  • Footage from my trip to shoot my "Guide To" with some tips, tricks, and a whole lot of firewood preparation.
More of an informal Vlog style which will hopefully begin to include some bushcraft amongst other things.

Superb video and fantastic location. What a holiday you had! Better than Tenerife for sure🙂 Rum is beautiful. I was in the other bothy Dibidil. I would never think you can find so much driftwood but you convinced me... Will try something similar. The idea to go at this time of the year to these remote places for more than one or two nights is brilliant. Thanks.

I've yet to go to Dibidil, I reckon I'll go in the coming months so I can get the Cuillin Traverse done on the way. I was really surprised by the amount of wood in the bays in Rum (also a little disheartened by the amount of stuff washed up on the remote beaches).
Going for a few nights helps me get the feel of the place. A wee stop is always great but engaging a bit more with what's there is a luxury of a sort - especially at this time of year when footfall isn't so high.
