The man behind the announcer is Hilloaki Asay (romaji Hiroaki Asai), the one thing that i knew is that he is NOT an native English speaker but he is fluent than other japanese persons.
Why is Japanese man speaking engrish when they could have gotten the previous English announcer to come back? To be the second best announcer. The first is mvc2 announcer.
And somehow, everybody instead chose to make fun of Guilty Gear and BlazBlue for not having matches start with "Round 1...Fight!". God, I hate the FGC.
I was always numb on the presentation of this game compared to the first one, but outside of that, it is the better game! I spent countless hours on this game when I had it on PS2 in the early 2000s
