People need to be reminded that Amara allowed herself to be smited by Heaven so that God could probably notice her. And yes she did get injured and had to be healed. Only because she lowered her guard. Here she doesn't even flinch considering that she's now done playing around. This would be shown when Donnie, Sam, Metatron, and Dean go to rescue Lucifer. You can tell Amara no longer wants to screw around.
Lucifer- could kill Sam and Dean at any time he likes, with little to no effort, along with Cas and all of their friends, lets them live because honestly they are sort of funny to him Amara- takes the best shot of mega juiced Lucifer without blinking, then overpowers and beats him mercilessly with no real effort at all Dean, season 15- oh yeah, we can TOTALLY fight Amara
I mean they're the Winchesters. So they could have defeated her. Although it made more sense and was a lot more satisfying to have her walk off the board in S11. (Although S15 was beyond awful).

Well it was just one archangel vs every angel there was at the time. Kind of like Cass with the million of souls. She got smited by maybe 50 angels at one time maybe even a 100 or more since the show never really states how many angels are left at the time.
I honesty don't understand how Lucifer actually thought that he could defeat Amara, even with the Horn of Joshua boosting his powers, I mean it only had a fraction of God's power, not his full might and even if it had his full might, that still only the combine power of him and God. Last time they fought Amara it took the combined might of Him, God, Michael, Gabriel and Raphael, by that math alone he was clearly coming up short in being able to defeat her

If lucifer had the souls from purgatory he would be able to do alot of damage, maybe even kill amara (in season 11's finale, they used the power of thousands of souls to make a bomb in order to defeat amara and if that would have worked, then so would the power of the souls from purgatory would )
I think first "Son" can be true. We know these two things. 1- Michael older than Lucifer. 2- Lucifer is favourite son. Maybe God created Michael like a weapon againts Amara. But when God created Lucifer, he consider him like "son". What about that ?

Light vs Dark is not about who will win in the end. It is about the small victories. It is about a single day being better than the last. Exactly how Amara was "defeated"

Why is her name Amara instead of Ayin? As she is usually known as. Ayin means the end while Yesh which is God’s true name is the beginning. They are meant to be two halves of the same being.

They had no idea how to keep raising the stakes. They managed to atleast raise the stakes until season 11, then went on a tangent in season 12, after which they tried to get back on course but had to retcon a lot.
