i don't agree with pink bubbles not being a power metal album, Kids Of the Century, Back on the Streets, Heavy Metal Hamsters, Someones Crying and The Chance are all great power metal anthems, i even love Number One

Better than raw is their best album with any doubt and the legacy will go higher in your ranking what a great album too heavy and catchy, Andy Deris is a better match for helloween the vocals goes with the music, The time of the oat great album as well. You should rank Gamma Ray Kai Hansen is the best vocalist but not with helloween.

I love all the albums personally, but my ranking is: 16. Pink Bubbles Go Ape (not that I hate it, but I fail to imagine it as Helloween album) 15. Rabbit Don't Come Easy (there are songs that I can't like no matter how hard I try) 14. Keeper Of The Seven Keys: The Legacy (a great album with wrong album title... fr now, you can't compete with parts 1 and 2) 13. My God-Given Right (fun album actually, pretty enjoyable, but not their best) 12. Gambling With The Devil (I love the songs and all, but the production is pretty bad, reminds me of Walls of Jehrico) 11. Walls Of Jehrico (really love this album a lot, one of my faves, two things I can't stand here are Kai's voice (I'm more of an Deris and Kiske guy) and the bad production, what can you expect from their first album from the early 80s, right?) 10. Straight Out Of Hell (awesome album and all, love it alot, one of the best with Andi) 9. Dating myself with this comment. LOL. My favorite was the original self-titled Helloween EP that featured the first 5 songs you now get on the the Walls of Jericho. So the Walls of Jericho was originally only 9 songs long. My friends and I were totally into the sound, even though most people thought they were copying Iron Maiden. Personally, I love the new self-titled Helloween album more than any of their previous albums, for one particular reason. The lyrics have more true relevance to the world around us today than the fear of the world we had in the 80s. It’s like we are seeing the things we feared back then are coming true today. That said I love the positivity of the new album.

Woah I don't remember writing that Megadeth comment. I don't even recall coming over here before. I have literally just arrived after listening to all of Helloween albums for the first time. 🤔🙃
1) Keeper of the Seven Keyes Part 2 (I kind off like You Always Walk Alone, I hate Rise And Fall and Dr. Stein is a song I barely need to ever hear again in my life, but the rest are pure magic and to me, apart from the song Halloween, are much better than the good stuff on Keeper 1) 2) Better Than Raw. Actually this may be their best album as there are absolutely no fillers on this one and it's pure masterclass, but Keeper 2 was the 1st Hellowen album I've ever listened to back in 1988 so I have the nostalgic perspective to it while I haven't got that with this one. I only heard it for the 1st time in 2018. But - here there are only high quality songs unlike the rest of the Helloween catalogue :) 3) The Time of the Oath. Great ranking! Keeper Of The Seven Keys Part 1 & 2 are blueprint for Power Metal IMHO (My fav is Part 2 though). Liked your insights on the Andi Deris albums, they're underrated, especially the first 4 ones with him and LOL Spiderman 3 did not shove things and neither did the new lineup, it's great!

Only the Keppes have songs strong than Robot King , Sjyfall, Rise without Chains and Fear of the Fallen ... The blend of Kiske and Deris is a dream for every helloween fan. I dare to say that if they push this formula the next Album can surpass the Keppers.

Dating myself with this comment. LOL. My favorite was the original self-titled Helloween EP that featured the first 5 songs you now get on the the Walls of Jericho. So the Walls of Jericho was originally only 9 songs long. My friends and I were totally into the sound, even though most people thought they were copying Iron Maiden.
Personally, I love the new self-titled Helloween album more than any of their previous albums, for one particular reason. The lyrics have more true relevance to the world around us today than the fear of the world we had in the 80s. It’s like we are seeing the things we feared back then are coming true today.
That said I love the positivity of the new album.

The best way to decide between keeper 1 and keeper 2 is to count them as one album.
Bit unfair to rank the latest one after 2 days of release, while you know the other records for years
1) Keeper of the Seven Keyes Part 2 (I kind off like You Always Walk Alone, I hate Rise And Fall and Dr. Stein is a song I barely need to ever hear again in my life, but the rest are pure magic and to me, apart from the song Halloween, are much better than the good stuff on Keeper 1)
2) Better Than Raw. Actually this may be their best album as there are absolutely no fillers on this one and it's pure masterclass, but Keeper 2 was the 1st Hellowen album I've ever listened to back in 1988 so I have the nostalgic perspective to it while I haven't got that with this one. I only heard it for the 1st time in 2018. But - here there are only high quality songs unlike the rest of the Helloween catalogue :)
3) The Time of the Oath. Horrible production and also mastering, but the songs....apart from Anything My Mama Don't Like are just pure awesomeness :)

11) Walls of Jericho - I know I am gonna receive hate for this, but 1st of all I was an young adult when I heard this for the 1st time because back then you actually had to buy music and a lot dependet on what's avalible....but look at it objectively, yes, there are some stunning tracks on this one like Ride the Sky or How Many Tears, Guardians etc....but a lot of seems just primitive and the lyrics are sailing even though it has it's charm :) But of course I like the album, otherwise I wouldn't have bought it again just recently :)

Great ranking! Keeper Of The Seven Keys Part 1 & 2 are blueprint for Power Metal IMHO (My fav is Part 2 though). Liked your insights on the Andi Deris albums, they're underrated, especially the first 4 ones with him and LOL Spiderman 3 did not shove things and neither did the new lineup, it's great!
