@@iambella081 I'm pretty sure he FAMOUSLY CONDEMNED that kind of favoritism and spent most of his time with the poor, the sex workers, and the lepers..... Like Jesus himself is absolutely punk rock. The idea of loving so hard that you go out of your way to love absolutely everybody regardless of status-- even deliberately loving those that society tells you to ignore-- doing all that so hard that it pisses people off. That's life changing love. It makes me so wildly angry to see the way churches and scam artists have twisted the message to be literally the opposite.

One of the best documentaries I’ve watched anywhere! Back in 2008, I remarried and was introduced to a Pentecostal church who was all about Hillsong music. I noticed some strange things, but just figured I didn’t grow up Pentecostal, I grew up non denominational. 3 years into my marriage, I got breast cancer and had to have a double mastectomy. Right after I lost my breasts, my husband filled for divorce. Turns out, he had been cheating with another church member. I was in a bad place health wise. Once he left, the church left me too. It gave me church PTSD. I just worship Jesus on my own. I’m still single. I’m healthy now, reconstructed and my heart finally healed.

In a way I would like serving a position in a church, but not any of these heretical mega churches. And certainly not as a pastor. God gave me the gift of teaching. But since I never went to Bible school, I use my gift in helping people to stop trusting in the man-made doctrines and traditions of men, and using the scriptures alone. However, I know that I am more accountable to God in what I teach as opposed to just some dude attending church services. The more a person knows, the more accountable they will be on the Day of Judgement when God will judge every believer for what they did on earth as well as how they made use of the talents (spiritual gifts) that they were given.

The world is racing toward "AMAGEDDON" !!! And people need to get right with the Lord!
If you have not read the books of (Daniel chapters 7-12), (Ezekiel chapters 37-39) (Matthew chapters 24:1-51 + 25:1-30), (1 Thessalonians chapters 1-5), (2 Thessalonians chapters1-3) and (Revelation chapters 6-19), now would be a good time. They will explain a lot about what is going on right now!
These books will cover the "Wars" about to come, the catching up / the blessed hope, World judgement, hence the Tribulation and the Great Tribulation! These books will also be the most ominous and scary for the unbelievers and the most exciting and uplifting for those who believe in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior!...
It is my hope and prayer that people would repent and believe on the Lord Jesus Christ before all these things take place, because it is going to be very, very scary if you do not and you decide to wait and see what happens.

In 2001 I had an invitation to go to Hillsong’s school, right out of high school. A couple wanted to “bless me” and pay my way. I knew nothing about the church; they weren’t internationally known at that time I don’t think. I was so close to accepting but I never did. For over a decade I looked back on that as a missed opportunity as I watch that church grow. But as I matured in my faith I understood the pitfalls of a large church. I'm Australian where Hillsong originated from. This is NOT a church, it's a cult. The difference to this so-called church is the people who attend go there for blessings. A true Christian must not seek blessings they must be the blessing. How? By feeding the hungry, cloth the naked, give shelter to those in need and generally helping those who need help, this is Gods will.
Also a Christian must understand what 'Church' means. Church isn't a building or a religion, it means "all those who believe and have Faith in Jesus the Christ". You can offer nothing to God but filthy rags, you can only please God through Faith and do what he says, be the blessing expecting nothing in return, it's a real honour to carry out Gods will, the fact that you are doing his word, you are the blessing. I think these people probably started off with good intentions, but the more their church grew, the more it became about just becoming bigger.
The pride and ego comes in, they take their eyes off God, it becomes all about them, even deluding themselves that they're doing great things for God - while not seeing how far away they've strayed from anything that even resembles true Christianity .

I'm convinced that people don't understand what "don't judge" means. Those 2 words are badly overused today. While we can't judge an individual, we have a direct mandate to judge the situation. If someone is married, you don't get involved. It's very simple.

Yes, there are judgmental people in the church. There are also judgmental people in every day life. If you go to church just looking for judgmental people, you'll find them. But if you go truly seeking the Holy Spirit, you'll find Him. People see what they want to see. Besides, we're not there to worship the other people. There's one more thing that bothers me. I have never heard anyone who was doing right say, "Don't judge me." When people are doing right, they're not worried about it. Every time I have ever heard anyone say that, they were doing wrong. They knew in their heart that they were doing wrong and didn't want to be judged. I'm sick to death of the "don't judge me" thing. Personally, I won't judge them anyway. But, people use it as an excuse to do wrong and don't want anyone to say anything about it. It's just another one of Satan's tricks. He knows the Word of God better than we do.

Ive been involved in many open conversations about faith with very religious people and even the kindest of them end up judging others for their actions, thinking its oke to say you burn in hell forever and ever just because you didn't let Jesus take the wheel. What you want to see is a non judgmental group that love and supports others and so you block you the possibility that many people are just super judgy in nature, they think it's oke to think you burn forever and get blocked out of eternal bliss, just because you don't believe there is a big person in the sky behind the circle of life. If you say you don't believe in god people say people will tell you you're being rude but it's oke for religious people to tell everyone about their convictions, which are build upon a time we don't even live in, build on morals that are deeply flawed and build in a system where religion was used to control the mass, not to lift them up. Is interesting how that conversation always goes one way, even when you try to be open to it. The problem is that you need to KNOW that he is there as a true believer, which leaves out the possibility to accept that you might be wrong, which closes off the whole conversation/acceptance of others that don't. I've looked for faith, i really needed it and i tried, but in the end i could not find it and you should be oke with that and accept the chance that what you believe might not be true, we just don't know, there is just belief. If you can't accept that you instantly judge me as being wrong, which debunks your whole argument about being so accepting and non judgemental. It just doesn't add up man.

As a former “insider” of a mega-church myself, this Hillsong pastor is more the norm than the exception. The only difference is he got outed. That’s it. The staggering hypocrisy and secret double life of these “people of faith” would stun outsiders. Greed, sex, and outright lying is rampant in the evangelical world- especially among the household names and leaders. It’s a phenomenal business with a very slick product that has believers forking over their checkbooks at every opportunity. Look past the Hollywood stagecraft, private jets, designer suits, teams of image consultants, movie and music production, concerts, publishing arms, real estate holdings, political action groups and one sees a profit machine raking in billions TAX FREE. Plus immense political power and community influence all over the US and the world. They are only getting bigger, more powerful, and more influential with every passing day. The ONLY way to slow it down- but not stop it- is to take away the tax exempt status of all religious organizations, which will never happen in the US. I have no issue with a business making billions selling a product- but the tax exempt status allows unfair competition that other categories of business cannot claim. The loosely interpreted “prosperity gospel” has become a license to print money. Doubtful Jesus would approve since he clearly stated “easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than a rich man into heaven” or “give away all your possessions and follow me” or “blessed are the poor” and on and on…

Plus don't forget our been forced to go on a trip once a year for some American scammer to take more money from us. We are not well off due to ill health but we felt we had no choice but to go and got into more debt each time plus having to tithe. Lastly the judgement of everyone in that place judging appearances and private lives about everyone there so you knew they were doing it about you. You attending and finding God wasn't enough you had to have nice clothes and expensive hats. Never again for us because my God didn't come for the rich he came for the poor and sinners. It made me extremely uncomfortable to think that anyone anywhere would use behaviors like that in Church to try to get closer to a person they wanted to be in a relationship with. I personally would be very uncomfortable if someone came up to me unprompted and did something like that, knowing that they may have been "church stalking" me. I hope that helps to explain.

That wasn’t enough for them though, so instead of hiring assistants, drivers etc, they used people in their church as if they were indentured servants, and apparently treated them like crap, while not paying them for services rendered. How did they do that? By abusing their position of power, by acting like they were “god’s” special messengers, by pretending to be morally superior and by believing they shouldn’t have to go and earn money at an actual job bc that is below them.
They BOTH got caught up in greed and the “celebrity lifestyle” to the point they felt entitled and special.
At the first signs of infidelity, she could have left him, but that would expose his lies and put their lavish lifestyle at risk. I’m sure he lied to her, but she lied to herself too, not wanting her house of cards to fall down around her.
She wasn’t fired bc her husband cheated on her, they didn’t kick an innocent woman while she was down. They both got fired as a result of being greedy liars. Then they got rewarded with severance packages and a free mansion for half a year, paid for by Tyler perry!
I’m sure they will continue the grift for years to come.
No, if I feel sorry for anybody, I feel bad for their kids, seeing their hypocritical dad cheat on their mom, while preaching purity at everyone, and showing their kids they don’t have to earn a living, just steal/tithe from lots of other people with jobs. Run to Jesus!
      Trust in Him alone!

If you have defected from God then read these Scriptures: (Lost Sheep, Luke 15:1-7 - Lost Coin, 15:8-10 - Lost Son, 15:11-32 - Rich Man and Lazarus, 16:19-31) Jesus is calling you back home, read His word, believe and repent. Saved by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone!
      +
      +
May the Lord encourage you to seek the truth, in Jesus' name. Amen and Amen.

      Just to add on that,
BE AWARE OF THE FACT THAT GOD HATES ALL ARTIFICAL CONSTRACEPTIVES LIKE PILLS, CONDOMS ETC.
Not only is it sinful for people to use artificial contraceptives,
Jesus Christ (through revelation and visions)
      says some of them cause
ABORTION , EVEN CARDIAC ARREST/FAINTING/HEART PROBLEMS IN WOMEN.
Many of the diseases of the womb, birth canal, like cancer, fibrosis, stomach cancer, etc that women suffer today, its because of the ARTIFICIAL CONTRACEPTIVES AND ALSO BECAUSE OF THE CHEMICALS IN THE FOOD (esp fast foods) that people ingest.
Some dead Christian are in hell ....died of cardiac arrest because of these artificial contraceptives.
Most of them cause alot of complications (like diseases) and abortion in women unknown to them.
      SOLUTION
      1) Use prayer ,,,,asking God to close the womb if you dont want more children. God is the one who used to open and close the womb of Rachael, Hannah, Elizabeth , Rebecca, Sarah.
      God still does that today.
Artificial contraceptives including condoms, vasectomy, ligation, are all sinful.
      God hates them.
Some dead Christians are in hell fire because of these artificial contraceptives.
      Avoid them at all cost.
      2) If you have less faith (which is not good), then use the Rhythm method.
Let the woman observe her monthly flow...mark the days on the calendar and avoid meeting those times she is likely to get pregnant.
It is a natural method and God accepts it.
NOTE: DO NOT USE THE WITHDRAWAL METHOD LIKE ONAN IN THE BIBLE.
      GOD HATES THAT.
Withdrawal method is similar to masturbation. God these things.
      MORE THINGS TO AVOID ALSO
(For the married...for the single stay away from fornication and cohabitation)
      1) Avoid oral sex, ungodly sex styles like doggie, woman on top of a man, etc.
Only the missionary style (a man on top of a woman is accepted before God)
      2) Avoid the use of sex toys or objects in your marriage bed.
      3) Avoid sexy clothes like thongs, lingerie's, bikinis, batman suit, spiderman suit, catwoman suit which arouse lust.

It used to be just called ritual abuse. But people are afraid to use those two words anymore. But it's all the same. Cult abuse. Ritual abuse. Doesn't have to be satanic except in my mind, if you are threatened to give your money to a Christian church to keep you from "Satan," it's IS satanic fear and satanic abuse. When seeming to be on opposite ends of the line, when the line is circled up, they are side by side. Christian abuse can look satanic very very simply. I have my own story to tell. Megalo anything esp church, dangerous stuff. And it's all in the open and normalized now. Scientology. Megachurches. Gizillionaires taking food off of the tables of poor people without shame as they buy their fifth private plane, home and island. They don't care who or what is sacrificed for their ego. Dangerous stuff. Jim Jones. Cults are a slippery slope. And right now in the USA, they are no longer hidden. They are normalized. Sad. And many destroyed lives. It’s sad to see anyone that proclaims the name of Jesus to fail like this; it ruins his witness and credibility (Jimmy Swaggart comes to mind). And sure, you can be forgiven for your misdeeds, but it’s hard to win back the trust that human beings placed on you. it also shows that we are to worship the Creator and not the creation, as so many did in regards to Carl Lentz.

Pastors are to be paid with the tithe money because it's supposed to be their only job. That is not only giving preaching sermons weekly, but counseling during the week and giving service to their community and congregation when needed. It's a full time job. But this does not give them the okay to live like a king. Christ was a humble servant. Buying expensive clothes and cars is not being humble. Pastors should get enough to take care of their family. Offerings go to ministries, community services, church upkeep, etc. Study up on tithes and offerings in the Old Testament. Pastors also have to pay tithes and offerings too. God sanctioned this for those who did the sanctuary services.
