I started with the paid course. It’s really good. I found I was hitting all the range balls a good distance further. And, I had forgotten to some basics like throwing the club and other things.

Easier to do with the driver, but when I get the short clubs in my hand it’s a different story. Something has to give to get down to the ball. Then I find it difficult to swing freely.
It shouldn’t be any different. Although the clubs are different lengths, they are all the same height. With the exception of the putter, of course. I have no more bend in my hips with the pitching wedge, then I do with my driver. If you do, it’s because you’re standing too far away from the ball with your pitching wedge.
@@yoursimplegolfswing that’s very interesting, I have never tried hitting a wedge with the same posture as the driver but I certainly will. If you have an opportunity to demonstrate that in a video it would be great, thanks.

I think Steven is referencing Shawn Clement, Wisdom in Golf, who is always talking about cutting the grass and the dandelion stem, and demonstrating his swing with a grass whip. 😊

Thanks for your advice Patrick, I love the grip it and rip it approach. Maybe I will focus more on that. The thing is UA-cam stops, pushing out peoples videos when they stop publishing new videos. If you look at the top golf instructors on UA-cam, you’ll see they have hundreds of videos and generate tens of thousands of views per video. It is a challenge to continuously come up with new material. After all the golf swing has a finite number of skill sets. Once you cover them all it gets tough to continuously try to get peoples attention.
