- The Littorio is a copy pasted Roma in every possible way. What bothers me is that WG made no attempt to correct the CCs nor the community over the fact that most expected an Impero instead. A lasy design and some rather shady behaviour. Props to LWM for the picture of the creditings.

Eh partly True, the PC side was Lazy AF but have you seen the WOWS Blitz Skins though? Its Freaking Remodels of the ships like holy crap why couldnt we have gotten that?

The camo honestly looks great, art team breaking their backs while the balance and game design teams act like weekend teammates.
Weekend team mates have literally become a lockdown scale kind of thing 😂😂 I’m not the greatest WoWS player but I recently turned away from WoT and started playing WoWS more got to the tier 7 soviet BB Sinop and I’m enjoying clapping cruiser broadsides left right and Centre and didn’t expect it to be so easy, people aren’t smart

Breaking their backs? It's a decently fine looking cammo but that's as best as it gets
WoWsB (the mobile version) gets fully modified hulls with the rigs of the ships, flue fire on Kaga deck and other cool stuff like that... There events are once a year, they had 365 days to make a better model like the ones they create for Halloween just Azur Lane themed...
Honeslty, I am not a fan of most the AL camos. They're just so lazy imo compared to Blitz. These camos may as well be free grind rewards for the tech tree ships they're a copy of.

@@Shadow.24772 You have 32 mm of penetration on your HE shells, with demolition expert+ flags you get 9% chance to set fire. You have british smokes that are much more effective than the standard german ones. If you spec for bft and use lutjens, you get 2,7 secs of reload(not even counting adrenaline rush, as with it you can get your reload down to 2,1). Since torpedoes are never dependable source of damage(unless you play eu dds), you can just ignore them, but still have a lot of utility if someone rushes you. Rather decent hp pool, and concealment while bad at 6,2 still could be played around if you use terrain and other obstructions wisely. And if you get to the hydro range, you can just snatch enemy dd in front of the enemy team and because you have fast acting smokes you can disengage almost at will anytime you want.

@@nefratek5006 that link proves that its a bad ship. Its on the bottom half stats wise with the other dds already! Usually the new ships with few owners have some superunicums or unicums boost the stats making ships look op.

@@ryanbrochu3336 Yes it does (along with all the French BB's too). However, ALL the shells landing short at that kind of range almost proves there's a bug of some sort. If it was dispersion you would expect at least one shell to go long as well.
Typical.. It happens alot against stationary and reversing targets.. I think the aim assist ruins your aim in these bow in situations

@@DaManBearPig I'm disagreeing with you on that buddy. There has been a very high demand for the Italia line, Wargaming knows this, and still did this garbage. They had months, if not a year to make this ship gorgeous, and they went around, copy/paste, and threw it out to us. It's become less about the small guy working at Wargaming, and more about his boss and subsequent bosses who should be doing quality control on everything, and just outright refusing.

It's sad really because Azur lane Really puts the effort with these collabs and a load of content is introduced into the game new ships are PR and require grind but they're some of the most op ships in the game. Then you see WoWs and it's kinda sad really..
If they made Littorio like Impero, I would have bought it without hesitation. It's like WG wants money, but not if it takes effort to get.
If WG killed Impero then it was too unbalanced for them to release her by the deadline. I would rather have a Roma clone than Enterprise or Viribus Unitus 2.
My guess based on talking with people who faced the Impero and just the fact that the concept itself was so bonkers (SAP BB with fuel smoke on a well armored hull) was that Wargaming couldn't get the thing anywhere close to a balancable state by the time they hit their deadline for the collab is that they just scrapped it for a future ship. Impero looked interesting but was definitely broken as hell, and this is supposed to be a ship they can roll out for the yearly AL collab so removing it from sale would be embarrassing. I am a bit sad it got changed, but am still happy since I have always wanted a Roma but never had the captain for it and this alleviates that issue.
@@cboelcke694 Maybe we can look for next year, because next year's anniversary for Azur Lane there is a high possibility that they will release the Veneto. So for next year's crossover, the Impero will have another chance to be balanced and for sale.

Then second year is Bismarck, and Richelieu for this year. All of these “flagship” released during each year‘s anniversary event, so that’s why I said she maybe release for next year.

I don’t mind about that, but what I do mind and feel utterly bothered by this is that they keep on delaying this Italian BBs which should have been with us since June or July? Instead they give us Paper Russian Ships and more Carriers.......

@@bartekzacierka7129 not exactly, cause that means "goodbye" in Italian. However the Littorio commander/voice line do have some Jojo reference, like "Mudamuda" for firing voiceline and "Daga kotowaru" for the "negative" command voiceline

Maybe WG planned to make the AL Littorio an Impero, but they screwed up the timing and/or testing and just turned her into a ready-made, cold-pasta Roma clone to meet the collab publish date.

Low duration of smoke 20-25 seconds, low damage for SAPs like 5000-7500 damage, and give them a 30-32 seconds reload with garbage Secondaries but Great AA. I wouldn’t be mad by that.

AL Littorio's very bad dispersion in WoWS is the same as her Red Skill "Rosa Bombardamento" in Azur Lane.. her barrage pattern is all over the place on my screen

I got excited for a second when this captain popped up in my premium container. Then I realized it was just a 10 point captain that I can't understand, and not the actual Roma battleship that I don't have.
The fact they dropped the namesake of the class into the game as a lazy copy/pasta premium... man that gives me so much confidence for an Italian BB line. Feels real good that we got fake Russian BBs and will likely get the Russian BB split (yes it's real) before a real navy with real ships and real design experience.
I’m sure this have straight to see with Wargaming just crunching developers, WG just forced the sell of a Roma with skin instead of a different ship (they could sell as an AL and regular premium) just to be on schedule
Well to be fair they did say it was based on the Roma. But then again EXTREMELY LAZY money grabbing idea from WG. It's quite tempting to get the ship for it's camo and captain but at where the roma stands currently, there are so many better options

It's a real life ship, more powerful than any paper Soviet ship.
If u want absolute rng accuracy just play low tier american BBs, you can dev strike cruisers max range or miss all your shots at 2km
Why have they modelled the armour as monolithic instead of multiple thinner armour plates?
It should be:
70 mm homogenous steel
250mm cement foam
280mm cemented steel
150mm oak
15mm steel
gap
Then a 36mm and a further 24mm steel bulkheads behind that with a large void between.
My disappointment is immeasurable, and my wallet is ruined.

Actually the AL Littorio is currently buggy, my back turret was able somehow to turn through the ship like with petropawlovsk, however when you have turned your gun completely to the other side it doesn‘t work anymore...nice design.
not just her, i got lot of bug with other ships like Vanguard, Jean Bart, Yoshino and other premium ships. I guess its just with the premium ships coz i dont get any bug from tech tree ships
Not a bug with the ships, it's a problem with the server desyncing.
I though that WG selling the Black Series of ships as separate ships instead of just really fancy camos was kinda odd and inconvenient but a one of thing, little did I know that I was actually looking at their future premium ship strategy lol.
If that Nagato you ran into had slowed down to avoid a collusion it would not have taken a torpedo!

OK, so they have the AL (Deutschland) on the little cartoon girls you get in the game. Is WOWS, going to be Lazy Asses with it and Carbon Copy the Graf Spee into the Deutschland, because other than the main and secondary guns they are not the same ships. The superstructure is completely different. The float plane is in front of the funnel and not aft of it like Graf Spee or Scheer.
Graf Spee and Scheer are real close to being identical ships, and could be carbon copied for game play, even though in real life all three ships had slightly different hull measurements.
Deutschland, renamed Lutzow had a bridge that was like the bridge on Battleship Bayern, and not the pyramid structure on the other 2. I really hope they actually model Deutschland and don't try to pass off Graf Spee as her.

Flamu, you don't lose your turrets from knock out on top of knock out. They die when their HP (typically ~20k per turret on a BB) is depleted, regardless of whether they have been knocked out or not. The chance of having them knocked increases with how much damage they have taken relative to total turret HP.
That being said, they won't turn when knocked out, so you lose any chance of angling them to protect them.

Question, why the Bloody hell is Littorio the lead ship of the class of Battleships not a Tech line ship than a other tier 8 premium, I was hoping that when we get the Italian Battleships line that at Tier 8 we will get the Littorio at tier8, but unfortunately we have her as a other tier8 premium.
I’m gotta wait until Wargaming make her a Tech line ship in the Italian Battleships line, I know it’s gotta take a long time or never gotta happen but I don’t really care.
Both Littorio and Vittorio Veneto can be considered leaders of the class, as they were laid down on the same day. If we go by launch day, VV is actually the correct name of the class, but both are considered correct. Likewise, WG calls Roma a Littorio class ship, but calls Littorio the "second Vittorio Veneto class ship".
It's obvious we are gonna see Veneto in the tech tree line, maybe this time with the correct model, instead of Roma's.

I showed this to my clanmates and pointed out the painted over "R". I mean come on. Shouldn't have WG put on Littorio in gold letters? Does it take that much longer to make an adjustment on that? But, it is ok. I already had Roma and got AL Littorio and put her on Roma. So, it works out without having to buy the bundle.

The reason for this, is because every special ship has to be the clone of a historical (or paper) ship. So people with "only real ships" option won't be seeing nothing, they will see a Roma.
Do you think they will change her? I had to buy her as italian/german ship collector. That means i also have the Roma. Knowing that all other AL ships were different i thought this one would be to. Bought it and realised it was the Roma. In my opinion i dont care what they change as long as its different

Actually, from what i heard, they DID have a unique playstyle for the littorio, but it was so bad they decided it would be received better if thye just used the Roma.
