Thanks to Pete for asking a question and then getting out of the way! Most interviewers are constantly interrupting and are only half-listening, if at all. Pete was the perfect interviewer. And Michael was absolutely fascinating. I was especially curious as to how he got back with Helloween, since I knew he had previously made it clear many times that that would never happen. And now I finally know the details, other than, "Oh, they made peace," which is all I was able to find out previously to this. And thanks also to Pete for digging a bit deeper into the "Pink Bubbles Go Ape" album, which is an interesting topic by itself. Michael covered a lot of ground here. Great interview!
Amazing interview Pete...letting Michael talk about his thoughts and stories without interrupting is gold nowadays. So many youtubers are nervous and feel the need to interrupt in the middle of every thought. Just let him talk.
Great interview, and Michael comes across like a really great guy. Realised that I haven't really heard him interviewed before, and now I think we've missed out!
Awesome interview, Pete! Thank you so much, what a great time watching Michael Kiske open up about getting back into the Helloween fold with the 🎃 United and flashing back to Pink Bubbles Go Ape. Michael is quite the character, what a fun interview!
Fantastic interview! Pete, you seem to get the most out of each interviewee, even if you don't do much. You are just friendly and unpretending and they feel at ease with you!
I'm a big hard rock/prog fan not really a metal fan at all, but I find heavy metal bands and fans the most interesting people in music always compleatly dedicated and interesting musicians. Great interview
Kiske is the Man! But... Hahaha, you caught me by a 'little' surprise 🤣 You with Martin said that Anthrax '88 and '90 were not so good albums and so on, and now it turns out you're a big fan of Power/Happy Metal, Helloween and 'The Voice'... 😅 Well, through those times and especially in those 2 albums (the best for me, together w/ '87 and '91) Anthrax were Power-Melodic-Trash in style, something very similar to the german Power Metal of Helloween, later Gamma Ray... And this still keeps them in my top 5 list of bands.
Hi Pete... I have a simple question... Do you usually listen your music with your headphones on your ears or do you prefer to listen your music on a stereo speakers with no headphones on your ears?
I agree with Michael....Kai leaving was a huge mistake....the keeper line up was just beginning to unfold and we needed that good record after keeper II....pink bubbles was meh and chameleon was a disaster....and still is.... Edit.....the new album needed a more clean mix especially in the drum department....
I like all the Kiske albums and songs... Chameleon is a great master album. I miss the Kiske majestic hair 1987 headbanging! I need to see interview with Michael and Andi together alone. Maybe and with Kai max.

I have one request for all Helloween people. Could Miachel Kiske can do, that's he did before he rejoined Helloween again? Michael everybody know very well that you don't lov Heavy Metal! You don't like Power Metal. This music is only the money reason for you! I understand reunion several shows, but we want Helloween back on the Power Metal sound... Michael You talk about some piano stuff on one of your interview, This is not a Power Metal! This is your Kiske stuff. You try before without any success for it!!! With all due respect to Kiske for his vocal talent. However, Michael is not a Power Metal heart person - and he will never be a musician who loves and has metal music in his heart. The Helloween's best years were with Andy Deris. Andy Deris is not only a singer, but he is also a great composer, which no one can not say about Kiska at all. Please Kiske and Hansen leave!!! We want Helloween back on Metal road
Kiske is very eloquent and clever. Great interview!
Kiske is a character to say the least 😂
Great interview! I love how honest and BS-free Michael is! He is really refreshing and both an incredible singer and a cool guy to talk with!
Greetings from Germany to both of You and anyone else out there.
Beeing 52 years old, I followed Helloween right from the start.
Cheers metalheads !

An interesting and entertaining interview with one of the great power metal vocalists of all time.
Pete's description of Ramstein while wearing a Kiss shirt was like ooooh
awesome. michael kiske is an interesting guy. i always thought that it was he who brought the sense of humor to the pumpkins.
Very cool...seen him perform at Donington 1988 with Helloween kicking off the festival...they've never bettered the Keeper albums since.
I love Pink Bubbles and Chameleon from the start.

Stereo speakers. Other than while I'm working out at the gym, I rarely use headphones/earbuds.
