Thanks for the video ,couldn't get my spinner to work after my second load, my husband went in there and it worked for him of course. Lol anyway, I told him about ur video and he's checking to see if the screw is loose. I have mine in the tub too so much easier, Front bathroom tub never used unless grandkids are here. Having the machine in the tub a person really, really has to make sure that the water doesn't get underneath the bottom of the machine or you can short it out or cause injury.
      My DISCLAIMER is that THE MACHINE SHOULDN'T BE USED IN BATHTUB UNLESS YOU CAN GUARANTEE WATER WILL NOT GET UNDERNEATH THE WASHING MACHINE.
      The machine should not be used in the bathtub unless you can guarantee that water cannot get underneath the bottom of the machine.
      Best wishes!

    Does this minor repair also fix the issue if the spin dryer is making a loud screeching noise? Thanks in advance Sistah for the info.

    • @lindamc6090
      @lindamc6090  Рік тому

      Hi, my machine was making that crazy, loud screeching noise also. I have an email going to Zeny customer service to ask how to fix that aggravating noise. While I'm waiting to see what they say, I've come up with something to make the noise not so bad.
      *First, I try to make sure that the spinner is not too full, which can add to it wobbling, etc.
      *Next, I do my best to make the clothes BALANCED in the spinner. That's done by taking a shirt, fold it so arms are together, then lay the shirt in basket around sides of basket, kind of like an "O"
      *For sheets, I hold up over wash basket & spinner to kind of have it like it would be folded in half, but I take it & lay in spinner around sides like in swirl (like how a cinnamon bun looks), trying to make it balanced in there.
      *I do that with bras, towels, etc.
      *IF CLOTHES ARE REALLY WET, THEY'LL BE HEAVY AND MAKE SPINNER WOBBLE & BE NOISY ALSO. I don't mind wringing stuff out to keep that noise down.
      *LASTLY, GENTLY... PUSH THAT WHITE PLASTIC PART (that keeps clothes from flying out of spinner), DOWN ON THE CLOTHES IN THE SPINNER. -- THINK OF IT AS A SPINNING TOP TOY (from years ago).
      --- IF THAT WHITE PLASTIC PIECE IS NOT FLAT ON TOP OF THE CLOTHES, THE SPINNER WILL WOBBLE A LOT AND MAKE A LOT OF NOISE. IF IT DOES THAT, STOP THE SPINNER & MAKE SURE THAT PLASTIC THING IS Pushed Down & FLAT ON THE SURFACE OF CLOTHES.
      NOT OVERLOADING the spinner also helps.
      ** If I had to do it all over again, I WOULD NOT HAVE OVERLOADED MY SPINNER WITH CLOTHES, THROWING THE BASKET OUT OF ALIGNMENT.
      I know that it seems like a lot, BUT once you practice getting it just right, the spinner won't be so loud.
      **WHEN I GET MORE INFORMATION RESOLVING THIS ISSUE, I'LL POST IT.
      ~~~Wishing you the best~~
    Hi I'm having trouble with my Zeny washing machine. I seen some fiber clogging up the drain. In the spinning area . I'd like to ask you a question you seem to understand the machine, plus I cant seem to find a zeny machine repair. Do you know of one?
    • @lindamc6090
      @lindamc6090  2 роки тому
      Where exactly is the fiber in the spinning area?
      Can you see it when looking from the outside into the spinning area through the blue plastic front or side?
      ***ALWAYS UNPLUG WASHING MACHINE FROM WALL. *****
      Are you able to take a long dryer vent filter brush and put it up the hose and jiggle it around to try and loosen the clog? Or maybe open up a wire hanger and make a tiny hook on one end and CAREFULLY insert it up the hose to try and pull fiber or whatever out from clogging it. BE VERY CAREFUL NOT TO PUNCTION WHITE HOSE IF YOU INSERT ANYTHING INTO IT.
    Thank you so much for your video. The screws act like they are too tight and they will not budge. Am I doing something wrong? Also, I'm getting very angry and inpatient with the drum spinning everytime I try to loosen the screws. I don't have a second person to hold it from moving. Grrr Anyway, I see a mask down between the drum and the outside and I cannot get too it. Do I need to take the whole drum apart like you did with yours?
    • @lindamc6090
      @lindamc6090  Рік тому +1
      ALWAYS UNPLUG WASHER BEFORE TAKING BACK OFF OR WORKING ON IT TO AVOID INJURY.
      My spinner was loose again the other day and I was here and didn't have any help to hold the part and place so I could screw it. I put on gloves, carefully reached in and position the Phillips screws directly in front of me. It started spinning so I reached in again and put screw directly in front of me, but this time I slowly put the screwdriver in and gently turned to the right to tighten the top and bottom screws. Having a very long Phillips head screwdriver really helps. Sometimes you have to turn the screws to the left to loosen them, pull the spinner basket up right then sit it directly down VERTICALLY into the machine, then tighten the screws back. One time I didn't use the white piece that goes on top of the clothes in the spinner basket and a sleep mask popped out and got underneath the spinner. I took my $1 from Dollar Tree back scratcher, leaned the basket over to the side while looking through he basket and took the curved end of scratcher and eventually pulled the mask out. It will take some patience but you can do it. If all else fails Google Zeny USA customer service to get help. I hope this helps!
Is it possible for you to close the spinner door then put something not too heavy on top of the door so it makes contact with the rest of the machine ( touching the machine everywhere it should touch when the spinner door is closed), then see if it will spin?
      Absolutely! It may seem like a bother but that white plastic piece needs to go on top of clothes before starting the spinner. If that white piece is not laying horizontally flat (it's tilting to the left, right or at all) you can be assured that the clothes will not be balanced and will wobble and make lots of noise. Sometimes the clothes will need to be redistributed then the plastic piece put on top of them and pressed down but not too hard.
      I'm sorry that you're having trouble. Today my spinner was doing the same thing, not spinning or only doing it a little bit. I realized that I kept manually kept making spinner cycle end by taking the knob to off. Doing this, starting the spinner timer over each time I tried to fix it, was causing it not to complete a spin cycle.
      Finally, I balanced the clothes in the spinner basket and turned timer to 3, then spinner started spinning on it's own.
      I think I was messing it up by not starting spinner from a completely stopped position. Not letting that spinner timer run all the way out until it "dings" may have confused the system. Hope this helps!
      CORRECTION: THERE IS NO "DING" SOUND WHEN SPINNER CYCLE FINISHES AND STOPS AT "0". I'm sorry I must have been thinking about my microwave making that ding sound. So the spinner just winds down and stops at the number 0. You always want the spinner to wind down and stop there on it's own rather than make it stop by turning it to 0 before spin cycle is over. Doing that will make the spinner not work properly. Thanks 🙂
      Gently push spinning basket straight down, before laying machine down on floor, with back of machine facing up towards ceiling.
      Next, you will have to carefully and gently move wires to the side while you tighten the bolt first, then screw.
      Then follow the instructions on the video and have patience while screwing (tightening) the bolt behind the screw first (use a tool to do so), then use long Phillips head screw driver (to reach in back of machine) to the screw, then tighten the Phillips head screw.
    Mines already as tight as itl go?? And their is no broken belt or nothing . I’m pretty sure all that screw does is keep the spin cycle side in place . That’s is nothing to do with the spin itself. It could be the motet , or literally anything else.
      Mine just stopped spinning. Washer worked fine. It clicks like it’s going to spin. Doesn’t.
      I appreciate your comment. My sister said the same thing about using a tripod or something to steady the picture. This was the first UA-cam video that I ever made. I may remake it in the future. Thanks again!
    Mine wasn't this. It was the belt.
