- Listen and have fun following this action packed horror story set in a summer camp. Read and listen at the same time, or just listen and do the text adventure later if you like (link below). Includes some vocabulary explanations, differences between British & American English and some very dodgy jokes.

Hi Rakhi hi
I agree with you. 😉
Such an excellent contribution you have been doing for English learners around the world!!! A thousand thanks, Luke and may your podcast prosper!!!!
Hello! And we teach correct pronunciation 😊
Tank you so much for your stories:) greetings from Poland 🇵🇱
Thanks teacher Luke. This kind of story is no my cup of tea, but I listen to it because as you say, it is great way to improve our English skills. Thanks!
I am really appreciated for your contributions. Your videos are really helpful for me to practice my listening and reading skills.
Thank you, Luke! This was an eerie, yet brilliant episode. I was particularly fascinated by the way you built suspense through your delivery and the captivating emotions and voice you used.
Your vivid descriptions, especially when you added sound effects for the onomatopoeias, brought the camp and the characters fighting against the murderers to life.
Keep up the amazing work! Wishing you all the best.
You are a wonderful English teacher 🙏 I’m really grateful for what I learned from your teaching! Thank you for your hard work and contributions on teaching English language 🙏🙏🙏🙏
You are the best teaching english!!!!!!!

Wow I truly like the end of the story! I would choose a kiss as well so it's a surprising turn. Thank you for amazing comments 😍
Also I definitely like the format of story telling, and vocabulary explanations that are going with a story. I think it doesn't disturb from the plot and even makes the process more enjoyable
This is simply awesome.
Live to hear stories from you.
Thanks!
Nice! It is very comfortable to get into the story, when you are here and help us to understand it. Thanks for your comments during the story) If I read this by myself, I will use translator every sentence)
I've just discovered your channel and it's a GEM !!!
Thanks you so much mate! I will use your videos in class and recommend your content to my students!
Keep it up and have a great day !
Awesome, thank you! Your channel looks useful for my French too!
@@LukesEnglishPodcast Hello again Luke!
First I would like to say thank you for your content. I have been binge-listening to your podcasts over the past 2 weeks and man, hats off!
That's some pretty impressive skills you've developed mate! It gives me lot of inspiration and ideas to develop my own content so big thanks for that!
I am also writing you this message because I have noticed that you often refer to how much you would like to improve your French but don't want to "feel judged" and that you get self-conscious at times ("chambre de bonne" in episode #757 :-P).
I consider myself as a pronunciation geek (you can probably tell by checking this other YT channel I am working on at the moment ua-cam.com/users/LukeLaineyvideos ) and I strongly believe that working on pronunciation is a huge help when it comes to feeling confident speaking a language.
If you want to try a 45 minute session with me doing some comprehensible input and/or doing some pronunciation and/or talking about the process of learning French, I am your man!
I'd be happy to do this online, for free and whenever you have a moment!
Let me know if you're up for that and have a great day!
Cheers
Lucas
p.s : writing here because I have tried via your internet page but got an error message on both Firefox and Chrome

I like the way you narrowed the story
You're an amazing storyteller
Thank you so much
thanks luke for making incredible podcasts that helped me a lot to learn British English
Fantastic voice and actions with explanation of all the vocabulary! English as a second language person, I had a hard time to understand those detailed adjectives when I read a book. Finally, I fall into the story and enjoyed it all the way to the end. Thank you so much for your effort and contribution Luke. I am lucky to find this podcast. I love your British accent as well. I wish I could learn that accent :) I think I will be your fan now on - Cheers,
The story was very interessing. I am going to try it with my own choices and see if the plot will be different. THank you Luke for this sharing. I really enjoy the video. It was funny and a little scarry. But like You, the end desappointed me. Have a good day everyone.
It is very easy to follow the story and to discover unknown meanings, I am grateful, thank you!
I adore such kind of UA-cam episode!

Hello Luke,
Thank you so much for your lovely and beautiful heart touching videos. I am very happy to hear you.
This is the best story in your performance Luke. I wish I hadn’t read it before!
I have followed your post, that is good sound for learning English language. Thank you for that.
Thanks for this video. I really liked it. It was fun and funny watching you making choices troughout this, a bit strange, story. The best moment was about this silly joke that main character told June - It was hilarious (not the joke, your perform of the situation).
By the way Luke, what about guitar playing at the end of your videos? I remember you used to do that kind of reward for patient listeners and it was great. I enjoyed it a lot. Would you like to do that in next episodes?
Glad you enjoyed the episode.
I’ll see if I can sing something again in an episode soon. I’m glad you consider it to be a reward 😂
The moment with telling a joke was so funny for me) Because right when you were explaining that it's not a good idea to flirt with her right away and you probably should go and put your stuff away I was thinking to myself like NO WAY you would ever miss an opportunity to choose a joke-related option and then you saying it and I'm starting to laugh)
This podcast is loaded with vocabulary 🎉 Kudos
Thank you for making this video. I really love it. Can’t wait for the next one ❤️❤️❤️
There's NOTHING I hate more than violence, but it is such a pleasure to listen to your GORGEOUS english, Luke ! A jolly nice accent.... U Language 👏👏👏👏👏 Un abrazo, from Olivos, Buenos Aires, Argentina 🇦🇷🏴🇬🇧

Hi Luke, I decided not be a ninja anymore. I usually listen to you while commuting to work on the app thats why i m not able to comment. Today at home I decided to watch/listen on youtube and reading the comments of the lepsters encouraged my to write. You became part of my everyday life thanks to my english teacher Rita. Thanks for your huge support!
I really loved the way you read this story, you sort of impersonate the characters
Hi Luke! I brand-new in LEPland and I would like to say hello to you and thanks for your podcasts, they are GREAT !!
Please upload more stories it's helping to learn English through tnem.
Hi, thanks a lot, I found so many new words in this podcast, I think it'll make me a month to memorise them all 🙂
Hi Luck, it was a great lesson, like all the stories lessons. It wasn't the best story, but enough interesting to stick me all the way to the weird end. Thank you so much .
Thanks a million Luke! I really love your episodes, all of them knock my socks off. I also keep sharing your videos with my 9 year old daughter who is a bilingual of Chinese and Japanese, lest she speak English in too strong Japanese dialect learnt from school. Instead, she is imitating your cockney accent currently. 😊
You are a very good actor , congratulaciones !
Thank you mr. luke
I have learned a lot from this outstanding Story
Thanks a lot for your Efforts
I enjoyed listening to this story. Though I didn't understand the last part(especially something about a dead body in the backyard) and couldn't agree with some jokes in the text, I liked your brilliant performance.
I could roughly figure out who the culprit was behind it, before the serial killings started. Probably I must have seen too many American horror movies. I can't comment right now because it might be a spoiler.
Thanks so much, Luke. I also love other short stories like "The Mountain", "The Escaped Man" in your channel.
I appreciate your kind explaination. It is very helpful for my English learning. From South Korea.
I love this podcast!
Good choice of story. Thank you
Thank you for your sincere efforts
Hey Luke! You are doing a great job! Thank you! Btw, do you know some books the same genre, scary, mysterious and funny at the same time? Like Goosebumps books but a little bit difficult and mature ?
'' Reckless '' has reminded me a quote from LoTR
''' Theoden:
So much death. What can men do against such reckless hate?
Aragorn:
Ride out with me. Ride out and meet them.
Theoden:
For death and glory.
Aragorn:
For Rohan. For your people.
Theoden:
The Horn of Helm Hammerhand will sound in the deep, one last time!''
Thanks a brunch
