  • I recently got a Ninja foodi smoothie maker & thought it would be fun to share the stuff I’ve been making. I’ll list all the smoothie ingredients below. The Ninja foodi blender is very powerful and I have enjoyed making thick smoothies and frappes. I did actually try making an “extract” by putting a few cuties in water and was pleased by the refreshing beverage. The unit is VERY loud but powers through frozen fruit and ice. I have been enjoying this blender and would suggest it to others.

i think its great it is made for smoothies! if you want to gring coffee to powder or spices look for a item that can do it, it is best practice to buy an kitchen item that is specifically made for what your trying to make you find out the results are better in what your doing. my wife has one of these and it gets a ton of use daily and makes the smoothies awesome.

Is the Ninja-made coffee/spice grinder attachment compatible with this model? It is a bad idea if it can only make smoothie

I'm sorry, I truly don't know about the coffee/spice grinder attachment. This particular model is mainly for smoothies/ bowls. The recipe book it comes with it also lists other things. Mostly sauces, almond butter, froyo, sorbets. I did use mine for pureeing tomato soup a couple of times and it worked great.

Can you use a ninja pitch instead of cups on this model?

I don't think so. Truthfully, I prefer this model to my old ninja blender with the pitcher. The blades and pitcher itself were harder to clean. I understand though that this might not be the best option for people making larger portions.

Nice video. You should add an affiliate link so when people watch your review and want to buy one they can just click.

    A ton of sugar

I regularly avoid soda and candy so I see no problem enjoying natural sugar. I'm sure you can find plenty of healthy recipes for smoothies, but all that comes down to preference.
