Such a gorgeous solo, I love how fluid it is - especially the repeating note patterns incrementally getting shifted up and down the position in the scale, but then suddenly making jumps that interrupt those patterns and subvert our expectations.
Wow, I sent a message to you on fb (probably 5 years ago) where I tried to play this beautiful solo. I never got back to refining some odd notes, now I can correct those mistakes. Thank you Pete for making this video. :)
Wonderful video!! I’ve been waiting for Juggling Molecules!!!! I LOVE how you start with the histories. I would love to one day hear these ‘lost’ relics!! Beautiful guitar too! Love that you bring it back to represent to exact essence from which the licks and solos were conjured! Watching you play it was remarkable.. it definitely is my favorite Shpongle solo as well. Seeing you break it down was a whole new world of awe and finesse. Your skills are legendary indeed and each strum and pick just fully caresses the consciousness. It’s no surprise Simon and you joining together can make these delicious segments of music. I noticed too, when you went step by step it definitely rings folky, dancey vibe with such intricacy! The story just bursts into bloom. Every question.. answered. I can stare at your fingers at play, all day 🥰💙 Much love Pete! Thank you so much for this adventure. @@PeteCallard Hello Pete Callard ! I hope your day was as good as mine will be today! Thank you, thank you, thank you! Yes Pete Gallard, I listened to your guitar 100 000x because I recorded the live version and used it as a template and studied it. I'm happy with the notes I found out at the time and they're about the same as what you wrote as notes. My mistake, although it sounds good in the context of the other elements (f g g# with lower A and upper A, the upper A sometimes as B.....). I have the notes exactly as you described it, but because of the variation I have probably increased or decreased half a note here and there. So what I just heard without effects (have turned off the guitar rack), 2 guitars (acoustic Spanish and electric guitar) and the drum machine.... bass Tb303 could not be loaded (update) ; so only guitars and a bit of a beat - I thought it was really cool :-) So I'm completely happy!
