Thanks very much for the honest (and at times humorous) review. We're also definitely taking the constructive criticism onboard! The connections holding the cells together aren't as sturdy as we would have liked either, but unfortunately the only solution to this would be to do two brand new infection moulds (one for the end piece, one for the middle piece). As we're currently having one done for another battery project (completely unrelated to this though), I know that the cost of this would be in excess of AU$10,000 and probably doesn't make sense for us at this stage. However we find that they are mainly for holding the frame while you're building it, once it's finished and wrapped with sturdy tape or packaging straps, there is much less stress on these little tabs. As for the cost, I'm not disagreeing either, however we do include free shipping Australia-wide, which due to the bulky nature isn't cheap. We'd be more than happy to offer a $35 price point for people picking them up from Somersby though.
Thanks for taking the time to reply, I think viewers like to see engagement from the suppliers/producers and it's great to see from my end too. Apologizies, I don't think I mentioned the free postage but believe it would have been captured in one of the stills. I think a lot of consumers get spoiled by the chinese market and sometimes it's easy to miss value when it's right in front of you. Since I'm just up the road at lake macquarie and if the offer stands for 35 each for a pick up, I'll put my money where my mouth is and swing down and grab 3 more. I've been planning a trip to check out the earc panels you have, so 2 birds with one stone and all. again, appreciate the time
Hi. Ive been away from your videos for a little while and spotted this one and i think you did a great job in getting the batterys to fit where you did, so good work there. Im not sure whether or not you have done a little video on the battery packs for this one, but what are the specs on them as i now think i might have the confidence to put one together . Happy xmas to you. Cheers.
Good honest reviews without the bloat, that's what makes your channel the best mate, Merry Christmas & Happy New Year..

I wish he sold the case for the EVE LF105 cells separately, I bought the kit before he included them in the deal.
Really adds anything ... vrs just wrapping them with the tape ??
That’s a real nasty bump you’ve got on your head! Didn’t affect the video so that’s all good. 👍
bloody tree got me good :) In it's defense , it didn't move. kinda my fault. thanks for taking the time to comment
