Thank you very much! IT's taken a while to get out and get the next one done, but it's up tonight and the follow on from it should be good from next week. Take care!
That was really special and so beautifully edited and filmed. Really hope you get lots of subscribers cos you deserve them and I want more of exactly this sort of UA-cam magic. Thank you.
Thank you very much! I'm still very new to the idea of posting regular videos, so this encouragement is very much appreciated - thank you. Hope you're having a great day.
Absolutely FANTASTIC video, good sir! I'm so happy to have discovered your channel. I'm a world away here in the northwest United States, and we just don't have anything like bothies in this neck of the woods. Watching your adventures is a real pleasure, and you particularly are a blast to watch. Stellar footage all around. What a time this must have been! My favorite part... and I know this will sound odd... is how you always address the firewood situation when you're at these remote bothies. I watch a lot of bushcraft & camping videos, and my favorite part is watching the firewood processing and all that. It's strangely therapeutic! LOL. Keep up the amazing work, my friend. Cheers, Watson PS: Oh, and if you are, indeed, asking us for suggestions regarding places we'd like to see you visit... Abyssinia Bothy comes to mind. It's famously haunted! Plus, it's situated in a forest area, so you'd have NO problems finding firewood! Take care!
Ah, thank you and I'm very glad you enjoyed it. I'll endeavour to devote a little more time to the firewood aspect in future. Abyssinia will now be on my list of ones to come and I do enjoy the back story behind a lot of them. I'll hopefully visit it in the next month and pop a video up. Thank you for the suggestion!
Thank you very much. They're an odd (and great) thing. Great to visit and I'm hoping that the more sustainably people visit and engage with the MBA the better.
Ah, I'm glad you enjoyed it and thank you so much for the kind words. The bothy is well kept (but I'm in no way associated with the MBA, I should point out). Hope to have another video up soon :)
Aye, Strabeg is a fine bothy in a great location. Allway,s carry fuel in, yep it,s heavy, but if yer wanna comfy night? Kervaig was a fav bothy, one on a cliff near Arisaig,(non MBA), and Oban.
It's not bad place to be snowed in (Especially if you have coal with you). I think I'll be heading back there in Winter on the off-chance I get lucky and get some snow again!
Well done mate enjoyed your video?👍until the next video 🍺CHEERS🚴

Another brilliant video. You give the viewer the emotion what staying in bothy may be if you do it right. Beautiful area too. Atb for more trips.🙂

Really great film 👍🙂
Thank you very much. It was a lot of fun to make and the process, from setting out all the way to editing, is lot of fun.
@@scottishtones 👍
That was captivating at so many levels........well done to you and the bothy association!

Congrats to both you and the bothy peeps@@scottishtones
A glorious bothy video. Thanks for sharing sir.
Thank you! Glad you found it enjoyable! They're fun to make. The main danger is the editing process leads me straight back to another bothy!
10:58 unbelievable scene!Amazing video mate, keep’em coming
You're a good man, Jordan.
Great channel, great content. You have gained a subscriber 🏴
Ah, thank you very much. Glad you enjoy and if you ever have any suggestions for videos please let me know!
A video on how you plan a bothy trip. How you plan your route to the bothy, how you know if there is a water source etc

I'll get to looking into that one near Arisaig as Oban has been on the list of desirables for a wee while. Thank you!
I had to give a thumbs up, just to pay my respect for suffering the wet, freezing boots. 😅
Oh they were so cold. The stream had swollen in the rain so I had to go in up to my shins on the first walk in. Uh, the soggy-footed sadness.
I want to get snowed in there

You need a sledge
I absolutely do. It's getting packed for every subsequent trip now!
