Bro thanks so much! Honoured to be in your video, and to meet you of course - what a life 😄✨ Love the sentiment you're putting out too - it's true too many people hold themselves back because they don't consider themselves to have 'natural' talent etc. Look forward to further encounters and your future developments 🙏🕊
Si, y gracias, tronko! El canción fue Campana de Gipsy Kings. Subbed to you too mate - como es salemanca y España? Quiero vivir en Granada, pronto. @@TheOnlineBusker
@@TheOnlineBusker hi mate thank you! subbed to you too 👊 yes I was singing in Spanish the song is Campana by Gipsy Kings. How is Salamanca and Spain in general for you? I want to be living in Granada say next year or the one after.
@@trisarnold Hi buddy, haha for 20 years I've been saying people here (Castilla y León) are the most miserable, racist, standoffish, arrogant, unapproachable people in the whole world, and while that still stands, when I go busking it's a whole different place! They give compliments, donations and it's cool! Granada is a whole other level, really nice friendly folk and lots of amazing musicians! Cheers man!
Finally braved the town centre today with my teen kid... 2 guitars, one Cube Street and backing tracks (neither of us can sing). It was a good experience and we made a few quid. Set list was rock/punk/alt, and we stayed in the slightly less congested part of the centre :D
I totally agree some people think you have to be born with it but hard work can get you there I mean even Van Halen said you don't be afraid to suck and just keep playing till you get better!
You are just so awesome..... I am quite a bit older but have been busking lately and it's been amazing! You meet so many interesting people! I look forward to meeting you one day! Keep keeping on! Wishing you much success.... and yes Talent is hard hard work, and when this work meets opportunity that's when the success happens!
Talent means natural leaning towards a certain skill where they can learn that skill with incredible ease RATHER than being born into perfection with said skill. No one by no one is like that. The only exception I can say for my inclination towards music is having perfect pitch which I've always had but haven't always been aware of it.
I’ve always had a problem with the word “talent”. Sure I’ve responded to music through singing and dancing since I could move. I’ve attended workshops and lessons over the years, but if I’ve achieved anything, most of it has been through sheer hard graft. I always know when I’ve let the practice and rehearsal slide.
this is my new favourite video dude! such a tough topic alot glaze over without putting proper thought into, it takes decades of hard work to be talented at anything is the real cold facts here.. keep up the postive work @august radio project
I agree. While I was doodling in preschool, cuz my dad would draw and it inspired me. It was when I was 12 when I realized I wanted to be an artist. Peirod! It was like all I cared to do. And I didn't know what was gonna be like or was like for artists. But it was like what I felt in my soul. However this is more a brain chemistry I think. And it wasn't easy exactly. It was but it wasn't. We always learn and improve. You have to want to do it. Put the work in. Vincent Van Gogh said, "Every child is an artist. It's remaining one as you grow up." I do try to teach this to people and particularly children. Too many, people think it's just a god given gift and they could never be that talented. This is a sad thought. E=Because even when we do get older, one can learn a new skill. Obviously being an artist is not the best career choice for the many lol. But it's not all about money. It's about loving what you do. This is your life here and now. You can live it miserable or at least somewhat to a more fulfilling state. Sometimes ya gotta do what ya gotta do too. But, "Never stop dreaming." (~Freddy Krueger) Lol
I could do with help on setting up my website 'store' in order to have pre-orders for the album! If ya can help in anyway then maybe email me: info@augustradioproject.com 😀 🙌
Talent would be something like nimble fingers, still have to put in work to play the guitar, , , maybe a bit less work needed. . But without the desire and work, talent doesn't mean much.
Natural talent is a real thing but unless you put in the work you will never fully develop your full potential. Those who don't have a natural talent just have to work a bit harder. The desire is what I believe to be the key. You can have all the natural talent but without the desire it's useless. When you have true desire and develop a passion for something you put in the work and then people will look at you one day and say how talented you are. 😁 Enjoyed the video.
your songwriting skills are far more important then your voice. in the end it's really about the songs, you gotta have HITS. look at taylor swift, an average voice, but a great songwriter.
Bro, sorry to say that, but i (think) that You need to catch up on using the right words in your songs. It cannot be fake, You need to feel the power of words. You need to feel the goosebumbs everytime you are saying words in your songs. Still - u are a very good musician but let the song construct herself by putting the feel first. Im high, but i hope you get my meaning. r8?
