I ordered an Envista Avenir, I know GM dessigned this vehicle to pull in younger buyers, but guess what, I think a lot of reiireees are going to buy it too, at that pricepoint you can't beat it.
I think you're right. I test drove the Preferred. While I wasn't sure what to expect I was surprised how well it drove. I think it'll work well for any age group.
Price is what the Buick Envista is all about indeed! Electric cars are way too expensive with premature infrastructure & technology! Green Deal is a money grab & a politicization, in my opinion, of the 🚘 automotive industry! ICE engines are my personal preference! Kudos to Buick for a stylish & apparently well engineered car starting at under $23,495! The 1.2 GDI 3 cylinder Turbocharged engine is peppy enough with plenty of ft/lbs of torque matched to a quality 6 speed transmission! FYI, if I purchased an Envista I would add a "nano lube" engine treatment to the 5W-30 which is the recommended viscosity oil for the Buick Envista. A nano lube engine treatment is ideal for GDI/Turbocharged engine protection against LSPI, LOW SPEED PRE-IGNITION! The little 1.2 Liter Envista engine I believe is a solid small powerhouse being very torque spirited & with the proper lubrication maintenance that 1.2 will last quite awhile!
Very nice car the Avenir trim is...except for all the piano black crap all over the dash and shifter/console area! I saw that the Preferred trim for $3K less has zero of that fingerprint-magnet crap.
The ALL-NEW 2024 Buick Envista comes with a solid power plant in its 1.2 Liter GDI/Turbocharged 3 Cylinder engine! The engine works well with a push from its high torque of ft./lbs. coupled to a quality performance 6 speed automatic transmission! The Envista is very sporty with a great flair of style to boot! The price is so refreshing (Preferred model starting at $23,495) with the high inflationary new car prices out there today! The 1.2 Liter GDI/Turbocharged 3 Cylinder runs on GM's recommended 5W-30 viscosity motor oil! The Buick Envista EPA mileage ratings are 28 City & 32 Highway=30 miles. I personally think one could obtain more mileage with gas/oil & tuner improvements! Thank you, Vinnie The Car Guru...
@@jdm1039 I went on a test drive yesterday. Too short. The drive is nice. Not too sure what I was expecting but it was good. At one point I exceeded 70 mph and it didn't feel like it at all. I told the guy I'm going to want to return for a longer test drive especially if I'm near making a decision.
@@Cruzan9 I would be interested to hear back about your follow up test drive and your final decision. All the reviews I have seen are very positive. Peppy, smooth, quiet, solid handling. From a looks perspective the car is beautiful.
Tiny engine aside, it has more than enough torque and power. The 'real' transmission is fine. I am averaging 38 mpg in mine. I'll take comfort , safety and luxury over speed any day.

Handsome Buick !
Are the seats on the Avenir real leather or leatherette just like the ST?

Very nice, only which it came with an awd.

Very nice.
The Buick concept car is the WILDCAT, not Hellcat. Hellcat is a Dodge Charger or Challenger.
Yes you are right I will fix it thank you so much
These are selling like hotcakes in china, i think they have a 2.0 4cl 200hp version over there…
The tiny engine and low horsepower is lackluster but not a total dealbreaker especially if you're on a tight budget.
All the reviews I have read / watched report that the engine is peppy.
