Madonna at 1998 was the closest to this Madonna. And 2015, may be the first time in a while Madonna has come alive... but its not as perfect as 1990 and 1998.

I miss the 1984-85 Madonna hair pulled up with a scrunchie , wearing the fingerless glove and the “Boy Toy” MC Belt
This was a little better, vocally than her previous ones. The backing track is really helping her out.
She developed throat problems during rehearsals before the tour had even started...by the final shows her voice was extremely hoarse forcing her to sing an octave lower, so she had likely developed nodules or polyps from the continued strain on her voice. This show was still early in the tour but you can hear it; she doesn't have the range or control she had on the previous two tours. Fortunately she made a full recovery after taking some time away from singing after the tour finished. You can still hear some hoarseness when she recorded Rescue Me and the vocals for Get Over (which ended up being used as backing vocals when she gave the song to Nick Scotti to record) about a month after the tour ended, although she managed to use it to her advantage. By the time she recorded again there was no sign of damage. In fact, her voice sounded better than ever on 1993's Girlie Show Tour, and that was still a few years before she started any professional training for Evita.
@@sonicboy19I think you’re correct minus the control part. It was much stronger here. By 1986 she was beginning to continuously write more vocally challenging songs and her constant performing forced her to become a better singer without any real training until Evita. Her vocal control here is the best it ever was up to this point.
