What Is Considered High Blood Pressure?
First, let's talk about what normal blood pressure is. Normal blood pressure is when that top number or systolic blood pressure is less than 120, and that bottom number or diastolic blood pressure is less than 80. You have elevated blood pressure when that systolic blood pressure is between 120 and 129, and the diastolic is still less than 80. What is hypertension or high blood pressure? You have stage one hypertension when that systolic blood pressure is between 130 and 139, or that diastolic blood pressure is between 80 and 89. And you have stage 2 hypertension when that systolic blood pressure is 140 or greater, or that diastolic blood pressure is 90 or greater.

Can sleep apnea cause higher blood pressure
Hi Doc. I started BP tablets when my BP was 240/170. Now my BP hovers around 140/90. My doc says this is okay. Your recommendation is it shouldn't be over 120/80. Am I okay to have long term BP at 140/90 or is this bad.?

Hello doctor Frida I want to talk about my mother she's 86 and she hasn't been sick very much but all the sudden her blood pressure has we're up to 213 / 95 took her to
hospital they kept her overnight she didn't have any blood clot and her brain they put around two more pills before they sent her home so that makes five she's taking now they sent her to a heart doctor put around another pill that makes six they're not finding the problem her blood pressure keeps going up and down up and down what could the problem be?

I’m elderly and I don’t believe anything the doctors or the government say anymore. In my time President Eisenhower told the truth when he warned about the military/industrial complex but didn’t realize the vested interests now existing. This includes the health care industry Big Pharma and those industries overly represented in this government. It should be evident that the controlled news and internet is a massive problem. Communists are well known for this an this country likewise. You must question everything nowadays.

Wow don't know what to believe anymore! My doctor said that a blood pressure of 150/90 is normal for people over 60 years old!

My doctor told me my blood pressure supposed to be any number lower than 150/90.
