Rhaena? wasnt she more inclined to the female companions?

If that one in the trailer is Seasmoke, damn he and Dreamfyre are definitely the parents of Danny’s dragons. They look exactly like them. Meanwhile you can see Vermax kind of looks like a cross between Caraxes and Syrax. Given they are very different looking dragons
It would make sense to give Rhaena the nettles plot as it would tie in nicely as why daemon would want her gone later on before the big season 3 battle as his affection for her would be obvious being her father

I definitely think rhaena is looking at sheepsteeler and it makes sense because remember in the books it is said that nettles was last seen riding sheepsteeler into mountains of eyrie. So may be in the show they are trying to show that sheepsteeler was in the eyrie from the start or it might have come there in the search of food or something.
I love this entire GoT universe. We know it’s fantasy & all that, but the money they spend to make all this seem real, the actors absolutely killing every character bringing it all to real life is amazing. It is crazy a show can make you feel this emotional. Like obviously we all want Daemon to live & just be the most bad a$$ there is, but knowing how each character’s story ends, even the dragons, really gets me upset. Each side just killing their own family & no side actually winning, in my opinion. Even with the the ending marrying the 2 children isn’t even a win. Aegon & Jaehaera are both basket cases & completely ruined because their own family, poor Jaehaera killing herself. Like I said, I know its fantasy but just beautiful how a show can feel so real

Nice catch with the smallfolk mentioning their sheep being eaten, tying in with Jayne Arryn also demanding a dragon’s presence in the Vale - to counter the wild dragon already there, not protect the Vale from the Greens, perhaps?
daemon was 6 years old when rhaenys tamed meleys, he probably tamed caraxes around 95 ac, around 14 years old. The earlier it is said daemon had caraxes was 105 ac, but it's clear he had claimed him far before this date (already tried to claim meleys at 6 and caraxes was riderless after 92 ac.)
My theory is that Lady Arryn assumes that Sheepstealer belongs to the Greens and it's the main reason she wants dragons to protect them. Sheepstealer probably thinking that there is new dragons in my Vale of Arryn. Sheepstealer is like a cat he has to assess the new rivals for mutton. That the humans of the Vale are only good for mutton and raising sheep.
I mean it makes sense also rhaena to claim sheepstealer lady jane wanted a big dragon so if rhaena can claim sheepstealer it means lady jane can keep her oath to rhaenyra. She also wanted a bigger dragon at her side because of what happened in the past when visenya and vhagar took the young prince for a flight that’s is why she fears vhagar.
Rhaenyra riding Syrax in the next episode could be to meet Addam. It's the same hair and outfit. I'm also rooting for the Rhaena/Nettles theory. Although I doubt they´ll make him that big, probably the size of Meleys or a tad bigger.
I agree, some other tubers are saying she's flying to Daemon in Harrenhall. I don't believe that. The show is supposed to be the “true” events for example in the books is said that Aemond purposely attacked Lucerys but in the show it was accidental. I don’t even recall anything about Daemon having these weird dreams of being this disloyal to Rhaenyra. I don’t think he’s fully out to betray her but trying to take the throne from her is obviously pretty disloyal. Also the weird dreams with his mom are new on the show which is a weird take for sure

Yes, but it's Ryan Condal and his head writers bringing the truth to Martin's story on screen with Martin's involvement. Martin's book was based loosely on history but with multiple different POVs. One Maester lived 100 years after the fact and another was completely made up. Mushroom's never around. It goes on and on.
GRRM has said in interviews that he based the ASOIAF universe on many real world historical events like the War of the Roses.

I don’t think sunfyre is dead. Criston Cole said “the kings dragon was long in the dying” so meaning he left men back to protect the castle and the dying dragon.

I’m trying to not watch anymore episodes until I finish A Dance With Dragons. I’m only on the first book and so far, I’m enjoying it as if it was my first time hearing of the events of ASOIAF. i see many in the comments are getting tired of daemon's harrenhall arc, and im also becoming kinda over it too. but this literally happened in the books (him being stuck for a long period in harrenhall and harrenhall causing magical visions and alys rivers kinda leaning green/having her own unrevealed agenda). so ofc the show gotta do it. and if anything the show did so much more to that part of the books so that it turned out so much more interesting (by truly leaning into and expanding the magical aspects of harrenhall, and by contextualizing daemon's time there thru his conversations with others). so i kinda still appreciate the show's take on it
Rhaena taking Sheepstealer fits better with the context of the show, the Lady of the Vale will get the grown dragon she wants and the blacks will get her army, plus, is it me or there was some kind of "tension" between the Lady and Rhaena? wasnt she more inclined to the female companions?

I definitely think rhaena is looking at sheepsteeler and it makes sense because remember in the books it is said that nettles was last seen riding sheepsteeler into mountains of eyrie. So may be in the show they are trying to show that sheepsteeler was in the eyrie from the start or it might have come there in the search of food or something.
I love this entire GoT universe. We know it’s fantasy & all that, but the money they spend to make all this seem real, the actors absolutely killing every character bringing it all to real life is amazing. It is crazy a show can make you feel this emotional. Like obviously we all want Daemon to live & just be the most bad a$$ there is, but knowing how each character’s story ends, even the dragons, really gets me upset. Each side just killing their own family & no side actually winning, in my opinion. Even with the the ending marrying the 2 children isn’t even a win. Aegon & Jaehaera are both basket cases & completely ruined because their own family, poor Jaehaera killing herself. Like I said, I know its fantasy but just beautiful how a show can feel so real

daemon was 6 years old when rhaenys tamed meleys, he probably tamed caraxes around 95 ac, around 14 years old. The earlier it is said daemon had caraxes was 105 ac, but it's clear he had claimed him far before this date (already tried to claim meleys at 6 and caraxes was riderless after 92 ac.)

My theory is that Lady Arryn assumes that Sheepstealer belongs to the Greens and it's the main reason she wants dragons to protect them.
Sheepstealer probably thinking that there is new dragons in my Vale of Arryn. Sheepstealer is like a cat he has to assess the new rivals for mutton. That the humans of the Vale are only good for mutton and raising sheep.
I mean it makes sense also rhaena to claim sheepstealer lady jane wanted a big dragon so if rhaena can claim sheepstealer it means lady jane can keep her oath to rhaenyra. She also wanted a bigger dragon at her side because of what happened in the past when visenya and vhagar took the young prince for a flight that’s is why she fears vhagar.
