- My improved JJRC Q65 with smother suspension, WPL 2-speed gearbox with 370 motor and MN99 wheels (widend) on a terrain visit when the first snow for the season has just melted. With a 3s battery this car is rather quick and has still good low speed capacity in rough terrain. Fun to drive!

That upper suspension link's a superb idea, and the 2 speed gearbox really does give you the best of both worlds - great work!
Thank you very much Del! I´ve had problems before with the rear axle twisting and bending the leafsprings when stronger motor and bigger wheels have been mounted. The small link prevents that and I´m quite happy with how the car behaves now! 😊😊
@@Georgieframe There's a moment in the epic car chase in the movie "Bullit" where Steve McQueen's Mustang could have benefitted from a similar modification. He reverses very enthusiastically, and the axle tramp is very severe, though of course his leaf springs don't actually twist as our model ones can so easily do.
