All sporty and or elegant looking Buicks: 2018+ Regal Sportback (actually an Opel), 2018+ Enclave, 2017+ Lacrosse, etc. These are highly competitive from a looks perspective. His delivery on all of the details for these vehicles and comparisons is like an amalgamation of Wikipedia, Google, and back-in-the-day Encyclopedia Britannica. The dude just knows his facts between models and upgrades from previous years. It's outstanding! I've tried giving other auto channels a try, but they aren't reliable, consistent, or coherent like Redline. You can tell the automakers respect Redline too bc he's invited to their locations and given vehicles to test sometimes for a whole week! PLUS he can give honest comments and negative critiques too about what he thinks an auto is lacking. I enjoy his full commentary and reviews! #BigFan

Buick has had some sharp looking cars over the last 5 years or so, some duds, but some truly underappreciated vehicles. I still think a satin metallic Buick enclave last gen is quite elegant and sporty looking. As far as power, they have cars on both spectrums... 2018/2019 buick lacrosse v6 is an extremely potent fwd sedan and the 2018+ Enclave is quite peppy even if mellow. Then you have vehicles like this and some of their smaller crossover and they are absolute snails...

They can do quiet and comfortable, but struggle a bit with everything else. I remember Hollywood Squares giving away Buicks...made me want one lol...

We are a young family and the first things I noticed are the rear legroom and storage. This car looks like it will easily accommodate rear facing and upright car seats and the trunk will fit our stroller. I like that there are cupholders in the back - this is an unfortunate miss on the new Trax. The plastics are actually a positive for me because they are so easy to wipe down. It is nice to see Buick is branding more of a family car.

I wish Buick would allow different ways to trim up their vehicles. I want the exterior look and design of the ST trim and the more luxury interior design of the Avenir trim. Many newly designed cross overs, hatche backs, and mini uts have stepped away from "upright rear glass", as those definitely need wipers. Slanted rear glass effectively helps to make rear windows more aero dynamic, less likely to build up road splash back grime, eliminating need for wipers. A rear defroster is best for iced rear glass as you never needed wipers on a sedan.

They spent all the money trying to produce stylish vehicle, and then just threw a bunch of crap at it to make it hit a price point. The interior plastics are absolutely pathetically cheap. The infotainment/gauge cluster screen is laughable. Small displacement engine is going to be highly stressed, causing increased wear and shorter life expectancy. @@phw2274 yes, my Prius was $2,000 over invoice but very hard to find a Limited AWD in Guardian Grey. Buick ranks 3.5/5 and 13th out of 32 manufacturers. Toyota is 4.0/5 and 8th out of 32 manufacturers. This little 1.3 3 cylinder turbo will have a life span of 80-100k miles, those little turbocharged engines run hot and heat up all the components. I own a cherry Honda S2000 AP1 and this is why I haven't put a turbo or supercharger on it, it'll wear out the motor.

Problem with the rear wiper blade was motorists complaint when they took their vehicle to a full service automated Car Wash that it got damaged in the Car Wash Spining Brush. Now if the Buick Envista had a brow at the top of the rear window that could conceal a rear wiper beneath, it would prevent the wiper arm being exposed over the rear window. Perhaps if the rear window is treated with rainx on a clear day, it might make it easier to repell rain from the surface of the glass, thus increasing visability. Long ago, I remember some cars had a stylish black vented rear window cover which reduced glare and rain drops; gave the driver increased visabilty. I also saw it on the Lotus Europa. Gave the car an armoured mad max style. Also reduced interior overheating when the car is parked exposed to direct sun light.

I like the external looks of this. A compact SUV with a sporty coupe vibe like the Mazda CX-30. Seems to have more rear seat room than the CX-30 though, but shares a less usable cargo area due to the sloping tailgate . Comparing similar trim levels, I would definitely opt for the KIA Seltos which is better in every way,. Also the 2024 Hyundai Kona blows this away.
No rear wiper on this is absolutely ridiculous, as well as no air vents in the rear seat. Not to mention it’s not AWD which is especially important to those of us that live in snowy regions. It may be slightly cheaper than the competition, but you sacrifice some pretty important features.

Watch out for that oil on the ground. Don't step in that oil! NOOOOOOOOOOO!
As a side note, I hope that oil on the ground didn't come out of that Buick because that was NOT a "small" oil leak.
And my final side note...that is a damn good-looking vehicle. I have no interest in these little compact "SUVs", but I definitely wouldn't be embarrassed to drive around in that thing. And it says a lot that I love the looks of this thing considering what GM's insane design team has been doing for the last decade or so. I guess they had to hit rock bottom before their phoenix-like comeback because the styling on their newest vehicles (this thing, the Colorado and Canyon...which IMO went from the WORST-looking trucks in that segment to THE BEST in just one generation, which is impressive) have improved substantially over the last year or two.
