- I tried to fight elite enemy in Simulated Universe World 4 Difficulty 2 with tank build and my usual Free characters team. BUT I am 10 levels under these enemies. It took me 13 minutes and something happen....

For those after running out of turns or running out of possible options. Force quit the game and relogin, you'll start at the part where you left. The boss will reset

So this is their anti delaying tactic mechanic. There is no timer but they get more more damage.

thats called an "enrage mechanic" in mmo terms
well its not technically anti delay... its apply to all elite/boss SU every couple of charge attack they stack 10% dmg for the entire run but if you break that it will "reset" until they reapply it and continue the stack in sense of if boss have 4 stacks and u break the bar it will gone but when the boss charge again it will start from 4 or atleast that is from what i observe
actually there is a maximum turn you can take in the game, it is just so hard to get to
"try abundance" they say "it's the easiest one" they say.
I am ashamed that i found out about this mechanic on my own
to be frank it is go full dmg dont worry about anything else

It's only good if you get the dewdrop, otherwise you do no damage
Without abundance I couldn’t have cleared world 6 lol but sometimes it is more worth it to just rush through with the hunt or destruction or if you have Clara or Jing Yuan, elation.
learned it the hard way when my team went to world 6,15 underleved and literally spend 30 minute until i got the achievement for taking 100 action in one battle(its probably more💀)
Same I had it run on auto in the background though😊
Got that achievement in world 5 against kafka. I ran nihility main and got mostly healing and abundance
My only damage that time was welt and sampo
I got it a world 6 but not auto I play to it(and I don't speed it up)
I’ve gotten the achievement for taking 100 action in battle but it was because I was exploiting Welt in SU to delay enemies so bad that they never got a turn because I had bad damage lol

I just wanna say I was in a fight for 27 minutes, World 6 with abundance, I got the enemy super super low, to the point where the hp bar was too small to move, all my characters were full HP
And then this dude just does a chain AOE attack and kills my whole team literally one round before his death

Literally cocolia on her final bar and me strategically waiting for both pillars and storm to attack and then trigger both natasha and fire mc ult for defensive buffs to tank cocolia only for the storm to freeze *both* fire mc and natasha and then cocolia instakills everyone.

try use preserve fire mc,hunt user,serval/jin,nata take all the preserve you can it will deal over 13k alone and if the auto play corect the shield wont die either kekw

not to mention he's 10 level under the enemies and the fact he don't do much dmg probably because of the light cones he use and relics
Tbf, leave them unattended then those mobs could make a huge dent especially when you're under leveled.
But, yeah, considering he didn't even able to clear them in times, it's way better to just focus on the boss. He already make sure none of them will self detonating anyway

So players don't get bored of playing stall tactics with each battle taking more than 15 minutes
@@sanstheskeleton679 It's less about "getting bored" and more about cheese. There are people who love stall tactics, or are trying to do challenges way before they are expected to, and this keeps them from doing it by abusing game mechanics too far.

@@Naokarma its not abusing game mechanics. stall tactic is a tactic. And requires you to stack the proper buffs(which is RNG) and build your character and team for that role. And you still need damage since some enemies can heal, and WILL out heal your damage.

I can imagine Herta looking outside from the SU and got bored because it took so long to kill so she goes "fck this sht!" and buffed the enemy instead of helping us
i iwll say, focusing on killing the main bot with dan heng instead of using him to take out smaller bots was probably the best idea here, you probably wouldve won

Each Simulated Universe especially W4 and W5 felt easy to me since Blessing of the Hunt is cracked, especially the resonance where killing enemy recharge the bar. Lan never dissapoints his homies
You need try use remembrance on Kafka and svarog is fucking illarius

I got into 87 boss buff stacks with kafka on SU on the very last 30% hp too..., and thats how i found out about this kind of mechanic 😂

I have jing yuan now i just stack hunt and elation buff on my su runs
that's different, Kafka's one is per turn=1 stack
also doesn't increased that much dmg (kafka's about 2% each while in this video's 40% each)
this is why I chose perseverance cuz it doesn't matter if my heal is 10k if dan heng's on the floor

Many people (like me) just get either defeat enemies faster or get obliterate way faster before this "buff" active XD

Preservation and Abundance are obviously good defensive option. But without well-built dmg dealer or proper buffs, you'll only run out of time.
I'd suggest to use Destruction for underleveled/undergeared team. It's risky but also provide great survivability and the dmg is based on lost HP, unlike Preservation and Hunt that the dmg is based on character build
You know because of a certain post that memes about destruction path I unconsciously avoid it, but I ended up trying it once and got a LOT of nihility card... As someone who practically mains Welt it was absolutely busted how I can just spam his ult and skill to stun lock the enemies while dealing tons of dmg at the same time

I cleared World 6 with preservation path. First try.
I will defend the destruction to my dying breath because it saved my ass in SU3-6

And this is why I choose the path of destruction. Shields me, heals me, buffs me and then does free damage for me. People say its risky, but that is the only way I can clear this at all. Nanook really does go berserk when allies are on low health.
I found out about this while trying to do World 3 difficulty 2 when all my team died except Bailu, I was doing a good job staying alive till Gepard got buffed
Try the hunt. Gives you speed and more crit and overall dmg. Less reasons to use healer and shielder, the better. You need those skill points for dealing dmg
Going for abundance resonance with full destruction buffs is very strong since you really don't need to bring healers and the damage is cracked.
Try remembrance on everything except for Cocolia one. It just freeze and deal a lot of damage from those blessing. For example, deal 30% of enemy max HP, freezed enemy receive more ult damage about 30%, guaranteed crit.
Also, I recommend to choose secondary path resonance that reduce boss freeze resistance and then Eonian River debuff.
It look weak because it so underated. You can still play it even if your team have only March 7th. But more powerful if you have Pela or Yanqing.
Pela is currently a good option to deal with opposing buffs... I myself run a Pela(for debuff)/Tingyun(atk buff)-Bronya-Seelee-Natasha
Pela's skill can negate opponent buffs entirely and also reduce their defense (Let's say they stacked up 10 buffs, use skill once, the entire stacks clears out and they get a def reduction)
P.S I'm f2p but try to get Bronya/Welt/Gepard/Bailu all of them are top-tier support
Edit 1: Also try to stick to one dps (Serval Landau and Dan Heng are both medium dps, I'd say either keep to erudition or to Hunt and use the extra slot for Harmony/Abundance/Nihility... and also try not to use two tanks... March and Pyro Cael are both tanks...
lmao, I found this out too when I did a full tank build 2 weeks ago. Although have you considered a build with Nihility path? it does a lot of Damage over time once you ramp up enough stacks (for elites / bosses). The other debuffs are also pretty good for keeping your team alive in general.

I run nihility path just for the jades yesterday and I totally loving it lmao, and elation too

@@ShinTsurugi7 yeah full tank build really great if you have gepard, do nothing and the enemies bleeding because shield reflect, and that spicy resonance dmg that do crit guaranteed, nothing can make path of preservation fail to shines (except kafka on world 3, with her charm skill)

I now remember those days when I had to clear world 4 with under leveled characters, it took me 40 mins to kill the boss it was real hell 😭
5:04 You might still can win by breaking the boss though, if your trailblazer's atk is high enough.
I discovered this on my own, i was on my first try at world 5 on the path of preservation, in one of the elite bosses, all my team except for the fire trailblazer got down, but since it was maxed out and i had a remarkable amount of blessings of preservation, she managed to resist 10 minutes more after the first "berserk mode" happened lol
This is what raiders call an ‘Enrage’ - When you take too long to defeat a boss, it’s programmed to kill the entire party in the next available attack. E.g. FF XIV’s Savage Raids.
Granted, these windows are a lot less tighter.
That's why you sometimes should eliminate bosses as fast as possible like Automation Grizzly (The boss in the video) so it won't buff itself and becoming almost too impossible to counter it's attacks by the shields and HP, but thanks for that warning if we've bumped into it unintentionally.
That's exactly why I've stopped doing a defense build. You can't slowly hurt the boss and heal gradually to win, so there's no point in making yourself punch-proof

And after the boss' damage is boosted high enough, all my team members died in 1 hit (All full hp)

Never have i scream "GO ALL IN!!!" so badly dude 💀💀(seriously though, if the enemy boss is as thin as tissue and you know that anytime the boss can kill you with their ultimate, just go all in, especially when their weakness is just a few more hit for it to break)
I had this happen but the enemy I was fighting was the fragmentum chick that summons the fragments of remembrance so she got stuck in an infinite cycle of getting frozen, getting broken, and then using her turn to prepare a move she would never get to use because she was just going to get frozen and then broken again.
The buffing did not matter, and I then managed to go on to win that run. The blessing I got from her was the one to actually make my build viable.
Tips for W6 - Use Preservation for Gepard(Or March 7) + Fmc, you'll need stack a lot of shield before using the Path of Resonance(Deals damage from accumulation of shield)
I got this when I was in world 3 (..yes world 3..) and underleveled and was on my second boss but then my dps (seele) died and then bronya too so Gepard and Natasha somehow survived and then yeah I got the “100 turns in one battle” achievement too

Happened to me once when both of my dps characters died. I got stuck in an endless loop of March shield -> Nat heal -> follow up stuff until I couldn’t anymore
I always have a healer in sim universe and mainly focus on attacking the enemy and shield if absolutely necessary (when close to 0 HP).
Yep, and 1 of my character died when fighting Cocolia with Abundance Path for too long. Luckily, I can finish her right after that
i found this out the first time i took on world 5, i took remembrance path with no ice and just welt to constantly delay kafka
although i unlocked achievements about continuous turns, this thing happened and she wiped my full health team with her one action of putting those tiny balls on the floor AND SHE WAS AT 1% HP IT TOOK ME SO LONG TO GET THERE 😭😭

Idk if ever get this when fighting Cocolia in World 6...since halfway through my game suddenly kick me out
So i ended using auto attack and that took almost 30-ish minutes
(i guess since i kinda left & come back only to see Cocolia still have 20% hp left)
I once was in SU when all my characters were down except Herta. The enemy (I was on the boss level) had an attack where he non-stop attacked Herta with the same attack until it killed her. ( He attacked her like 6 times in a row)
I thought I was going to solo Kafka with fire MC and abundance. I learned about this mechanic the hard way 😅

LMAO I just experienced this. Good things it happened when the enemy hp already low. But at that moment is when I regretted my party set up😂

heh this was me with the gepard boss and i'd been defeated in world 3 three times prior on the same day and i just gave up it was too stressful

I remember losing to mini boss like this as well. I was under leveled so I thought I will just bring a turtle comp (trailblazer fire, march 7th, bailu, and 1 dps). Suprised to see berserk feature and just lost on the first miniboss 😅
It happened to me when i was underlvled and stalling the stage with abundance path, i had less to none damage 😂
This happened to me once.
I was playing a random team i made up, its just actual pure
damage
Dan Heng and Seele for the damage
Himeko for the fire weaknezs and crowd control and March for the shield
I wasn't paying attention but it was the boss with the fire sword, managed to sweep my team leaving only March, I have built March as a tank and uh yea needless to say that boss was having 6 phased ice going through its noggin every move,
Everytime i can, i shield up and anytime else I shoot
This happened while i was chipping the damage away, seriously the boss literally had atleast 10-15% HP left when the berserker thing activated and killef march.
Literally how it was in world 5 for me since i was under leveled and had gepard, natasha, and abundance. Dont even know how i beat kafka, but man, it was so rewarding to get a 5 star relic while underlevel.
well that why i change to use the hunt on every SU run now the blessing is give just so so good tho.

As a seele main, i never encountered this so it's a surprise for me that this exist

Even though my team's average level was between 40-50, I managed to defeat Cocolia, who was at level 65. Although it was challenging to overcome the elite monsters when they fell into a violent state, I worked hard to lead my team to victory. :)
remember to go for preservation/destruction path, that is if u got a shielder like gepard or hook
It happened to me when I was fighting Gepard and the Silverlance Guard guy, I was a bit underleveled and those two are so stupidly tanky XD.
Dang, I didn't notice it even though I already experienced it in SU 2 (I mean, I got elite that's bugged and then after that it's a boss fight immediately in the next portal).
Also one of the reason why my team can holding out the boss for so long before all died, because I have Bailu and M7 on the same team, and one of the main problem is that... The boss freaking spammed me the detonating robots and taunt, like come on, I also want to finished it up soon and the levels for my team are only under level the boss likes 2-5 level...
Glad, I've got my revenge!

To clear up some misunderstandings in comment I need to say this
-When I said I was 10 levels(maybe more) under the enemy, So that you can understand why my characters deal very little damage to enemies in this video. I am not complaining at all.
-When I said "It took me 13 minutes to get here", I mean this entire one Elite boss fight took me 13 minutes for them to enter enrage state.
-At the end I also looks like complaining but what I mean was So be it. I don't know why I put the words like that (I think I should check my words before uploading the video, damn english is hard) but my real reaction it's actually "yeah whatever"
I took this run actually to try out if I can do stalling strategy with Preservation Blessing but it's my 1st time trying it and I know I was gonna fail. I mean it just a test run and it's not 100% will work anyway. I saw some people understand that I use stall strategy so you see right through me.
English is not my 1st language so sorry if there is wrong words and spellings. This probably the cause of misunderstanding in comment too.
I upload this video because I want to share this with other(So other will know there is this enrage mechanic in SU) and share the moment as well.

Clara and Low HP characters: MORE!
that's probably what happened to me when I played against Kafka. She is pretty tanky and when I was 10 levels under her, by the time I got to her 3rd lifebar she hit criticals for more than 2.5k hp and oneshot everybody but gepard with it. I could only beat her with abundance and getting cards that raise the hp of my characters above what she could nuke.
When i first unlock world 3 i thought that turns is like the enemy skill or something, i never knew it was like that... Hmm the more you know... I guess
The best way to mitigate it with a team that is built around Perservation.
I have Gepard so now i don't Run MC anymore. With Natasha and Qingque and Serval, my teams sometimes doenst even take damage.
I had a battle against the 2 big elemental dude's and they defeated the only character i had that could break the ice one, somehow i managed to keep myself with march and a healer (i also got the achievement where you lose a lot of hp in one battle) until the DMG up got so high it defeated both (i had the rememberance path but it resisted the ice)
I've been in this situation several times, J normally win with almost died team and immediately quit with the artefacts
So this is how they cauntered the tank builds.

I almost hit this when I went to world 4 for the first time xD was wondering what it did, but managed to kill the mobs before it came up
I speed through simulated universe because at the moment Im only playing it while waiting for trailblaze power to replenish as I gear/prefarm for my characters as I approach TL 50, currently 47. I take bosses out in two minutes, max, or they kill me, in two minutes, max. I had no idea something like this could happen omg that's AWFUL
I found out this mechanic by my own thank god to Gepard and preservation path though lmao they just hit themselves harder
As far as i can remeber this has also triggered for me in normal game. Don't ask me how i did this
I did that on kafka with blade solo, survived 2 of that buffed attack
If you don't get the attack bonus with abundance this is guaranteed to happen
Funny how the main trio stay alive.
Preservation is best used with Tanky character such as Gepard which currently the best tank ingame rn

I wanted to try out Abundance 🌾 and my characters were quite unkillable which was a fun experience. I've killed the boss eventually but the whole World took me over 40 or rather even over 50 minutes to complete 💀
