I've been following this channel for a while now, but commenting for the first time. The conversation was thought provoking. However, the consensus that seemed to emerge from this conversation didn't sit particularly well for me. Then it reminded me of the red pill vs blue pill debate from the matrix movie. My own two cents: as long as there are flexibility in the system, it has the potential to correct itself. Rigid systems usually break rather than bend. The Russia example is particularly pertinent here. The fall of Soviet Union and reconstitution of Putin's Russia is very interesting. The reasons and consequences are still highly contested (including how does a rigid system reforms itself). Anyway, thanks for letting us hear these conversations (as long as it doesn't lead to a system that censors future conversations).
I’m glad someone else felt the same way. This one shows a strong left-wing bias and a simplistic view that a so-called 'far right' is somehow the root of all problems which led to this 'victim' mentality that has eroded culture on a global scale. Twitter discussion was good example in this conversation Elon just made it more community driven and now people are going back to early days of twitter.
Holy shit, that is a brilliant idea. I'm going to try to focus on traditional newspapers for over the next month as a personal experiment instead of spending time on social media news and definitely staying away from the comments section...
Ozair - you are a smart intelligent intellectual- why don’t you have a session leveraging senior economists technocrats and create a vision for how to resuscitate the economy over a five year period. It could include the migration of low manufacturing jobs supply chain moving from your friends with highest mountain deepest ocean sweeter than honey characteristics. It just is incongruous that no one in Pakistan has targeted and developed a plan with white paper to set targets around this opportunity.
@Uzair, amazing podcast. Fasi is one of those people who can be listened to all day even if you're disagreeing with him. More such guests please!
Thank you!

PGC guards are trained to beat students, was happening in 1998 when I was there. So breaking a leg could happen.
Conversation is good but what if it were in Urdu language to reach masses of Pakistani people.
