For those wondering, yeah Aventurine lived but from my understanding, he found his real path to be Nihility? The creator of this video cut an EXTREMELY important conversation between Aventurine and Acheron before that little cutscene at the end. Acheron said she cleared the Harmony curse off Aventurine so he won’t die. He will be dwelling in the Abyss of Nihility until he comes back. Though this means Aventurine will be absent from events, atleast he’ll come back some day.
“Your gamble is far from over. Go back now.” -Acheron
In the last cutscene he was saying goodbye to his past but the cut context just makes it looks like Aven died lmfao.

Also you what Dr. Ratio gave Aventurine the thingy popped out in some of the dialogues with Ratio saying he wants aventurine to live so aventurine never dies I suppose.
IKR SOME1 FINALLY GETS IT. Ive been going over in twt, fb, hell hoyolab, and even here, somehow they r just straight up killing him off, do they not read the dialogues? He talked abt his family, and how he will reach to them someday but not now. Thats obvious he aint dying since his family is dead.
Acheron literally wishes him good luck for his next goals and that he's going in the abyss, if he comes back alive is another one of his gambles.
Idk why ppl r missing it out.

TLDR (spoilers for 2.1 ahead): Aventurine tried to negotiate with Sunday, Aventurine failed and so Sunday put a curse on him which is basically a ticking time bomb, now Aventurine has 17 system hours left to live, Aventurine makes a plan, Acheron uses her Emanator powers to remove the curse from Aventurine
Acheron deserves props here. Aventurine's plan is very smart obviously, but the fact that she understands what he's doing when he says "I know you'll match my wager" and then she chooses to draw her blade is proof that she's just as intelligent because she realized his gamble and helped him win it without him even having to explain it first. Getting to see her full power and burst in a cinematic form is also super cool
This is getting way too insane in every new patch with mind-blowing events, I knew Aventurine would be a boss, I can just sense it by his demeanor.

Aventurine's gambit of having this fight was really smart, win or lose he would prove to everyone that 1000% nobody can die in the Dreamscape
The idea was to prove that people can die in the Dreamscape, not the other way around
@@LiterallyAnaYes and no. You can't die in the dreamscape. What happens is that you would wake up. However, other means like the meme making you dead spiritually instead, putting you in a coma, or someone who can break the barrier with sheer force alone can make you "die". You go to the hidden side of Penacony from there
Even way funnier that Dr. Ratio already figured it out lmao. He just instructs Aventurine to "take a medicine" he gave to him when he is "dying", which happens to be a note that revealed the truth about "Death".

@@haz_gaming6636 they explain it in the 10 stonehearts entry iirc. The stonehearts is but dust on the Preservation but it allow the 10 stonehearts to temporarily access the power of an emanator (from previous lore, emanator could be Diamond - the head of the 10)

I mean, yes and no. He did lose the fight, even he knew would lose but won the gamble and war. He betted on him knowing he would lose and got what he wanted. Chad material. Though he wasn't acting around with the last attack. He genuinely launched a massive scale attack because how else would he make an Emanator take him seriously. But props for willing to die.

And aventurine said it himself, only acheron could beat him at that time.
This is the best story, soundtrack, battle and plot of the year tbh. I dont think any of hoyo games would beat Starrail's Penacony Arc.
I feel the same. Adventurine became my favorite hoyoverse charavter after this.

Nope. Too early. There are other game arcs from different Honkai games that peaked more than the incomplete story of Penacony yet.
The Elysian Realm arc still rules better than Penacony. Both arcs are envisioned by Shaoji as well.
Not including FIREMOTH arc of Honkai Gakuen either.
But sure, you can say that since despite the common writing theme of Shaoji's amazing use of murder mysteries and red herring techniques, the story's theme is different and thus I can look forward to this as well. Penacony is Peaknacony but this isn't the peak yet in the history of Honkaiverse.
I've played the Honkai series for 11 years and I know that Shaoji cooks well and this isn't even the peak. We will see if it truly will in the future.

The boss battle can be said to be the most epic performance of both Aventurine and Acheron, but what impressed me was the ending of Aventurine, which can be said to be a sad story,that shows how amazing penacony's story is
Dont worry, imo Aventurine is not dead. He is going to embrace his true path/self which is Nihility, and imagine him coming out as an Emenator of Nihility later.

No matter if he had lived or died there, he would've won. Either he proves whether or not people can truly die in the dreamscape or he would've died, which was also a victory to him.. 😭
The only victory Aventurine has been seeking is freedom. Either he dies for real and is freed from the IPC or his connection is severed and he no longer has to serve a master
@@ApexGaleAventurine's goal isn't to free himself from the IPC. He's loyal to the IPC's goals. The reason he arranged a battle between Acheron and himself is so that he can use the cornerstone's power to put pressure on Acheron to the point that she unsheathes her sword and destroys either him or the barrier protecting Penacony from the deep sea where true death does exist. By revealing that death does exist in the utopia created by the Family, Aventurine is giving the IPC a chip against the Family
@@maiseree1511 Yes, Aventurine is giving the IPC a chip, but he is doing it to gain his own freedom. He's not loyal to the IPC, he's loyal only to himself. His bargain with Jade makes it abundantly clear that she does not see him as an equal, she sees him as a tool. This was a gamble to free himself from them, he was planning from the start to sacrifice himself. Either way, his gamble would have resulted in his freedom - if he died, the IPC would no longer hold any control over him.
Acheron knew what Aventurine really wanted was freedom, which is why she severed his connection to the cornerstone and helped him fake his death. Jade and Topaz think he died in that fight, but the scene made it abundantly clear he survived. The only person in the IPC who probably knows he survived is Dr. Ratio.
@@maiseree1511 He's not "loyal to their goals," he's enslaved by them. Just because they give him nice clothes and plenty of money does not make them friends. Jade outright tells him that he doesn't get any say in the matter. His entire arc in this story is about servitude versus free will. He spent his whole life under the heel of someone else. He intended to sacrifice himself so he could finally be free in death, but Acheron (and Dr. Ratio via his note) saved him.

At this moment, Aventurine died in some way, but someone new was born right after. God Aventurine and Acheron are such amazing characters.
In fact, aventurine may be alone in the past but not now. He's got his colleagues backing him up. And I think he realised that too after his talk with Acheron and reading Ratio's note. Him saying ' bye' to Kakavasha is saying goodbye to his past, and now he is free from IPC and the family, living the life he wish, until his time finally comes. He has found his meaning of life

This is the first version that I finished in the first day, and I am still speechless. I was expecting to continue my utter hate for Aventurine since 2.0, but then that Ayato wannabe showed up and I didn't expect him to be that much of a jerk. And then Aventurine slowly became one of my favourite characters, he actually reminded me a lot of my own character, so that's some bonus points for him

At first I didn't like Aventurine personality. But after this 2.1 story, I really want to pulling him, the first character I want to pull because of his life, his story, his quotes but not the design. His story really inpiring and inspire my life purpose, living my life to the fullest so that when I meet my parents again in heaven, they can be proud.

As Caelus was about to challenge Aventurine on a one-on-one battle, Acheron asked him if losing the fight was a possibility. “Well if he opened his domain, forced gambling, it might cause me a little trouble.” “But would you lose?” “Nah It’s all or nothing”
Before Caelus was able to unleash a barrage of strikes with his club, Aventurine opened his domain, where the chosen character had to score a higher number or an equal number of points,as the minimum points by hitting more targets. Luckily for Caelus, he learnt how to use his area-of-effect technique, Homing Homerun, which allowed him to strike more targets and allowed him to score more points than the minimum, nullifying the domain.
After a long fought battle, Caelus emerged victorious and Aventurine was sent to the shadow realm. In the shadow realm, Acheron asked him “Did you lose because you were confident? Or were you confident that you lost?” Aventurine replied “When it comes to gambling, I always leave my opponents mumbling. And throughout the dreamscape and reality, lies and truths, I alone am the Auspicious one.”
My phone went a hard crash daring that scene 💀💀

he’s most likely not. black swan said you can’t die in penacony, and aventurine himself implied he tried to off himself multiple times to see if he could die in penacony, but is still alive.
my personal theory is that he planned all of this, and would use his “death” as a mean to escape the ipc, considering his past with them
he nearly "died" (don't go too near to IX the Nihilty everyone) but Ratio gave him something that can revive him/wake him up

Welt in hi3 was one of the weakest herrscher and now he is even more nerfed in star rail because of the events in hi3. We see him losing clearly against Phantilya even with the help of Jing Yuan with lighting lord which is confirmed to be a gift from lan and Imbibitor lunae who is an op sorcerer and he still struggled here. And before you bring his "gravitational disintegration" to acheron it was just him showing how far he is going to go not actually a threat lmao. Acheron was literally unfazed by welts power, hell the entire plot here was that only acheron can beat aventurine who is an extremely weakened emanator here.
I'm happy they still referenced HI3 in this.
and for those who don't know what I mean, Look during that ONE specific cutscene; Those two red-horns are similar to a Specific Herrscher from HI3 and if you know which one, Props to you.

Welt is massively nerfed in star rail and he wasn't even one of the strongest in hi3. His power is really overrated among the fans.
Aventurines entire gamble here was for Acheron because only she could defeat him and mind you this is an extremely weakened aventurine.
^ The star of Eden is still powerful.
However his power is heavily nerf as the Core of reason no longer has steam while it does have some. It can't be the same. It is possible in later of the story. Welt giving it to someone and created it as a Divine key. Similar to Void archive (Previous era core of reason's Core)
As Welt stated. Star of Eden (Or his cane) is able to use Black hole meaning that, Welt's Star of Eden is still as powerful.
Ngl this is just a off topic. I wonder what type of Path Welt uses if he has the Core of reason? Erudition or Perseverance?

I was still grinding for Acheron's talents so I didn't use her for this fight but after rage quitting the first time, I said "YOU KNOW WHAT!" and level up her talents with what I had and that help me beat him.

I am confused whether Adventurine is dead or not, it was stated in their conversation, that no one truly dies in dreamscape, but then it was mentioned that his stone has stopped glowing, and Topaz, implying that he is dead? Whiich is it???
Acheron sent Adventurine into a limbo, not dead or alive. She was able to sever the harmony's grasp on him, but now it's up to Adventurine if he can make it out
Do any of you guys have any recommendations for Acheron so I can build her?

He is on par with Acheron or stronger I believe though his ability is not that of his prime it is still very powerful
Prime Welt has potential abilities to destroy the Solar System meanwhile one of the Lord Ravager (Destruction Emanator) has been recorded to destroy one of the Galaxies which is far more diverse and larger in comparison.

@@TheMentallyTiredHe is nowhere near acheron. He wasn't even one of the strongest herrscher in hi3 and he is heavily nerfed here in star rail on top of that. We see him struggle against Phantilya with the help of Jing yuan and imbibitor lunae no way he is even onpar with acheron lmao.
And before you say his threating acheron with gravitation disintegration it wasn't a threat, it was just him showing he is willing to go far to protect the astral express. Acheron is literally unfazed to welts power.

It's unknown, he being stuck in Nihility's domain is another insane gamble which will decide his ultimate fate (whether he'll be able to leave intact, or die)

despite how tanky af aventurine is i managed to beat his ass with kafka, serval, gepard, and huo huo somehow 🤟
This arc was great the only problem is its has too many cuts the trailblazer is getting sidelined like he got sidelined in loufu . I hope for the next arc he would be the main focus. I don't really want to see him become the next aether after what he went through in 2.0
