We use Kirkland powder. We used to use Tide, but it was expensive. We do charge extra per pound if they want to continue using Tide, but it used to be our default. Liquid pods are expensive too, but they do help eliminate overfilling the machines with too much soap. So some folks are okay with paying more then dealing with too much suds. Some operations use bulk detergent by the barrel with its own pump. Just make sure you test out the soap and make sure it smells good. Also switching brands of soap has its own risk, because people may like the previous smell or they don't like change. So choose wisely.
Good job, Aaron! Lots of great information in a short podcast! Curbside rocks!
What’s the most common detergent do you use? Additives? Do you charge extra for each one? Powder, liquid or pods?
